Easy pick up and easy drop-off, and our car was a good one.

There is no good coordination between check24 in Germany and Locauto in Rome. I ended up paying twice for a car insurance.
The agent in Rome will try to scare you into an insurance.
Take care of refueling. Make sure the tank is full when you return the car. When I returned the car, the display indicated that 100 km are missing to full tank. They immediately charged me 55 Euro for that.

Very good car and good pick up. Terrible drop of at Bari, the address on the email was wrong, the address given at another car rental service ( locauto did not have a desk at this address) was wrong and took me 30 minutes to find the parking garage.

I am writing to formally dispute the additional charge of €150 applied to my rental due to a reported one-hour delay in returning the vehicle. The delay was not intentional. On the return date (March 29), the time had changed due to daylight saving adjustments, resulting in a 23-hour day rather than the usual 24 hours. Unfortunately, my watch was still set to the previous time, which caused an unintentional discrepancy in my return timing. Given these circumstances, I believe this charge is unfair and does not reflect a genuine late return. The difference was caused by a time change beyond my control, not negligence or misuse of the vehicle. I kindly request that you review this situation and issue a full refund of the €150 charge as a gesture of fairness and good customer service. I look forward to your prompt response.

Poor service in Rome, inconvenient process to get my car and the lady at the counter in Rome was very rude.

It was mostly easy but I could never open my customer profile using voucher number/itinerary/ booking reference etc!

The personnel were very helpful and informative. The rental place location is easy to find but collecting the car is bit tricky. But it all worked out wellin the end.

It took a long time to receive the car, system issues. Returning the car was awfully difficult, the garage is well hidden, gps can precisely locate it, it wasn't properly explained.

The staff are very helpful and nice, and the cars are very well taken care of. It's helpful that the rent is economical and the the security deposit is almost non existent.

Been renting from them since our car broke down and it's the greatest alternative so far.

I rented a car with snow chains because I was going to Abetoni. Upon arriving at the snowy location, I went to put on the "snow blanket" that was in the car; however, the blanket that was in the car was for a maximum tire size of 185, and the tire that was on the car was 205 (I have photos of everything). I couldn't put it on, and we were stuck in the snow for 2 hours with a 5-year-old child in the car. After 2 hours, a kind person appeared to help, and he had a spare tire blanket that fit my car. I bought it from him for 30 euros and was able to continue my trip.

In short, due to your irresponsibility, I was stranded on the road and had to spend 30 euros without a receipt.

We forgot our Ipad in the car and they called us immediately - and were nice about it :-)
