I love my discovery box
I love my discovery box . Different items each month , great value for the box. Love the recipes too for some of the products.
Great family company that I met at the NEC Allergy exhibition.

Not great.
Not great value for money. I purchased the box for children for my coeliac 10 year old and inside was sachets of vitamin drinks, one of which contained 30mg of caffeine, these vitamin drinks are not for children they are for adults, especially the caffeine boost ones. There was also a can of Kombucha, that’s more geared to adult tastebuds too. I’ve cancelled the subscription, I can purchase the contents for much less elsewhere.
The contents of the box weren’t new or unique and can be purchased in any supermarket or health food store (H & B) I was hoping there would be new and exciting things for my daughter to try but we were both left feeling very disappointed.
The contents of the box were crushed as well, no care taken in packaging the items.
Would not recommend, there’s better options out there.

We are very sorry to hear you feel this way. A lot of thought goes into our mini boxes. October's mini box was actually valued at over £15 which is a saving and definitely value for money as our mini boxes are only £9.99. Also many of the products in our boxes if you were to purchase individually you would either have to buy them in bulk or pay individual delivery for, so through our boxes you get to save money as you try different brands and products, without the extra cost! Many of the products are new (for example the pasta brand has just been launched) whilst the others can only be bought online.
With regards to the vitamin sachets 'ViDrate has been developed for all age groups Nick and Rob (ViDrate Co-founders) both have young children and/or nieces and nephews, all of whom use the product and enjoy the taste!'. It is a great way to encourage younger ones to drink water and stay hydrated (as it tastes nicer) whilst also getting a boost of essential minerals. We were not aware that just one of the flavours had extra caffeine in as we were under the impression they were caffeine free- this is our mistake and we apologise for this and will be more alert in future.
The Nexba kombucha drink was mango flavoured as we find this is a favourite among kids! It is 'loaded with health-giving, gut-loving probiotics (AKA good bacteria). These probiotics help both little and big bodies to digest food and create important vitamins.' - which when cutting out gluten from your diet and suffering with coeliac disease it is essential to add these in. It is also 'linked to a bunch of health benefits, including boosting your immune system and improving allergy and asthma symptoms.' You can find out more about it on the below link.

A little disappointment.
A little disappointed really as I am a coeliac and find many of the items are more geared to vegan diets and I really only want things that are without gluten and not dairy free .I cannot tolerate too much nuts and dark chocolate and seeds etc.So I more than likely will not purchase again sadly.

As we are a discovery box, each month will feature a different range and type of products and brands- a lot of research and time goes into finding new products for our subscribers. It is likely that some months some products aren't to your liking however, you may also find some that you love! Our whole aim is to help you try and discover new brands and products you may not have otherwise found or bothered to try. A lot of Gluten free products are also naturally vegan or made to be vegan so as to cater for as many allergies as possible (many people are also allergic to eggs and dairy as well as gluten)- this is definitely a positive note to see more and more brands trying to accommodate those of us with more than one allergy, and seeing the 'free from' world starting to expand; however, I can definitely understand how this can be frustrating for you, and as said above I will pass all your feedback onto the team so that we can take this on board for future boxes.

Too many awful tasting vegan products. Some are delicious but the bad outweighs the good.

I subscribe to a gluten free box for my son every month.
Usually they are packed very well however, this month the ‘pot noodle’ was squashed and the lid came off in transit, covering everything else with fish powder.
Cannot fault the variety or quantity of items received each month, this time though would have preferred one less thing if it meant the box wasn’t bursting and ruining everything else.

Brilliant range of GF foods!
I must admit, I was a little hesitant about subscribing to this GF box, I was expecting maybe 5 or 6 items, mainly snacks. What I got was a full to bursting box of a range of foods! Savoury and sweet, breakfast and dinner even a drink!
Absolutely stunning and that was just my first box!
Highly recommend this box if you are looking for gluten free items and can't find any in the major supermarkets. But also because it's gets you trying foods you wouldn't normally think of!

My daughter loves receiving her kids snack box, although this time we felt there wasn’t as many children’s snacks and more aimed at adults. However, it’s still nice for her to have the option to try different products.

These boxes are the stuff of dreams
These boxes are the stuff of dreams. Particularly if you are gluten-free, a snacker and don’t want to spend half of your salary on overpriced supermarket items. Everything in the box is so carefully thought out, packed with love and so interesting to eat - you get to try lots of different snacks (both savoury and sweet), and some of the best ones are the ones that you wouldn’t pick up first! I love waiting for my box to arrive. Can’t recommend enough.

Got the wrong box
The box I received was full with nice little snacks, noodles, flour. Poorly I received the „gf + df“-box instead of my ordered „gf + oatfree“-box. :-(
I hope next month itll be the right one.
