Travis did a great job helping us find the flat we purchased and from the time our offer was accepted Mark helped smooth the path between solicitors effectively. A really positive experience as a buyer from start to end.

The Lettings Manager, Daniela Gomes, has always been extremely helpful with any issues I have raised from rent increases to finding new tenants to assisting with maintenance issues. I bought a house through this firm (Canada Water, London branch). The agent was pleasant and nice enough but I’m pretty sure I was lied to when it came to offers. The property had been on the market for months with very little interest. I had a first viewing and didn’t do a second viewing for a couple of months. I was told then there had been little interest. As soon as I’d make an offer suddenly there was a rival offer, very close to mine. What a coincidence. It then immediately went to sealed bids. Seemed strange at the time to go to sealed bids for 2 offers but I went along with it. I paid what I was comfortable paying but it’s a psychological game and you always go higher than you perhaps would but for the fact you’re told it’s your last opportunity. A day later I was told I was the preferred bidder and my offer had been accepted. When I moved in the seller had left her calendar and my viewings were pencilled in but none others. If I was lied to that’s pretty unethical.

Within a few weeks of moving in I was bombarded with calls from the agent asking if I was interested in a valuation and selling my property. Um, I’d literally just moved in, why would I want to move? For the next 2 years I’ve been bombarded with further messages and calls. I’ve emailed several times asking that I get taken off their mailing list and they’re breaching GDPR but the calls and messages continued. Finally, after sending a further strongly worded email they seem to have stopped. I hope that continues.

Ashley gave quick responses and was super helpful in providing us all the relevant information we needed about the property and guiding us through the whole process, making the process smooth and easy. Definitely recommend ludlowthompson and will be using them again.
