Don’t Waste Your Money

If you want to spend money on nothing, order from Loot Crate

I ordered a box way back in Feb 22’ and never received it. After countless emails and requests for my money back, I received next to nothing back from their customer service and unsurprisingly - no box. Eventually got an email from PayPal issuing my refund today, in Nov 22’ - 9 months later, and not one further follow up email from the customer service team

Shocking how this ‘company’ is still operational - I don’t know anyone who has had a positive experience with them after asking around

Awful customer service .Instead of refund for ritney Spears dolls got sent a box of unwanted stuff such as towels etc .constant emails nothing
Last loo fright boxes were a complete sham and to be blunt a rip off company in decline avoid

To add to all the other terrible…

To add to all the other terrible reviews - after months of waiting was sent out in an UNSEALED box. Given the number of different hands it must have gone through in the delivery process it had inevitably been opened and ransaked, with just two sh*itty items left when it arrived.

You don't need to read my review to see what scammers these clowns are. They will take your money and lie for years about delays. When it's too late to get the bank involved, they ignore your requests for a refund. I hope everyone who works for this company ends up destitute.

Loot crate used to be good, Now a rip off

Loot crate used to be good. Now it is a rip off. They have refused to refund my money, the have sent a few boxes that had pitifully few items of low quality in them. Do not be suckered in, think there is a class action law suit here since they refuse to refund the money after repeated requests.

Absolutely worst experience I have ever…

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with a company. I ordered two subscriptions with loot crate. The first being a britney spears merch box and the second being a britney spears doll collection. I ordered these way back in 2019. The Merch Boxes were sent as described however after receiving the Baby One More Time box and the Oops I Did It Again box I was extremely unhappy with the quality of the goods sent for the price.

Due to this I cancelled my subscription so I didn't receive any further boxes. This was fine and I just waited for the doll boxes to be sent out. After literal years of waiting I received an email saying the doll had been cancelled and instead they would be sending the Circus box in its place. This is NOT something I was interested in receiving and had I wanted this I would have just kept my merch box ongoing in the first place.

I emailed and requested for this to be cancelled. They said that I would be however a month or so later I received the Circus box and had no refund.

What a waste of my money and time. I never received the items I actually ordered and yet they still kept my money. How is this right ?

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They collect money for products they can’t deliver. Very disappointing. Their customer service is unhelpful and just delays actually doing anything. If you buy anything from them expect to just lose your money.

filed complaint with Better Business Bureau as not getting anywhere directly

I cancelled a subscription with them last year as received nothing for around 6 months. Thought they were scammers at the time. I did get a refund but without contact or authorisation they have charged my card for this year for over £260. Totally unacceptable and getting automated responses back. Have had to escalate to credit card company too and the Better Business Bureau. The BBB have helped a lot in the last with US companies so report to them too. Avoid this company.

Waited over a year for my order to be cancelled without a refund

To whoever is considering buying a subscription from these people,

Please don't.

Your money would be wasted. I ordered their Loot Anime Fury "Berserk" crate back in July 2021. The items should have been delivered September 2021.

What followed was a series of awful copy and paste responses from their customer services when I asked why the delays simply saying that the items would ship later that month. This would go on for months with no end in sight.

It's clear their business model just simply doesn't work. They cannot get the supply or create any quality for their boxes and when this happens they just don't send you anything.

They have zero transparency about what is going on behind the scenes. All they have is a shipping delays page. Here is where they will simply update all delayed crates to say they are shipping that month or the next. This is quite clearly just a lie or purposefully misinforms customers as they know they have less supply than could meet the demand of all the subscriptions they sold.

Fast forward to this month, I was making my regular plea with their customer services to finally deliver my items or just give me a refund if they aren't capable of doing so. They gave me the same old spiel about things shipping this month. I later found out they had cancelled my order the same day without telling me. They also had not authorised a refund to my account. I have tried to contact them now multiple times and they have not replied. Despite four attempts over three weeks, they have chosen to just ignore me.

Please think twice before considering giving this joke of a company any money. They are likely weeks away from bankruptcy (again) and will just take your money and leave you with nothing but empty promises.

For what started as a fantastic subscription box service this company since changing owners has gone down hill rapidly... The boxes used to contain pretty decent merchandise now if you are lucky enough to actually receive a box at all they are filled with the cheapest objects they could find... I would highly recommend keeping your money in your own bank account earning you interest... They are bullsh!tters who keep you hanging on with empty promises. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Returning customer for some 9 years and…

Returning customer for some 9 years and ordered a crate in June 2022 and have still received nothing or refund despite me trying to get a response. To add insult to injury they have now in August taken an additional £60 for crate or crates I have not ordered and fail to contact me to issue a refund. So incredibly frustrating as this is now theft and only action I can take is chase these funds via my credit card provider. Hate to say it but a good company gone BAD in a big way and everyone should avoid

Atrocious. Avoid.

Atrocious.

Signed up for a quarterly subscription in May 2021 for one year, so expecting 4 bundles to arrive.

Only ever received 1 of the 4.

The other three were delayed again and again and again. But still listed as being expected to be shipped to me at some point in the future.

Now my order shows as cancelled and unfulfilled, without a refund for the missed deliverables. Contacting support gets nothing but automated responses.

Avoid like the plague. You are better setting your money on fire.

Genuinely don't deserve a 1 star I'd give them negatives if I could. Ordered a box months ago it missed its original release date fair enough things happen but now its looking to miss the 2nd and there is no word from the company. Not replying to emails or tweets DO NOT USE.

I would give zero if it was possible

I would give zero if it was possible. Take money amd don't deliver any goods at all. They think the email responses they give are acceptable but they lack anything towards decent service. Honestly worst decision I have ever made in using a company. They should be shut down its that bad. I'm shocked they sleep at night with this kind of theft
