I'm female, age 61, and trying to get through menopause. I purchased the product through Fred Meyers because they're great about returns if a product fails. I bought 2 of the Lavender Sage, whole body sprays. One can the spray nozzel stopped working partailly through, so it was returned for a refund. The other can the nozzell got stuck 'on' and it wouldn't stop spraying so I threw it away. I'm trying the Whole Body Deodorant. When I use it at night then it get's me through 24-hours. I haven't been able to make it to the advertised 72-hours. So far after using it 3-months, I like the product and will continue to use it.

Purchased the dial up and it worked just fine for me. The price is a lot, so I am back to my regular deo.

I loved the original Lume deodorant. Powder the rose the coconut worked very well for me. The tangerine did not work for me so you definitely have to find what works best for your body that being said the new deodorant that they came out with with the aluminum in it I am highly disappointed. It smells nothing like powder for the one that I selected and I would not have bought it had I known that there was aluminum in it I thought it was just different packaging. Do I sweat no so in that regards it does work, but I am not happy that in all natural company went as far and placed aluminum in their product.

Worst product ever, I developed a chemical burn after a week of use

Used Lume underarm for about 3 months. Noticed my underarms were a bit itchy - thought it was due to the warmer weather here. This morning my underarms were extremely itchy - they are very red and covered in a rash! I washed area well and itching stopped. Liked it up to this point, but will no longer use.

You have to pick the right scent of Lume. I had the Tangerine one before and it had a more pleasant smell. I bought Alpine this time as I'm into spa scents in general. It actually has a stank of its own, not much better than mine! They only have a 60 day return policy. I hadn't used it right away, but started more recently and it's too late to return it.

I was so excited to try since developed by obgyn. That changed very quickly. I'm very disappointed. Not only didn't it last and left white marks on all my clothes but it went on like chalk. My store bought is much better and will be tossing lume and back to my store bought. Even my sis-in-law hates it. So sad!

This shit stinks so bad 🤢 I was making care packages for the houseless. I won't give that to anybody. Putting stink on is not supposed to be the goal yuck. The only thing usable IMO is the scent free wipes. But I won't be purchasing again.

I have tried this company in multiple iterations because it was recommended by a friend. zthe first time I used it, it was new to market and I purchased the unscented kind. It smelled ATROCIOUS. I even had friends smell it to see if I was just sensitive to it. I literally could not give it away. (I bought a 2 pack and 1 was unopened). I ended up throwing them out after a yr of rejection from ppl to take them off my hands.

I then tried a stick deodorant several yrs later. The lilac blah blah blah. It smelled fine. Strong, but I liked it. I started having these "super productive" workouts where I was suddenly sweating non-stop all over, and Lume keot me from smelling rank.

I then switched to the spray kind because that was all that was available when I needed to replenish my storage. The week I changed my deodorant, I was violently ill. Dry heaving, migraines, actual vomitting, profusely sweating. I'd wake up in the middle of the night covered in sweat...had some sort of bug... or so I thought. This lasted around 2.5 weeks. I noticed that I was fine when traveling, though, so I assumed something in my apt was making me ill. We suspected mold poisoning.

One morning I was getting dressed and applied my deodorant and became VIOLENTLY ill within seconds of application. Testing a theory, I washed the deodorant off and left the room. I was fine within a few minutes. I stopped using Lume and have not had any symptoms since.

My doctor and I realized I'm allergic or intolerant to some of Lume's ingredients. My body was treating lume like a toxin/poison. Idk what is in it, but the sweating that I had w my workouts? Gone. I still sweat some, but not like I did when I used Lume. I also no longer have the vomitting or migraines. I am positive for the MTHFR gene, which could be related, so if you also have this... please be aware.

As a side note: my friend also tried Lume for a month and hated it. We both gave away our packages. Would not recommend this brand to anyone. ever.

