Great customer service! Called about a safe I was trying to get for my RAM TRX, and they had it ready to go when I arrived to pick it up. They even offered to install for free, very happy with the product, keeps items nice and secure. Product fit perfectly, and is very easy to use. Couldn’t be happier!

Everything from the ordering, delivery, to the installation was a breeze. The site made it very clear which safe I needed, which include the option for a more robust door and lock. The delivery was fast and provided shipping updates and the install was literally minutes. To add to the great experience, there were two LED light pucks added to the order, which was unexpected, but gratefully accepted, thank you.

Shipping was delayed (through no fault of Lock’er Down) but communication was good throughout. They included a couple extra goodies to make up for the delay which was a very nice touch!

Love the vault and electronic lock, but the included attachment screws should have a different style slot instead of Phillips. Something like #2 square, torx, or even hex would be better to get a grip. Or a shallow 6 point bolt head. Service was great..even answered call after hours.

The top locking door is awesome. The problem to me is you can tear off the back of the console to gain access. I cut a couple of 1/8 aluminum sheets and fit them front and back. Also mounted a bracket I made up to the base. It just will slow down the amateur. Lets face it given time nothing will stop anyone. Construction is spot on otherwise and still worth the money.

The website is intuitive and makes finding the safe options for your vehicle easy to find, as well as any optional upgrades that you might want to consider. The instructions for installation were easy to follow along, and contained a url for video instructions. Probably took me 30 minutes to get it installed the day it arrived. Order fulfillment was very quick. Delivered a few days after ordered, and got tracking info right away. The safe itself is awesomely engineered, and will most likely last longer than my Yukon. I have no doubt that my pistol is supremely protected and simultaneously easily accessible. It's the perfect place to stash my pistol (and other valuables) when going somewhere that displays signage barring carrying a weapon. Will definitely purchase another when I get a new vehicle.

Safe is of excellent quality, very simple install on the Tacoma. The center console lid does need a little playing with to get it to latch properly but overall worth it.
