The time slots are misleading this is not the time you board. Expect to wait 1 to 2 hours. Merlin executives should actually come down and see what a typical August day looks like. Why have a booking... See more

It’s a really good experience and my girlfriend loved it however I don’t like heights (I just wanted her to be happy) and so this was uncomfortable for me anyway BUT we went on a windy day ... and needless to say the pod shook a lot ... this was an awful experience for me but it was kinda worth it to see her so happy ... if you’re scared of heights don’t go on it... if you’re feeling brave don’t go on it on a windy day... if you like heights and views this is a good shout.

The London Eye takes about 30mins to complete a full rotation so you get plenty of time to gaze out of the glass pod. There are benches and interactive features in the pods that ensure the customer experience comes first. I am very impressed with the London Eye and I would recommend it to all

Good fun
Good fun. Really touristy but it’s got to be done hasn’t it. Me and my wife and our two boys and six month old daughter had a wonderful time. The pod is spacious, moves at a reasonable pace (no motion sickness from us), and some breathtaking views. If you’ve not done it I recommend you - especially with your children.

Organised, Fast Queues, Great Views
I recently visited the London Eye with my family after delaying it for a few years and it was a great experience. I thought the queues were going to be long and boring but although the queues were long, they moved fairly quickly so you didn’t really become bored. The prices are high, as to be expected with a major tourist attraction, but the views are absolutely stunning. When you reach the top you can see for miles and see all of London’s major landmarks. The London Eye takes about 30mins to complete a full rotation so you get plenty of time to gaze out of the glass pod. There are benches and interactive features in the pods that ensure the customer experience comes first. I am very impressed with the London Eye and I would recommend it to all families looking for an exciting day out.

Lovely views
Lovely views. We bought the tickets with sealife and it was great. For the price it was worth it. You can see London nicely.

Dreadful
Dreadful. We bought tickets for the eye and for the boat trip at the same time. The eye was great and then we queued for the boat for an hour in the blazing sun - but were refused boarding cos we were ‘4 days late’ The idiots had issued us with boat tickets for 4 days ago.
No one at the box office helped - they just sent us home, disappointed. Be careful with your tickets, they’re obviously after the revenue and are not providing the service. Complaint raised with Merlin who own the eye - watch this space for updates on how they handle it.
