Overall, the rental process went smoothly, and the lady at the return desk was very kind and professional. My only disappointment was that I booked an Audi A3 but received a Peugeot 2008 instead. When I asked about it, I was told that customers rent a vehicle category, not a specific model. I understand that, but in that case the category description should better explain that different body styles and vehicle types may be assigned. This would help avoid misunderstandings and better manage customer expectations.

Everything effortless and I received a good car

We were in desperate need of a car, because our own car was stolen. We had nothing. Or crying daughter and we just wanted to get out of there.

In this moment, the staff took the chance to sell us all the insurances there are to sell. So a car that should be only around €300-€500 was rented to us for more than 1000..

There was no explanation about the sum up of the total amount. We only got the end amount, and we could sign or go,Because there were more people waiting in line. I only got a paper to sign with my own credentials on it and a total amount to agree on. Only after this, I received an email with the buildup of the amount.

They took advantage of the situation we were in. Panic.

I’ve really feel mistreated and and get up sell a lot of insurances that I would never take with a clear mind. Because I have my own insurances for all this kind of damages.

We had an excellent service from start to finish on 6th June 2025 at Milano Liante. After a competitor refused to give us the car w have pre-booked for no good reason me, my husband and our 4 year old were left at the airport wondering what to do. Locauto had a vehicle available and both employees made our life so much easier! They sorted out everything for us within minutes and we were on our merry way! Cannot thank Liliana and her curly smiley colleague enough (I am sorry cannot remember the name!). Cannot recommend enough for a fuss free, stress free service :-)

Everything was really good especially the service in Catania airport. The reason we don’t give five is that we found it a little bit difficult to return the car in Torino. There were no one to talk with at 1800 hours, so we had to call by phonr to be sure to deliver the car in the right way. We felt a little bit insecure.
