Well long story

Well long story - when I rec d parcel of necklace and rabbit; the necklace fell out and I texted them that I did not receive it! In the mail today I rec d a second necklace. Now, I need to return it as it was my mistake. At the craft sale last summer in st Norbert, both of them (Louis and Lea) were very easy to talk to regarding kids, grandkids, etc.

I have tried to contact them numerous…

I have tried to contact them numerous times and never hear back. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I was paying shipping for boxes when on their site it says free shipping for everyone. Emailed them, no reply. Then I’ve been missing items in my boxes, this month I was missing two so for almost 60$ i received 4 items. Emailed them again and no responses. How can a box be missing two items? And this isn’t the first time.. wouldn’t recommend to anyone, customer service is terrible (seeing as they never answer) as well as the constant missing items. There’s so many more actually worth it boxes out there.

We're sorry to hear of your experience. We do understand how frustrating it is to try to get a hold of a company. We are a small business, just my husband and I and sometimes it's difficult to manage all the messages that come from different avenues. We'd love to know where you sent us these messages so we can clarify why they were missed somehow. Again, our sincere apologies.

The reason you may have missed products is simply because you probably subscribed to our original plan and since then we've raised our pricing and with this new plan comes the extra items. Your pricing has not been affected which is why those products weren't included.

We did send out letters in the boxes explaining this situation however, it could have definitely been missed somehow.

You can message us at hello@louisandlea.com and we will gladly check your plan and let you know if this is the case. We always want to make things right so please reach out and we will gladly help you!

Overall I have missed a few items in…

Overall I have missed a few items in past boxes and with new born not very convenient seeing as time is already hard to find. Some products are wow. Some are no offence garbage. A 3D printed cup?? A bath bomb for mom?… Some boxes are however are great. This last box was nicer to receive. The last 2 before thumbs down. It is fun receive it though.

Thanks for your feedback, we're glad you messaged us so we can clarify this situation.

I did look up your account and as suspected, you are indeed on the original plan of $32.99 per month with the added monthly bonus item of a bath product called our "Mama Add-On".

Since you've subscribed to the original plan, we've raised our pricing and with this new plan comes extra items. Your pricing was not affected which is why those products weren't included.

We did send out letters in the boxes explaining this but do understand how they could have been missed somehow.

We always strive to find innovative locally made products that we would be glad to receive ourselves. Unfortunately however, we understand that we cannot please everyone but we definitely do our best. A surprise subscription may not be the best option for some customers.

Monthly subscription is not worth the…

Monthly subscription is not worth the year long commitment, especially for what you receive. What's more frustrating is that it can't be cancelled before the year is up. So basically paying for a box that is mediocre at best. The last box came with a plastic cup that I would definitely not use for my child or myself. Will not renew as I can purchase most of similar products locally, myself. Just an honest opinion.

We do also understand that some products may not be your favourite, however, we always try to find innovative products made by local makers that we'd be glad to receive and we thought the wine glass for mom was a nice little treat. You can definitely gift it forward.

Honestly this is the best subscription box I’ve gotten by far😍😍 So many reasons to get it! 1. Free shipping. 2. Takes 3 days for it to arrive despite it coming from out of province. 3. Amazing products I wouldn’t have thought of getting me and baby. 4. Your personalized messages each month make it so special🥰 5. Supports Canadian companies! And so much more😍🥰

Love a surprise box

Love receiving this monthly box. It feels like a gift to myself. Also love that I can support Canadian small businesses. I like that I can use some of the items right away and others for when baby is a little older. This would make a really nice gift for new parents.

Super fun monthly box subscription

Super fun way to get baby essentials and have a surprise each month. Every month was bang on for things baby needed. I also really enjoyed the extra mama gift each month.

Amazing.!!

Amazing.!!! You can really feel the love ,from the Amazing Products .!!! Me and my Son really love when they would come in the mail !! with a hand written note too .! I Love that .!! Would definitely recommend my cuz who just had her baby boy .!! And my other cuz who is prego now .!!

Wonderful subscription box!

enjoy every box of subscription

I'm so glad I did submit to one year of subscription. My first time submit to something like that and did not regret for it. Each monthly box brings so much excitement for both my baby and me! Love how useful each item is and its quality. Excellent packaging and design. I like how this family business carefully chosen each item that caters to a new mom.
