I’ve been buying my kraut and kombucha from loving foods for over 6 years now - and Faye is the brilliant human being on the end of a (prompt!) email if I’ve ever had a query about pausing my subscription or asking about fermenting!
I LOVE their products and their commitment to this ancient art of preserving food.
Their prices are fair, their packaging and delivery are exemplary - basically all this is why I keep coming back regularly.
I just wish all online shopping companies were as honest and manned by humans like loving foods are!

I love the products

Great products. My gut health is noticeably much better, I can relax and enjoy food eating these fantastic products. The whole ordering and delivery process is very easy and efficient.

An amazing product that I’m really going to have to try all the Kimchi’s to be able to decide my taste preference & I’m so looking forward to that. So here goes..

I love the quality of Loving Foods ferments! The turmeric kimchi and ruby kraut really hit the spot. I use them in Buddha bowls and peanut butter sandwiches; they're both great with scrambled eggs, or with fried minced beef or turkey and a dollop of cottage cheese!

Top products! I have bought numerous times and Loving Foods never disappoint. The Saurkraut and Kimchi with turmeric and black pepper are my go to! The turmeric kimchi is gorgeous! Definitely recommend

I'm quite obsessed with the Ruby Sauerkraut. After trying a couple of the sauerkrauts, and a kimchi, this is my favourite 😍. It's so delicious I eat it straight out the jar. As well as tasting great, I also know that it's great for my gut microbiome and working wonders from the inside.

The sauerkraut is absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and fantastic flavor. My personal favorite is the Spicy Cortido, and the kimchi is just as incredible—both are packed with bold, delicious taste. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for exceptional fermented foods backed by outstanding customer service!

This is such an honest and incredible health brand. With so much greenwashing and shortcuts going on with many brands, it means a lot to me to have found Loving Foods.

All ingredients are organic, the quality of the products is incredible and stand out for anyone who is truly health conscious. No plastic is used during the food production process, they store the ferments in glass.

Admittedly there is some plastic used to send the products, but the products are packaged in glass and are real ferments, so they both need to be wrapped to arrive in a good state and can leak.

As a consumer that honestly makes me happy to see because it shows me these are real, living products and that the brand cares about my health start to finish. And Loving Foods is transparent about wanting to reduce the plastic packaging in the future and actively looking for solutions.

They do traditional fermenting and keep proper fermentation times. The products taste amazing, it feels amazing to eat them and they truly have options for any taste palate.

We have tried all of their products by now and enjoyed them all. That really impressed us. Our favourites are the Hot 'N Smoky Kimchi, Ruby Kraut, Caraway & Juniper Berry Sauerkraut, Spicy Cortido, Jun-Kombucha and, Lemon Ginger Jun and Matcha Mint Kombucha. 


I didn’t expect my partner to eat them with me, but he is almost crazier about them than me :). We have a pretty healthy diet overall, but this boosted it even more and it’s such an easy way to add vegetables on busy days. We eat Loving Foods with everything now. They look beautiful and we love thinking about which to pair with our meals. We even gift them to our friends and family. So far they all love them and it was easy to find the right one for every person. They even have a Sauerkraut for dogs now. Humans can eat it, too, it's just lower in salt and it's tasty.

It is always great service from Loving Foods. I have been using them for years. I think they started the business at around the time The Cultured Cellar was closing down, and I was very grateful to find them, as I was afraid I'd have to start making my own kraut! (I tried that once and it did not go well!) I am enjoying the new Cool Kimchi at the moment and am a long time user of the Ruby Kraut too. As far as drinks go, you cannot beat the blueberry and lavender kombucha - it is better than any fizzy pop you'll find! Orders are dispatched promptly and packed well, and the customer service is excellent. I use Loving Foods' krauts and kombucha every single day without fail and I hope they will keep offering these wonderfully healthy, probiotic products for a very long time! Thank you, team!

I have found that the customer service team at loving foods is very responsive and helpful. They addressed my concerns promptly and answered my questions in an informative way. I have been a customer for many years and will continue to order their excellent products.

Great customer service as well as delicious and healthy food.

Was loving the product. Unfortunately their courier arrived and said that the glass had broken and it was leaking so they couldn’t deliver to me. Messaged Loving foods and got told “our delivery T&C’s state not to decline delivery due to leaks (this is against consumer rights btw). I informed them I didn’t and it was their courier that refused delivery due to it being broken. That was on the 23rd April. They refused a refund and then offered to deliver another batch. That didn’t arrive so I contacted again only to be told “we haven’t received the other ones back from the courier”!!!!

No one bothered to call me about it so had to put a chargeback through my bank. I then get an email saying we should’ve refunded you so if you cancel the chargeback we refund now. Can’t cancel chargeback and they aren’t rushing to sort it with the bank. They are letting it take the full 13 weeks for the process to run its course. Even though they could just tell Mastercard it’s a legitimate claim and pay it back quickly.

I love supporting small companies in the uk but due to this Awful after sales experience and lack of support I will never purchase from them again. Moved onto another brand that’s a 1/3rd of the price and lovely. Silver lining.

Edit: once again back with the “we told the customer” “dhl say delivered” blah blah blah. Just refund the money or tell your bank to and don’t wait the full 13 weeks for the process to finish.

Did you chase dhl for the return? Doubt it! Anyway it was damaged and the driver said it was stinking the back of his van out - chances are the threw it away.

Here’s an idea. Put big labels on the packaging stating fragile and do not refuse delivery or to deliver if damaged/leaking.

Just pay the refund and also the other product is in plastic but still organic and made in the UK - all for £2.15 and lovely customer service 👍🏼

Edit: Outrageously this company have said to Mastercard they have proof I refused delivery after telling me if I cancelled the chargeback they would refund me. I couldn’t cancel it and they were aware and yet they still fight it with lies. Why o why after saying you’ll refund if I cancelled the dispute would you tell Mastercard otherwise. This is now escalating further and will end up in a small claims court of the refund isn’t forthcoming

Avoid this company, poor quality products, leaking all over the packaging and they will not give refunds. Avoid.
I’ve requested a refund from you and sent you photos of the leaking package, all the packaging was soaked and stunk. So I threw away after taking photos. You requested the jar back in order for me to receive a review. It was sticky, smelly and wet so I threw it away. Please refund me the £9.99 I was charged.

Initially they seemed incredibly slow at dispatching my goods that I got I touch with customer support [at Loving Foods] who responded within the hour and the were super apologetic, it transpired that my order had got lost at some point between them and or at Amazon, whip they were using as a delivery service. Without any questions or hesitation they quickly re sent my order, softer checking to see what my preference was, either refund or resend. The products arrived within a couple of days, excellently packaged, whilst one was leaking slightly* the packaging prevented thus being a problem and the liquid was easily cleaned. I haven’t tried the products yet Cool Kimchi and Sauerkraut, but both look great. All in all I will certainly deal with Loving Foods again, 10/10 for customer service.

* I want to stress that this not an issue for me as the food is fermented it is something that I expected
