Lirika Matoshi launched her namesake line of handmade accessories in 2016 at the age of 20 after moving to New York City. The Kosovo native initially began handcrafting choker necklaces on Etsy before gaining popularity for her hand-embellished tights, glittery dresses and socks, and intricate crystal covered blouses via Instagram—all created without any formal fashion school training. Inspired by her Kosovo-based fashion designer sister, Teuta Matoshi, Lirika learned firsthand the art of fashion design techniques and how to source luxury fabrics and embellishments as an emerging fashion brand. Now based in New York City, Lirika Matoshi has expanded to include a wide variety of apparel and accessories. The brand opened a successful pop-up in summer 2018 and its showroom displays all current products. The Lirika Matoshi brand is currently made up of 100% women and operates out of a New York City and a Kosovo factory. Now Lirika Matoshi’s pieces are worn worldwide. Her brand has a wide-ranging celebrity following, and the label has nearly 1 million followers on Instagram. The Lirika Matoshi womenswear label is both effortlessly romantic and intrinsically sophisticated—adding a hint of sparkle to any everyday outfit. Recently Lirika Matoshi has also been added to Forbes 30 under 30 2022.

awful quality of the product

awful quality of the product, literally worst than shein. takes two days to get a reply from them and i dont even think theres a real person answering. im sooo disapponted and sad about all this and i would never recommend.

my $640 dress came with loose seams and was falling apart. I want my money back. No one is responding to my messages.

Delivery was disappointing

The dress is indeed beautiful however be aware that you’ll be dropping glitter everywhere every time you touch it. The fit is amazing. The only real bad point was the shipping, first I assume my error of not asking where the shipping was from, when they say south east Europe, I wrongly assumed European Union but Kosovo is outside so there are fees to pay. What I didn’t expect was to pay for DHL to handle the customs process, something that usually is included by companies with the shipping service. This meant I end up paying 50% more for my dress because DHL fees were the same as taxes and customs fees. For the prices I think this is really not acceptable.

Refusal to acknowledge a sizing error :(

I absolutely love Lirika's design and was so excited to finally get my hands on a pair of their pants! However, the particular garment I received exceeded the maximum measurement for L sized pants listed on the site by almost an inch (both in the waist and hips). I brought this to the attention of customer service and included measurement photos, and was very conscious of not stretching the garment as to not exaggerate the measurements. However, they refused to acknowledge the issue and only offered to exchange the garment if I covered the shipping cost. I have really admired this company's designs and wanted to support a small business, but unfortunately this disappointing experience has turned me off of ordering from Lirika Matoshi ever again.

Edit: After posting this review I did receive an offer from them to cover the exchange shipping fees. I appreciate this and will therefore amend my 1 star rating. However, I am not compelled to shift to a completely positive rating given the resistance I experienced in the emails leading up to our final solution. I do appreciate the acknowledgement of my issue in the end though.

No complaints - only point about packaging

Ordered the white strawberry dress for my wedding and it was delivered via DHL in approx. 2.5 weeks.

Dress is perfect as described and the measurements are accurate (I would advise if you are between sizes obviously go up a size since the strawberry dress design is non-adjustable)

As mentioned, I had to pay the £130 customs fee for import into UK. Not really the brand's fault since this is the UK's problem - the fee is eyewatering for sure.

The only point for improvement would be the packaging - dress came in a mesh bag and directly inside a cardboard box. I would feel more comfortable if it had been wrapped in plastic to ensure waterproofing. Otherwise no complaints!

Bad situation but great customer service

Bought the strawberry midi dress and some unforeseen issues with custom duties came up, but customer service was immediate, helpful, and considerate. It's one of my best purchases and it's so beautifully made. Thank you for the strawberry dress. Would definitely recommend the shop and the dress.

SO SO horrible experience horrible…

SO SO horrible experience horrible customers service I couldn't receive due to their Mal coordination with the shipping company and took me a whole month to figure it out and get refunded. With zero apologetic attitude, also their email replies like a bot.

Despite our best efforts to facilitate and expedite the process, the package remained in FedEx's hands, and the customs procedures took longer than expected.

Great customer service and quality dresses

I was extremely nervous to buy a dress of this caliber, as I've never owned a piece of clothing this expensive. Their customer service was extremely kind and helpful, to help me get the right measurements needed for my two custom dresses. (One strawberry midi & one Lemon midi dress) The quality of the dresses are out of this world and really fit me to a T. Only issue I have are with the zip lines on both dresses that both get stuck at the same place, even when I'm not wearing them.

The import fee was extremely high and a gut punch, but that is not the fault of the company but of our own country's postal service.

Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely purchase from them again!

Avoid- robbing, dishonest, sly

I’ve been dealing with Klementine Ramushi
I must admit I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed that I’m having to pay more for an alternative dress when they took my order paid in full knowing there was no fabric. Me having to chase on a dispatch day as no communication from their end initially only in reply to my messages.
The anxiety caused by not having a PROM dress has been huge.
I asked for an alternative dress for the original price of the strawberry dress as it’s not my fault they don’t have the fabric and yet they still took the order?
I was sent yet another invoice for an extra $50 on top on the $490 originally paid. Reluctantly I paid the extra as my daughter still HAD NO PROM DRESS to then be hit with an invoice from dhl for an additional £140!!!!!
Avoid this company they’re sly, dishonest and will crush your daughters dream for her prom dress!

PayPal dispute now in place.
