Lume Deodorant Reviews 

My first impression of lume was the smell. It was not good, but... using it was great. I love it, especially the tangerine. I am a woman in menopause so that should say a lot. I also have extra activities outside in the south that causes anyone to sweat, a lot!! Then I tried lume with sweat control. Yep, I am back to the original. It does not control odor . I world rather sweat than have odor. I love Lume. Just not the sweat control.

When my mother was dying and couldn’t tolerate many things on her body I trusted this brand. What a mistake. It broke her out in the hives. Thanks jerks. Then I thought well I’ll try it to see what happens to me. The good news is I didn’t break out into a rash. The bad news is it smelled like BO itself, and it gave zero protection against my own odor. I can’t remember the last time I had a deodorant failed me down so bad. Never again.

This product is not safe for the body. It is made of so many chemicals that are always harmful to ones body. It is NOT ORGANIC. It burns skin, smells terrible after its on for a few minutes. Moreover the commericals are nasty.

I purchased lume with the high hopes and paid the high price in more ways than one. We'll I used lume and it did not hold the entire day. In fact I was not fresh by middle of day and while at work . Big promise bigger lies

AWEFUL! I wore it about a week and at first, it was great. I suffer from very bad smelling armpits due to peri menopause, and I have tried it all, so I finally decided to give Lume a try. I didn't want to prior due to the price. Well, I bought the vanilla one and it smelled ok. I used it for about a week and then all of a sudden, my armpits burned soooo bad! I broke out in a rash, and it really stopped working for the smell. I would never recommend this deodorant.

Lume must have changed their formula. Crème user for 3 years. Now rash, stinging and itchy underarms. Switch to stick. Same reaction. It also no longer holds for any longer than 12-16 hours. Very disappointed. 7 ppl in my family who used Lume deodorant say the same things.

I wish I had seen the reviews before buying it. I was shorted 70 hours. Applied it after showering and in two hours it quit working. Dove works much better.

I bought a spray deodorant, the spray didn’t work after telling me how to get it to spray. They gave me a credit but had to add money to purchase, the can I received is the same thing, it is hard to get it to spray and then runs down the can. What a waist and disappointment.

Lume Whole Body Deodorant Unscented body cream smells so bad I would never put it on my body. It smells vaguely like poop. I would really give it a zero.

I started using lume antiperspirant deodorant and it doesn't work my arm pits keeps showing wet spots under my arms really bad looks like I going to switch back to Gillette, cool wave, what can I say I gave it a shot but no thank you.

Lume is deceiving it doesn't work, still leaves body odor 👎

This product is twice the cost of my regular brand, but thought I'd give it a try.
I bought the dial up, unscented. It does have an offensive odor. It left my pits sticky. I tried the unscented powder spray. The odor was very, very offensive and went on drippy wet. I tossed both products and will not be purchasing lume again.

I really did like Lume when I first tried it. I bought the spray deoderant from my local Walmart. First off, it works for 24 hours not 72 hours. The main reason I will no longer buy Lume anymore is that I have bought or had to exchange 5 different spray deoderants because the spray stopped working before the bottle was gone or the bottles started leaking. I finally gave up on buying anymore when I realized it was a really poor bottle spray design. I tried calling Lume even and got no answer. I left a message and never received a call back, so unfortunately a good product is ruined by a bad design and poor customer service. You lost me as a customer because of this.

I'm female, age 61, and trying to get through menopause. I purchased the product through Fred Meyers because they're great about returns if a product fails. I bought 2 of the Lavender Sage, whole body sprays. One can the spray nozzel stopped working partailly through, so it was returned for a refund. The other can the nozzell got stuck 'on' and it wouldn't stop spraying so I threw it away. I'm trying the Whole Body Deodorant. When I use it at night then it get's me through 24-hours. I haven't been able to make it to the advertised 72-hours. So far after using it 3-months, I like the product and will continue to use it.

Purchased the dial up and it worked just fine for me. The price is a lot, so I am back to my regular deo.

I loved the original Lume deodorant. Powder the rose the coconut worked very well for me. The tangerine did not work for me so you definitely have to find what works best for your body that being said the new deodorant that they came out with with the aluminum in it I am highly disappointed. It smells nothing like powder for the one that I selected and I would not have bought it had I known that there was aluminum in it I thought it was just different packaging. Do I sweat no so in that regards it does work, but I am not happy that in all natural company went as far and placed aluminum in their product.

Worst product ever, I developed a chemical burn after a week of use

Used Lume underarm for about 3 months. Noticed my underarms were a bit itchy - thought it was due to the warmer weather here. This morning my underarms were extremely itchy - they are very red and covered in a rash! I washed area well and itching stopped. Liked it up to this point, but will no longer use.

You have to pick the right scent of Lume. I had the Tangerine one before and it had a more pleasant smell. I bought Alpine this time as I'm into spa scents in general. It actually has a stank of its own, not much better than mine! They only have a 60 day return policy. I hadn't used it right away, but started more recently and it's too late to return it.
