Localsearch Reviews 

My big mistake was trusting Localsearch with my online business profile.
Prior to engaging Localsearch in May 2024, I had two strong Google Profiles for my Wedding Celebrant practice in Wagga Wagga NSW and constantly ranked in the top 10 on Google. Now my profile is just about invisible and the Google algorythm dismisses all my profile updates as being invalid under their content policy; and this seems to be due to Localsearch's "improvements" to my profile.
Since engaging Localsearch the rate of wedding enquiry to my business from sources other than word of mouth has dropped to zero.

Unbelievable deceit lies and cons, stay away. I’d be interested if there’s any way a class action could be filed against them. Just read the reviews. Absolute scum.

As I was going through some bookwork for a business here in Queensland I discovered that local search was charging him double the amount but couldn’t come up with the extra contract. They offered a credit but we don’t want to deal with them anymore. I keep getting palmed off to another department and no one can send me the original contract that was signed for one of the businesses. They kept passing the buck even though I’ve had a few phone calls with various people … no one seems to want to take any responsibility, nor did they want to answer my questions after I’ve asked them the same question 4 or 5 times, they keep diverting and making it our problem not theirs. I did a search on Google and and the business did not come up in local search at all. When I queried this, the account executive said you have to type in the area for it to come up … even then it was way down on the list … mostly a nine or even lower. Had absolutely no or little help from these people they just keep taking money without producing any results. Yep $1820 per year … for the last 2 years (3,640 in total) that has been wasted because the slick salesman signed the business owner up to something he wasn’t sure what he was signing for. They will not accept anything but automatic direct debit. We are currently in limbo because no one wants to have an honest discussion about what is going on. We won’t be dealing with them again once the contract is up. Absolutely no customer service once that contract is signed . There is no training or education on how it all works and how to operate the app. I requested this help just the other day and nothing has happened .. just keep getting palmed off to another department. Save your money and just go to Facebook and get much better results for a lot less. Just saying.

Do not do business with this organisation. Want to charge huge amounts monthly for no delivery what so ever. Misleading information when you meet, they’ll send you to do a review straight after , mind you this shouldn’t be done until you’ve seen results too.
Would highly recommend to stay clear of them as the information provided for their so called gold page is actually on their own local search page - not explained at all
No business uses local search -they google when they want to find a service etc - overpriced and under performing selling a product that doesn’t deliver.
I also don’t wish to receive a generic response from them like “we value your feedback blah blah” that’s lip service

DO NOT USE DISGRACEFUL LOCAL SEARCH!

They will come in with smiley faces to sell you a bogus package and lead you on for months with absolutely no results, ignoring all requests to either deliver on the services they originally sold, or to stop subscription until the services are rendered. While they acknowledge their shortcomings they do nothing about it, and don’t listen to a word you say, or show any sort of respect. I will take these scammers to court with all written evidence at hand. Truly sad it has to come to this! I can only imagine the stress it would cause smaller business owners. Absolutely disgraceful! I initially had no prejudice going into partnership with them, but from decades of running multiple businesses and dealing with various third party providers, I can assure you this is not normal, you will face issues with them.

Do yourself a favour and stay away.

I sing up for ad words and Website touch up instead I got zero phone calls and a 15 page landing that I have not approved yet or seen but it seems the guy's at this company need a lesson on what customer satisfaction really is so the long and the short is wouldn't advertise with you guy's ever again really disappointed and buy the look off all these reviews you need to pick you game up.if I could leave zero stars I would.

If your business is struggling at any point (on the edge of bankruptcy) and you ask them to pause your subscription or please cancel they couldn't care less.
At one stage I forgot to send them screenshots of my bank in debit so they re invoiced it the next day because I didn't prove it 🙄
For months now they keep sending invoices but don't put me in the search results.

So you can't cancel because you have a 12 month subscription.

Yet even if you pay for this subscription late because you're forced to you don't go into their results 🤷😤 heartless scammers

3/15/24 been waiting 8 days for them to process a return of my money.
they told me 8 days ago they started the process.
the middle of the next week, i called them again to check of the status & they said it had been started.
3/26/24 just called them back & they said they were just now gonna start the process.
forgive me if i dont hold my breath!!!

Started up a new business and reached out to Local Search twice approx 6 months ago. I received one email stating "Someone will contact you" after the 2nd time but to this date no-one has ever contacted me.

Great SEO company

They Refuse to publish negative reviews. Certaintly biased toward those that pay them. Just beware using them for research.

Wanted excavating / landscaping - I got 2 of the locals and a page full of irrelevant ads. Tried rewording a dozen times and still got junk mail. I’m going to walk around the corner and ask one of the locals his price and talk to 3 neighbours and ask them who they got.

Incapable of producing a website, didn't ask for our 360 professional pics in our library until over a year after they started fumbling with the production of a website - they even had our old website to take content from but they're seemingly only interested in taking the hosting fee for a website that they've yet to produce.
The reps churn quickly, so as soon as you have one rep's attention he leaves, and so would I if all I got all day was disgruntled clients like myself
