Lucy and Yak are brilliant
Lucy and Yak are brilliant. I have purchased numerous pairs of dungarees for my daughter and have now brought myself a pair ! The quality is amazing, the fit is perfect and the designs are stunning. Delivery is extremely quick and returns simple to complete (Only had to do this once when my daughter was brought two pairs of the same design for Christmas !) I have no negative comments to make about Lucy and Yak. Their customer service team are phenomenal and nothing is too much trouble. I could go on praising them forever. Well done Lucy and Yak, a perfect example of an excellent online experience.

I’m giving 5 stars because my issue was resolved! I sent back some items recently and when I got my refund I only received it on part of my return. I emailed and they replied pretty quickly and confirmed they had only received part of my return when I sent it all! I kept my receipt from the post office which by weight confirmed by the weight that I’d sent everything. Full refund was issued. Scary moment but all resolved. So happy. Just abit sad that happened. I have since returned other bits with no issues
Poor Quality, ripped within 2 weeks
I bought a Lucy and Yak Ragan Denim Jumpsuit and it ripped at the sleeve within 2 weeks, and has just ripped at my BUM after 2 months of wear. This jumpsuit was way too expensive for me to not even get 3 months of wear out of it? Why would you make a jumpsuit that cannot be worn for everyday physical activities? Absolutely baffling. I even sized up! I’m telling everyone I know to never buy lucy and yak i swear to god i’m so mad

Good customer service
Kat went out of her way to sort an issue I had (no fault of L&Y nor mine) but it was resolved super quickly. Thanks Kat!
Top notch overall
Top notch services, and high quality clothes. They helped me with my return issue I faced immediately and that helped a lot.
Mega !
No mater if it´s from the website or in store, it’s always a perfect experience. High quality items, friendly staff, and problems solved quickly (only happened once but customer service is top notch !
See you soon
Returns
Had to return a pair of jeans. The process went smoothly even with the re activation of a voucher. One of the assistants realised I need a petite size as I’m 5’2” and produced a pair of the same style which fitted perfectly. Very professional, very happy me!
Dear Lucy & Yak Team,
Dear Lucy & Yak Team,
I wanted to share my heartfelt thanks for the genuinely wonderful experience I had at your paint workshop in the Spitalfields Market pop-up on Friday 23rd January @ 11-1.
From the moment I arrived, your team made me feel so welcome — especially Joe, the store manager, and Marina, his cheerful and approachable assistant. When the workshop started a little late, Marina immediately put us at ease, invited us to look around the beautiful store and greeted everyone with a warm, friendly smile.
When Joe arrived, he couldn’t have been more apologetic and attentive. He took the time to explain how the workshop would run, asked if we needed anything, and listened when I explained how nervous I was about painting on my special work dungarees. Rather than dismissing my concern, he kindly offered me a practice tote bag, even asking what colour I preferred — such a thoughtful touch.
His reassuring, patient, and genuinely caring manner — along with bringing us paints and offering cold drinks — made the afternoon truly special. Joe checked in at just the right moments to be supportive without hovering. I had the best couple of hours; I felt confident, creative, and genuinely happy — something I really needed after a tough week.
This experience has given me the confidence to personalise my Lucy & Yak dungarees and aprons with my own designs, and I couldn’t be more delighted with what I created. See photos attached.
Please could you pass this message on to head office and to Joe, and let him know how much his kindness and encouragement meant to me? I’d also love for Marina to be recognised for her warm, bright energy — her smile really sets the tone for a welcoming experience.

Recently visited the Castleford Freeport store with my daughter and purchased items for my daughter who has nothing but praise for the design and quality of the clothes. My daughter loved the wide range and value for money, with the assistant being extremely helpful, sorry didn't get her name.

It started out so well… then it wasn’t.
Since the brand has been sold last year (2025) it’s gone down hill, the quality is shocking, the consistency of drops and not being eco anymore really makes you disappointed.

I’ve tried this brand twice
I’ve tried this brand twice. I loved the patterns and I think they are pretty affordable for mostly cotton clothes. Both times the pants fit horribly and I just have to eat the cost because I paid $15 for shipping on $70 pants and would have to pay another $15 to return. I can’t spend all that just to try out different fits and sizes.

Non-existent customer service
I am extremely disappointed with Lucy & Yak’s customer service.
I returned an item from order #3520514 and received confirmation that my return was submitted, with a promised store credit once the parcel was received (£123.51).
Since 29 December, I have sent multiple emails requesting confirmation that my returned parcel was received and asking when I would receive the store credit. Despite several follow-ups (5 January, 13 January, and 20 January), I have received no response whatsoever.
I also visited the Lucy & Yak store in Spitalfields, London, hoping to get help in person, but the staff were unable to provide any answers or assistance regarding my return.
This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, especially for a brand that claims to value its customers and ethics. To this day, I still have no confirmation and no refund credit.
I cannot recommend Lucy & Yak until this issue is properly resolved.

Horrible customer service and money stolen from return
I submitted a return on time and followed the procedure. I sent back both items and have only received refund for one item. I've have emailed them numerous time and have not received a single reply. They currently have the returned item and my money. Horrible customer service so far. Still waiting for someone to respond and refund my money. This is on top of the crazy shipping fees that need to be paid in order to send the product back.

Card only???? Really ???
Visited the Edinburgh shop for the first time, the shop was very nicely set out, staff were very welcoming, good range of products, the one star rating is because it's card only, for a company that claims to be diverse and inclusive this isn't very good! This excludes a whole customer base, not EVERYONE uses card, some of us are cash users and this is blatant disregard for customers who aren't convinced to pay for items on card, or on their phone, it is quite discriminatory in fact, Lucy and yak have to up their game and start accepting cash, the clap trap about the environment etc doesn't wash, shop assistant said it's for environmental reasons, sorry, but using power to keep card readers and digital stuff running uses more energy than handing over cash and getting change back. When will companies realise that people don't all blindly accept paying by card only!

All good!
Quick reply, nice communication, helped me directly and the dungarees I got are amazing!
