The sizing is a little off (it's a bit smaller than on the site) but other than that it's great

i recently ordered a few items from here, and even though i haven't got them yet, i had asked for an exchange in the dress, and they were very quick in replying and very polite when answering questions, amazing customer service!

I had a situation, where the local post courier didn't do their job and just didn't deliver my package (because they are a crap company). The 42 Lolita staff acted fast and did everything so the package will get back to me. Finally got my package on time. Very good and professional customer service, they really want to help you.

The shipping was fast. They sent a lot of updates and the communication was really fast when there was some problem with my address. They even went out of their way and sent me reminders to pick up my package. Overall a pleasant experience. Clothes looked nice too. Will purchase from this store again!

definitely legit and definitely worth it. the communication from them is great and you can tell they really care, with constant updates on orders and quick reply’s to my emails. my order was estimated to ship in a month and a bit after i ordered but was shipped like 2 weeks later and arrived maybe over a week after that which was a pleasant surprise. very happy with my experience and would buy from them again (i already have 2 more orders🫩)

Communication was 10000/10 , I've never had an experience with sellers that were so thorough about it before this. I got all i ordered except one item that was out of stock which, they warned me about quite fast, and offered me to choose something else or receive a refund. I chose the refund, and it was delivered the same day i responded. Their size charts can be confusing or sometimes not exist at all but luckily clients can leave comments in which they often talk about sizing so that's how i chose what to go for.

Best customer service I've experienced! After making one purchase without checking the measurements (huge mistake, always look because the sizing on their selection is teeny tiny), I realised I would have to get plus size/custom fit pieces, so I ordered and provided my measurements. They had misinterpreted one of the measurements, and rather than mindlessly passing it onto the makers, they actually emailed to ask about it. The process was transparent, I was kept updated about shipping and all communications received from customer service were so polite and lovely. I got my clothes way sooner than expected and was overjoyed to finally have a coord that fit.

I also had a good experience with their buy for me service, which was super fast and easy, and makes you really feel like you contributed to the community.

Overall, by far the best place to get affordable lolita fashion! I love this service!!

I never received my items. The delivery people just didn’t deliver my package and while that isn’t their fault, I paid 42lolita for everything which means they have the money I paid for shipping. I even paid for insurance and they refuse to refund me. So I’ve paid over $200 for nothing but stress. And this site had such good reviews online. Such a disappointment.

Although shipping is costly and exchanges may not always be easy to do, customer service is extremely high quality and the clothing is very cute and boutique level quality. They stock a lot of amazing brands from taobao and indie providers, and help make EGL, kawaii and lolita fashion more accessible to the world. Do be careful with sizing though, some clothes may turn up smaller despite being the same measurments technically

This is an Asian fashion reseller so make sure to check your measurements against the size charts as they are nof standardised or Western sizing!

I haven't fully worn them yet but they're very comfy and they gave a freebie and a comforting lil cussion for the ankle area. Super cute! And I met someone in real life that have Nana shoes and they also bought it from this store. I am so happy to be able to find Affordable cute Lolita things, and, there are different genre for clothes and accessories. But in general, it's very cute and coquette! whether it's goth or pastel. for the price? the quality Is perfect.

Thirty dollars for shipping, it looks expensive but in fact it’s normal because I’m from France and the clothes comes from Japan (I think). Anyway, good products, well sewed, even if my pants were a bit short to my calves because I’m athletic. Still a good experience.

My daughter loves the website, we have ordered about 3x times there, it is expensive, but it is worth it, the items are of a good quality and the customer service is so very kind and attentive, we have had to contact them several times and always got answer very quick and super polite! Pre orders take a long time, so be aware of that, may take months!!

Literally couldnt pay?

Both me and my dad tried multiple times to buy the sinwavy~Vintage lolita wig (double ponytail roman roll hair) and it just told us something went wrong while trying to process the payment. We even tried on different devices but to no avail. I know i have enough to pay, and we double chevked multiple times to see that we wrote in our card info correctly. Genuenly made me so sad sknce i really wanted that wig.

I bought two pairs of shoes that didn't fit because the size chart of their own website was wrong. Now they will only refund one of two pairs of shoes. This place is a scam don't shop here.

42lolita was my introduction to lolita fashion. I was dreaming of getting into this fashion since I was little, but couldn't afford it as prices are steep (sort of a luxury fashion unless you find good deals secondhand, or from other parts of the world than Japan). I've bought from 42lolita 5 separate times now, starting in 2023 and have been happy with each and every order. Something someone may be concerned about is taking full payment for preorders, or preorders taking longer than expected. To note, this is because 42lolita is NOT a BRAND, rather they stock and order items from Chinese Indie Lolita brands who typically sell on Taobao. Usually, Taobao Resellers collect full payment because Taobao brands take a deposit and payment in installments which can be harder to keep track of (though, if you really want to, you can do this straight with the brand through Taobao if you're okay with it of course), so they do that work for you. Unfortunately, sometimes brands can have a not so great reputation for certain things like shipping time (Krad Lanrete), or sizing (Alice Girl) despite great quality. There is a notion that Chinese clothing is always poor quality, but buying from indie chinese brands via 42lolita has proven this incorrect from me. Be aware shipping can be steep since unless you're in China you're likely buying to an overseas or far off country, ESPECIALLY if you choose DHL as your shipping option (they are expensive overall, but trustworthy). Thanks to 42lolita, I was able to get into Elegant Gothic Lolita Fashion when I wasn't making much money, without sacrificing quality (99% of the time), and now I still have another option of somewhere to buy though I can afford Japanese brands!

Fantastic dress. Ordered for my daughter and the quality is amazing.

Everything I've ordered has been good quality, shipped quicker than expected, and fit well. As a dude it's a pretty big gamble to order dresses sight unseen. They have a good mix of expensive products and cheaper products and provide plenty of information about fabric and sizing.

I haven't had as much luck with other Taobao resellers.

I’ve purchased dresses and accessories through here multiple times over the last year or so, and the service has always been amazing! They are quick to ship, and the price mark up is not as bad as other Taobao resellers. I only had to contact customer service for one order when things took a while, but I received a quick answer :)
Everything was nicely packaged each time and no issues came up, I also used BuyForMe in an email to get a dress I really wanted listed, and it was put up quickly.

Beautiful products, really good customer service, i really recommand 42 lolita !
