Paid for flights and they then rang to say that it’s an extra £90. Should never have taken money in first place or offer flights at that cost.
Avoid at all cost.

Very easy to deal with until you have a problem!! Myself and 13 of my family members booked our holiday through love holidays. 6 weeks before our holiday they email some of us to say our flight had been changed to the evening before. Our hotel is fully booked so we have to pay for a hotel room in another resort so we have somewhere to sleep for the night. My parents who are elderly were also told that the transfer to the hotel doesn't go at that hour of the night. So they now have to pay for a private transfer. And my sister wasn't contacted at all about her change of flight. She only discovered it herself when she went to add a bag . When you try to call them you get an automated ai robot called sandy that does everything in her power to get you to hang up. And when you eventually get to talk to someone they dont have any answers any of your questions.

Flights changed by airline without telling us, even though transfers were paid, there is no transfer at 3am when we land, no check in till 2pm, had to organise our own transfer and pay for a night in another hotel...not good enough....won't be using them again

2 months of waffle, then nothing.
Well Folks,
They just came back to me after 2 months of apologies and promises of action.
They said that the hotel met the standards required and they won't be doing anything.
Just to remind all the families out there about to book with Love Holidays.. this is a brief summary..
My wife and 2 kids booked a lovely 4 star hotel in Tenerife. Breakfast was included and was paid for in full and in advance.
We went down the first morning for breakfast. A very poor selection greeted us but so be it..we were starved. It was a self service buffet with 1 member of staff lingering near the bar. The hot food (eggs,sausage, bacon etc) was stone cold. All the bread and even the pastries were stale and the cold drinks (juices, milk) were warm as they weren't even refrigerated.
My kids were upset, as was my wife. We ended up leaving and getting a taxi into the town to eat. We had to do that every morning. It cost a small fortune but we had no choice. We immediately contacted Love Holidays on May 23rd and promises upon promises of compensation and accountability were forthcoming...yet just yesterday they confirmed that they wouldn't be doing anything.
It just goes to show you...booking a holiday with this company is pointless if you expect them to be a safety net of some sort. Do yourselves a favour. Book the hotel, flights and transfers directly. Get a better deal, and if worst comes to the worst and you have an issue...you can deal with the hotel directly and get it sorted.
This lot are all talk.
