The service desk is not in the terminal building but across the street in the ground floor of the multi storey car park. Once located however, check in was very straightforward. I had ordered snow chains with my booking. The car was in great condition and came with the added bonus of winter tyres. As with most vendors you will need to fill up the car within a few miles of the airport to avoid a surcharge. I also recommend taking a video of the vehicle condition at the start and end of the hire period. But i had no problems with Locauto. The return process was very quick and efficient.

The rental desk was critically understaffed, it was understaffed on arrival and it was at breaking point on returning the car, with only one member of staff to issue cars and to take returns. As a customer it was very uncomfortable to experience the level of stress this member of staff was under.
This location appears to be very poorly managed / or poorly supported. There where a number irate customers which added considerably to staff stress. Very disappointing.

The person who dealt with the car hire on the front desk when we arrived, Maria, was excellent, very friendly and helpful and she sorted us out with a replacement car Wen the one we were issued with had no windscreen washer working. She also sorted it out snow socks which we may have required. When we returned to the car, they were no parking slots and so one of the company operatives asked us to park adjacent to existing parked cars and in the end I had to ask them to park the car because I didn't want to risk scratching the car we hired. We had to drive round and round the car park and this was quite stressful, considering we were also in a hurry to check in and catch our flight home. I would say our experience was average, nothing really bad, but nothing really good (apart from Maria) and the upgraded car was very nice.

Great price and very convenient for Turin Airport. Very friendly staff on arrival. Sadly the staff member on duty on Thursday evening was not so friendly. The car was in good condition and there were no extras charged. Snow socks were provided - very easy to fit and very necessary as we got up the mountain.

The collection of our hire car went really well and your employee was so helpful and polite. He advised us to refill the car at the airport upon return so it was left full. However,upon returning our rental car the attitude of your tall,skinny,bald employee was horrific. So unhelpful and angry. Then proceeded to charge me 100 euro for a quarter tank of fuel I was unable to refill as the petrol station was closed in the airport.
