Purchased a luggie from luggie scooters, leigh. Nothing but problems and they seem unable to fix it properly.

Excellent experience all round.
Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly from the lady I spoke to on the phone to arrange the home demonstration to Shaun who came to show me the Luggie.
I was shown everything that I would need to know about the Luggie in a professional and friendly way. I tried it out in the house as well as outside. Shaun even showed me the best way of lifting it into my car allowing me to have a go myself.
The Luggie was certainly the easiest and lightest of the mobility scooters I have looked at and I am looking forward to being more independent and mobile

Excellent Customer Service
I rang Luggie Scooters with a question about parts for my Luggie Elite scooter. Sophie and Caroline dealt with my request in an efficient and courteous way including sending a .pdf of parts so as to ensure that I could correctly identify the part.

Excellent product and service
The Luggie scooter has been a real “liberator” for my mother. She has access to shops, restaurants, museums, botanical gardens, airports, etc all places that on crutches, she just could not even contemplate before. Last year we went to Budapest together, and we walked and scootered everywhere. We really tested the mileage limit to the max.
Apart from the product being a very special and versatile mobility scooter (in my research the best), the sales demonstration was slick, professional and punctual and the backup service was phenomenal.
We developed a creaky noise which I did not want to send my Mom back with, so I called the service centre thinking that this was going to be a drama, which it was certainly not. They sent a box to pack it into, sent a collection agent and repaired and returned it to my door!!!!! It was really a great experience. Definitely 5 stars!!!

Have taken it on 2 cruises, In Japan they are very organised for less mobile people and we were treated like royalty! Japan is FAB!
We also use for trips to - for example - Birmingham Symphony Hall where the parking is not close.
100% happy!

The luggie scooter is brilliant BUT is let down by the fact that now it is owned with/by Local Mobility and they refuse to sell batteries and spare parts to my local mobility shop. They will give no discount to a local supplier so they can supply a battery to a charity through approved channels - Local Mobility's answer is the other shop should take a hit on mark up or charge the charity more than the retail price
Very disappointed - think I will look at one of the other folding scooters on the market like the Transformer

I bought my Luggie scooter about 6 month ago,I have had several different scooters in the past but non as versatile as this. The lithium battery lasts for ages,I can do at least 4 or 5 shopping trips before recharging,it is comfortable to ride on and easy to drive and manoeuvre round busy shops and streets, and the speed is easy to control.I have a Luggie bag on the back which holds a reasonable amount of shopping.I thought it might be quite complicated to unfold and fold so wrote instructions to keep in my bag,I read them once as folding and unfolding the Luggie is just so easy.It pulls along like a suitcase on wheels when folded, so I can go on public transport and even start going on coach trips again.I would recommend the Luggie to anyone with mobility problems,it has certainly given me more freedom and a better quality of life

I have had my Luggie Elite for a few…
I have had my Luggie Elite for a few months and I am loving it. I've never driven a car, having failed my driving test and held off getting a mobility scooter because I was nervous on taking one out and driving it around. How was I going to drive along a pavement, would I be able to reverse it without banging into anything and how would I be able to cross a road? No worries! I phoned up Luggie after watching the demonstrations on Ideal World and along came Shaun, his knowledge on how luggie worked was excellent. He explained everything in a way I could understand, he showed me how to use it, folding it down and then how to put it back up. He took me around the inside of my flat, getting through doors etc.
We then went down to the car park and went through the different speeds and reversing, then out onto the road, he showed how to cross the road safely and how to align the scooter with the crossing. I would never have had such all round instructions and help if I had purchased one from a shop. Shaun even showed my husband and son the best way to put it into the boot of a car. He was so patient, never rushing through it. I've been on a bus with it, folding it easily to take it on board. I drive it into the supermarkets getting up and down isles easily. I can get into spaces that bigger scooters can't right up to the tills to pay.
With my mobility problems a walk to town was a nightmare, it was one or two shops then I had to go home. Not anymore, my Luggie has given me a new lease of life. I can go where I want and as far as I want.... Thankyou Shaun and Luggie for changing my life. To those who were like me, undecided and nervous I say ''Go ahead you will never regret it'' P.S it's onto a plane next!

I had a very simple request for a spare part. It was dealt with extraordinary inefficiency requiring at least 4 phone calls and wrong parts being sent on 2 occasions. The parts are extremely expensive e.g. a very simple small screws (NOT finely engineered) costing between £5 and £10) A rip off from a company dealing with vulnerable disabled people
