Avoid

Avoid. Silently cancelled my 9 month delayed box, and didn't issue refund. No communication. No reason given. Last email to them was ignored. Two prior to that reassured that the box was delayed but coming. Absolutely ridiculous.
How they are still a company is beyond me. I'm trying to get my money back but I don't know if it will be possible seeing all the other reviews here. Joke of a company.

Refund request ignored for 4 months and counting

I believed I had cancelled my subscription, but was charged again in March. Despite multiple requests for refund, my requests were ignored - then on 1st August they actually shipped goods (allegedly - nothing has been received).
I've had to place the issue with my bank to issue a chargeback - avoid this company whatever you do.

Terrible company

Terrible company, I've been a loyal customer for many years now and in the past couple of years, lootcrate have completely gone down hill.
I've had 4 orders, costing close to £200 with this company for over a year now and they constantly say they will be filing a refund, yet I never hear anything back.
Very disappointed and would recommend if people enjoy the crate ordering scheme, that the buy from someone else.

Scam website, shocking

If you want to be left waiting for over a year to receive a product and not get a refund or any kind of organised customer service then use loot crate.

I promise you will not be satisfied with the service.

I was a member and did actually receive a few crates during my subscription. Some stuff was good, some was ok and the rest was budget stuff. Some stuff left me questioning what the hell am I paying for.

Very hit and miss items.

But that’s if you actually get your product.

I have now had to start looking at other ways to get my money back as the company are completely ignoring me now. Haven’t heard from them in almost a month despite regular emails from me to them.

Shocking. Scam company.

I’ve been able to get two refunds from PayPal but am still left being owed around £130 which I can’t claim for as it was too long ago.

If you are reading this and thinking of cancelling and getting a refund then do it asap before it’s too late!

If you are reading this and in disbelief if these reviews are real then please, it’s very real and losing money illegally is also very real.

Because I live in the UK it’s going to be hard for me to get a refund but I’m trying to do what I can from overseas.

Horrible company that couldn’t care less about their customers. If I could go there in person I would!

I would give a zero star one crate is…

I would give a zero star one crate is whole year delayed and the others after that as well and you get the same blanket response when you contact someone rather than selling more crates they should ship the ones they should have already terrible company recommended NEVER using them.

Awful

As all the other reviews say - don't buy anything from here. Ordered a crate for a birthday present in January, no sign of it, no response to my requests for a refund (other than a standard copy and paste), I honestly can't believe this company is still taking money from people...take notice of all these reviews and stay well away!

Update: I have now received one of the two boxes I paid for. It only had three items in it and was of a significantly lower value than expected.

My experience was horrible with Loot…

My experience was horrible with Loot Crate. I ordered my package on November 8th 2021 and I still did not receive my product and it’s now July 27th 2022. At this point, with the amount of time I’ve been waiting, I should really receive a refund and my package. I ordered this box a year ago and The messages that I receive from them are a bunch of what it seems to be copy and paste emails. What I mean by this is they keep sending the same exact email. They were sending emails letting me know that I’d receive my package by a certain date and then they just kept pushing the date later until now they won’t even send me a message at all. They also said they would expedite a refund and they never did this either.

Poor customer service and company.

Poor customer service, poorly run “company”. If you try signing up, do it with your credit card so they can chase them up for the money and sort it out with them. I ordered a crate and it missed the delivery window because of “COVID”, i had cancelled all active subscriptions but it still took money out, I don't know how, but it still showed i had an active subscription. Absolutely ridiculous of a company.

Loot Crate is a scam. If you pay them you are throwing your money in the bin

I still haven't received the crate I ordered in December 2021, it is now July 2022. I have sought updates and have had no response. I requested a refund and have had to chase several times. I am still waiting on a response. Never subscribe to anything from this company. You will not get it and you will have to chase to get your money back

Scam

Do not buy from this site! I ordered the Inuyasha crate in november of 2021, paid for it and waited... I asked after a few months when it was getting shipped, was told the first quarter of 2022. I keep waiting but hear nothing, so I logg on their site in June only to find out my order was cancelled and I was neither informed nor refunded. They won't respond to e-mails either.

Scam artists

This company took advantage of my teenage son who is suffering a rare autoimmune disorder that causes dementia.
He had seen this company online offering this cool grab bag of surprises. So he emails them and asks questions about their products. He got one email back explaining that they send out their really cool loot crates 4 times a year. Full of surprises. But you pay the whole thing upfront.
He pays and completely forgets about it. At this time he had not been diagnosed yet. It took 27 different doctors to figure out what was going on.
So after four months he briefly has a flashback because that’s what happens and he says did I get my surprise box yet? Not sure what he’s talking about it takes me a month to figure out what’s going on I contact the company asking where his crates are. I get several emails back stating odd excuses; Covid, packages were lost in the mail, short handed….etc. I demand money back. Get the same email back stating the same message. I contact the bank to do a charge back not realizing that you only have 120 days and we were over that.
Of course you won’t be able to do a charge back on this company because of the way they have it set up with delivering packages all throughout the year.
Again I contact the company asking them to please return my sons money to him only to never hear from them again.
Please do not fall victim to these people.

UPDATE***
on Sept 4 2022 My son received an email from Loot Crate alerting him that they would be sending him a package.
Now keep in mind its been a year since he signed up and paid them to deliver 1 package every 3 months. Which has not happened.
Then on Sept 7 he received a tracking number. Okay so lets look at this. It was addressed to our old address. Thats one of the reasons i kept trying ot contact them in Feb. Only getting the generic response back.
I called the UPS company in Illinois and finally got through to an office where they tried to help. However, UPS said that Loot crate put a lock on it so that no one could alter the adress. So it would have to be delivered there. I was able to get a neighbor to help in retriving it.
Truly the trouble they have caused is unbelievable.

No box and no refund

I payed for the 3 month subscription for the Harry Potter crate in March, and here we are in mid July and I still do not have it. I have contacted them several times through email and patiently waited. The most they did was send me a link to their site with a vague estimate (about a two month window) of when they were supposed to have the crate. when I would check back the next month, the estimate would just get pushed back. I finally requested a refund about a month ago, and they have done little to nothing to make that happen or even inform me of what is going on. Their customer service is terrible, and I am starting to believe this company is out to just scam and rob people. I wish I would have been able to use PayPal to pay so I could dispute this and have my money forcibly taken back. As cool as they crates look, don't give this company your money.

Won't even delete my account.

They keep claiming they can't delete my account, completely ignoring all rules and laws about personal data deletion.

All because "there still products in my account"
Well they have been there for 2 years, without being shipped for god knows what reason.

Don't ever buy from them.

Con artists.

Con artists.

Ordered a 4 crate deal, recieced 2. After challenging them that it was close to a year delay since my last box, just script responses.

Started to do a follow up and they cancelled the remaining crates, as

Reason: other.

No refund.

Scumbags.

Do not sign up for Loot Crate!!! ITS A SCAM!!!

I had signed up for the Fallout Loot Crate which was $280. I have never received a single Loot Crate. Every month they respond to my emails with “sorry it’s been delayed and will be arriving next month”. Now it’s been exactly one year and they’re trying to take out an additional $287. Avoid The Loot Company like the plague!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered the Junji Ito Crate back in November 2021, still haven't received anything. Now July 3rd, they've cancelled my order for reason 'other'. Ive emailed them a so many times, no response.

Edit: I contacted Paypal, and they gave my money back. I'm so angry that their website is still up!