I purchased the Lavender and sage deodorant and body lotion in 2022. It was wonderful, it smelled great but did not last 72 hours. Fast forward to 2025. I needed more deodorant and body lotion and sense I was somewhat happy with my first purchase I decided to buy again. Bad idea! The body lotion which I bought the lavender and sage since I was somewhat happy with that scent. The new order was very very different than my first order. The first order of the body lotion was thicker, my second order of the body lotion was very runny like a cheap hotel lotion and it smelled different, very disappointed with the second order. I contacted Lume and this is their explanation: 'We changed our formula in 2022' that's it ! no I am sorry you are experiencing this with our product, no we will happily refund your money, NOTHING! I threw the product away, it was so runny that I didn't even have to squeeze the tube to get the lotion out, I opened the cap and the lotion just started running out of the tube. Very disappointed and I will never buy this product again. I expected a little more from the company after purchasing an over priced cheap hotel lotion. I do not recommend Lume.

I ordered a spray can of the body mist. About 1/3 of the way gone, the spray turned to stream. I tried to stick a pin down in the hole and wash it with hot water, no avail. I got ahold of customer service; they sent me a new can. I, in turn, ordered another new can myself. $14-$15 a can. Long story, all 3 cans only sprayed/ misted for about 1/3 of the can, 2/3 left but it only streams. I'm done, I threw them all out. Found better, cheaper with FDS, body spray. No, would not recommend this product.

72 Hour odor protection? It definitely does NOT last 72 hours. Put it on in the morning and by dinner time the body odor was coming through. I wonder how Lume can advertise 72 hour odor protection when that's completely FALSE! I also experienced stinging on the second day. I’ve never felt discomfort with my usual deodorant, strange as I thought this was non toxic? A very expensive product that doesn't work as advertised.

There was a class action suit against them, you can search on the internet. Please read the 1* reviews on each of their products on their website and read the 1* reviews here on Trustpilot before you buy. Many people complained. Please be aware of bad customer service. They do not refund even if your package is damaged in transit. Many customers have not received their orders and have lost their money. I would give negative stars if I could for Lume Whole Body Deodorant for Pits, Privates, and Beyond in Lavender Sage. I trusted the labeling that it was safe for privates and sprayed a spritz on my underwear about 9 am. By 6:30 pm I was desperate with a full-blown Urinary Tract Infection increasing in pressure and pain throughout my area down there. Inside and out even though this product was only a spritz on the underwear. I couldn't sleep through the weekend until I could get meds. I was writhing with back (kidney area) pain Sunday night. Having to go all day and all night, with pain, pressure, and irritation in my rear end all weekend was like visiting what hell must be like. I wrote them about it, and they apologized but after my repeatedly emphasizing their need to change their labeling because it is obvious this is NOT safe for privates, they essentially blew me off. They said it was "safe" because of all "the research behind this product by professionals." I said that I may be on the perimeter of the bell curve in their studies, but even as a minority of reaction to this product, it shouldn't be labeled "safe." Do NOT use this product if you do not want a UTI or irritation in your privates. Horrible. This started Friday night 1/23/26, and here I am Thursday 1/29/26 still down with burning, and unwell because of the meds I am having to take because of this product. I just thank goodness I am retired so I don't have to deal with the stress about missing work. There is NO way I would have been able to work had this happened then. I haven't been able to sit up very long yet even today.

My wife bought me the unscented cream for men. This stuff has a Pog smell to it. I feel like throwing it in the trash. Then she brought me the sport spray. Talk about overkill on the sent OMG. I will never buy there products ever again.

It works for 24 hours, only when you just get out of the shower. It's doesn't smell good so I buy unscented. It's a waste of money now. Having to use it every day, I may as well use my regular deodorant because it's much cheaper and at least it's predictable, unlike Lume.

I love Lume deodorant so much! I’ve been using it since 2019 very consistently. I don’t expect any deodorant to last 72 hours because I’m a clean person that showers daily. It’s lasted 48 hours for me as a person who sweats a lot. Like I said I SHOWER! It’s great!

Lasts days. Unfortunately you will develope an odd smell that lasts for weeks. I tried it a few different times. Funny thing is that my lotion type deodorant was stolen and the person who lifted it offered her opinion that it made her smell. I thought, good! Nope is not good for me.

Nice fragrance, but no odor protection whatsoever! Decided to try Lume deo to see if it would help with my underarm odor. Been using it, says odor protection up to 72 hrs., which is a lie. I had underarm odor the following next day. Will not buy this product again as is it costly!
