Lovely platform! Don't regret trying it out
I've been tutoring on livexp for the past 2 years or so? I've been working as an online tutor for quite some time and I used to switch between different platforms, but recently I've realised that unconsciously I switched to teaching only on livexp. I like it, and I mean I genuinely enjoy it there. The support team is so, so lovely. Daria there is literally my favourite person, I don't have to worry or stress about contacting them and I know they'll actually try to understand the situation.

Best Teachers
I loved that the teachers are native and can give you the tips that you may not hear in class and definitely don't hear when you are being self-taught. Teacher Ina (Korean) is very comfortable and puts you at ease. She puts so much work into her slides and personalizes them for her students. Best experience learning by far!

It looks like an opportunity to explain the value behind our pricing. As far as we understand, you expected it to be more affordable.
With the subscription, you have all the tutors available to you without any extra charges.
You can study any language on the platform and even learn several simultaneously.
Notably, the lessons you haven't used in the current month do not expire, and you can still book them later.
You can learn using any device, cancel and reschedule classes if anything goes wrong, and reserve particular slots in your favorite tutor's schedule for regular classes. If lessons don't take place, we will always reimburse such lessons.
Also, we run special offers for our students from time to time so that you can catch one!
As for the fact that the system charged you again, this is just how the subscriptions work. If users don't cancel the subscription till the date of the next billing period, it will be prolonged automatically.

As a tutor, your image and your talents will be exploited by this company
If you're considering teaching with LiveXP, and don't mind your face being plastered in advertisements without getting paid for being used in advertisements, by all means--apply.
Their Terms of Service state that they will own whatever you post on their site and they can in turn, post it wherever they want. This includes your video, your profile pic, etc. What's stopping them from posting your image in an advertisement that will show on a website you don't want it to? Who knows.
That's still okay with you? By all means--apply.
As stated in other reviews here, they will take students' money and put the pressure on tutors to fulfill the obligation. When tutors provide availability, it's considered blocked off absolutely. As a tutor, you can't accept or deny a booking, only reschedule it. Why? Because they've already taken the students' money and they will pressure and badger you into teaching. And as stated in other reviews here, they will withhold your pay as a tutor and give all the excuses for doing so. I have never experienced a more exploitative company. Be warned.

LiveXP indeed uses our tutors' profile information in advertising campaigns to attract student audiences to the platform to help tutors get students.
Since most of the advertisement platforms and tools have their own settings, sometimes, it is challenging or even impossible at all to exclude some tutors from a specific advertising campaign. Therefore, for our tutors to be aware of that, it has been described in the LiveXP Terms of Use.
Also, the reason we strive to encourage tutors to conduct scheduled lessons is that it's rather about the image, quality, positive user experience, and further student retention. A student's first experience on the platform influences how long they will stay with you as a tutor and us as a platform. Often reschedules from a tutor and a few lessons canceled in a row are very demotivating for students. It may force them to switch to the other platform where their time is more appreciated and respected.
We understand that there is still much room for perfection for us, and we diligently gather feedback from our users and take it into consideration when improving the tools we already have and implementing new ones.
As for your concern with the withdrawal of money earned on the platform, let us assure you that all withdrawals are processed on Thursdays.

They have tried all the excuses under the sun including blaming payal. then payoneer... then finally accepting it is their fault but still without sending the funds. Dreadful, awful company.
