I went on two Blackbeard trips in 2025, I was blown away. The crews on each vessel are incredible. YOu are family, you are in good hands. They are professional and fun and exciting. The boat is really nice and furnished to a high standard. The food was amazing and plentiful with Chef cooking eggs to your choosing every morning and pasta at lunchtime. There was a wide choice to suit everyone.
The crew couldn't do enough for us and helped to ensure we had a really enjoyable stay.
The dive director and guides were really knowledgeable and helpful. They did their best to ensure we got to see as much wildlife as possible.
A fantastic week of diving, eating and socialising.... really enjoyed it.

My experience with LiveAboard has always been excellent. I have booked two liveaboards with them and am in the process of booking again. If you are returning customer, they offer a small discount. They are very thorough and make sure that you have everything prepared/completed before you depart. Sometimes, the liveaboards require special health reports, etc that they helped us prepare. I have called them a few times and the staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

. We’ve had a wonderful trip in Thailand with the best crew you can imagine They spoiled us the whole week and the dive masters really looked how to dive with us. We like to dive easily and make photos and that’s what they gave us. We were surprised how good the coral was and how much fish there is in the national park. So we recommend this trip for sure.

AMBA: Great diving trip with excellent value for money 😊
The trip on the Amba was accompanied by us and is currently being accompanied personally by the owner and manager, Stefan, which results in a rare level of service orientation and a "family atmosphere".
Stefan (a trained chef) and his head chef Max (trained by Schubeck) give their all in the kitchen! From fresh sourdough bread to great desserts and fantastic curries, there is something for everyone.
Even though the Amba is no longer brand new, you can immediately see that someone is constantly making sure that everything is in good working order and that everything really works – down to the smallest detail:
Not only are there Euro plug sockets for charging the many Tamagotchis, but there is also top-quality drinking water from the tap, a selection of coffee and tea 24/7, really hot water with plenty of pressure in the shower, a well-stocked on-board bar and a small on-board shop in case anything is missing from the equipment. The boat is very well equipped, the cabins are tastefully furnished and very spacious, and the entire layout of the decks and rooms is very well thought out.
We were impressed by the dedication shown by Stefan and his team when it turned out that our Dohni had a leak and water was getting in. Not only was everything constantly checked and weighed up (safety really is "first") to ensure the safety of our trip and our dives, but we were also kept informed and involved in everything.
When the Dohni was no longer operational on the penultimate day, Stefan's team even provided a replacement Dohni just for the last dive – this is what true service orientation looks like, something you would probably hardly find on other dive boats.
The crew and dive guides were also super friendly, competent and simply nice people at all times, who you enjoy being on a boat with.
Unfortunately, in our case, visibility and currents were not ideal, but that's just nature and not something the organiser can control. However, when everything else on board is perfect, the "stupid outgoing current", which means the sharks simply don't feel like showing up, only matters half as much.

The price listed on the website is not the same as the price I was ultimately charged! The website promises a 25% discount, but in reality, it's only 20%. Some cabins are no longer available, despite the information listed on the website. I sent several emails, but I never received a response. I am a loyal customer and have always been very satisfied with Liveaboard until now, but I regret to see that the quality of service has declined. I also asked a question about the situation regarding the typhoon that hit Cebu in the Philippines: the response I received was a kind of automatic reply, with no consideration for the typhoon and the actual situation.
