Used Lume since I first saw it on FB years ago. Works great!
Less than one star
Less than one star. This stuff smells awful! Worse than any body smell. Do not buy!

I bought the starter pack $40 delivered. I used for the first time today and had hot flashes all day long. I have an ammonia smell as well. I think this product maybe doesn’t mesh well with my hormones. Probably will gift this pack to my non hysterectomy under 50 friends.
Well honestly
Well honestly, never tried it. I don't want to either. The reason for my review is the commercials. They are the most disgusting commercials I ever seen. Everytime she comes on the TV, I have to leave the room. Darn, she was just on again. I don't want to hear about butt cracks n under boobs. Just disgusting!!!!
Lume company too expensive for amount of product
I feel the Lume company is trying to take advantage of people financially.
I do like the tubes for provate areas. I can't live without it. I like the flower and lavender sents.
I just find them so expensive for such a small tube ! Went to Target to buy a tube and it cost me a about 14.00.
If I order this online it will raise me to 30.00 ! I feel the lume company is only trying to rob people fiancially of their product. And, NO it does not last 72 hours. Not that I've waited that long. Didn't have to when I realized I didn't smell fresh waking up the next morning. Just so sad it has to be so expensive. There is truly no reason for it. Eventually I will find something different to work with. I know Lume is not the only natural company to help with odor issues.
I have been trying to cancel my order.
I have been trying to cancel my subscription with Lumi for over a year now. Not sure why none of my emails are ever answered, but they don’t care if I write a negative review I guess.
So I called my credit card company for a full refund, I won’t be trying to get ahold of you again, at this point I will be contacting my CCC every time you take my money, you no longer have permission to automatically take money from me, I don’t want your damn product anymore. Are you hearing this Lumi? Do you even care?
I just found the most amazing product that works better then expected as a deodorant, but it’s technically not deodorant. It’s liquid grapefruit seed extract GSE. It doesn’t have any smell, unlike Lumi that stinks like I don’t know what, and GSE lasts so much longer then Lumi with absolutely no Body Odor, It’s amazing and a complete fluke I discovered it as a deodorant.

I just got my order of Lume which has a few products. So far I’ve tried the invisible cream soft powder scent. As soon as I opened the cream I got a whiff of something that wasn’t soft powder when I looked at ingredients saw Mandelic acid as the second ingredient, not sure why it’s in a deodorant product but it is used in skin care. The smell of the mandelic acid did pass once it dried on the skin and I didn’t notice it while wearing the product. Went to the gym and post work out no odor. Purposely did not take a shower and went to bed( I usually hot flash through the night and in the morning I’m usually very ripe with odor in all areas) upon waking. No odor. So far I’m very happy with this product. I gave it 4 stars because of the mandelic acid odor which as I stated does disappear once product is applied and dry on skin(invisible cream). I could see how this could influence people to not want to use the product. I read many reviews from influencers and they mention the coconut oil, castor oil etc but no mention of mandalic acid which is the second ingredient meaning right after water it’s the most abundant ingredient . I have sensitive skin and had no problem with it but if someone is known to have sensitive skin then they should know to do a patch test before trying a new product.

I love the toasted coconut fragrance I wish lume would make a matching body spray with it.
Product doesn’t work
Product doesn’t work. It was such a waste of money since it costs more than the average deodorant. They need to remove the commercials and take the product off the shelves or tell the truth it doesn’t work.
Terrible
Terrible, stupid, obnoxious commercials….works for 72 hours?? That’s a complete lie….and by the way who’s going 72 hours without taking a shower? Water is free at my house.
Greasy mess
Greasy mess. I bought the stick deodorant and it was so greasy I had to wipe it all (or as much as I could) off. There is no way it could not leave grease mark on your clothes. Total waste of money.
And, when I tried to post my review on their website, it would not let me. Tells me they don't allow negative reviews.
Look Past the Pearl Clutchers
Mmmmmkay. I see what's going on here. The commercial that aired over holiday 2023 apparently has a certain sect upset that a company talked about (gasp!) body parts. Pro Tip: Smell good in your heart and perhaps talking about smelling good on your body will be easier. (Sigh.)
Look it. Lume works in ways most of the major brands WISH they could (and/or falsely say they do). The soap is luxurious but rinses clean. The deodorant is a miracle. Truly. None of the cover up smells (I got the unscented), none of the harmful chemicals, just a solid Ph balance that even after a couple of initial uses pretty much deleted my B.O. (oh noes - talking about body odor!) I also got the wipes (cucumber scented) and while I wish they could be a little more sturdy, they totally help give you a boost when you need a refresher.
I love Lume products. I cannot tell you how many defunct deodorants I have in my bathroom cabinet right now that say they do what Lume actually DOES. Don't get distracted by the pearl clutchers. Do what's good for YOU.
Lume commercials are gross.
Lume commercials are gross.
The language borders on filth
Young children see the commercials and start laughing.....Mommy, Daddy the Lume lady is talking about her butt crack again..Sure enough she is.
The company uses "potty talk" and shock value to peddle the product. Its disgusting and has no business in on television.
This stuff stinks!
This stuff stinks! I spent a lot of money on several of their overpriced products just to try them but found they cant be worn because the smell is so unpleasant.
I also, I found the doc’s interview on YouTube very insulting and unkind towards older adults. She actually said that older people smell bad merely due to their age. What the… It seems the doc has become a bit too full of herself.
Bad Customer Service
Ordered on the tenth of December for Christmas. After noticing no shipping update I contacted Lume and they blamed USPS for losing the package. When asked to expedite for the 25th the response was a solid "we don't do that". It arrived five days after the holiday and I now have to take a trip to the Post Office and return it.
Smells like onions or really bad BO.
My kids used, I used and my girlfriend used it. All of us said the same thing, it’s the worst smelling deodorant we ever used. We all had to take showers to remove it. It smelled like really bad BO and the creator of this product should be legally prosecuted for misleading the public. It’s embarrassing how bad it smells.
very good product
very good product, deodorant soap, cream and deodorant stick-working like a charm. I saw the advertisement before and I finally bought it: VERY good and efficient
The last time I smelled this bad my mom told me it’s time to start wearing deodorant daily!
Product is worthless. Both my daughter and I tried the deodorant and our own body odor was worse than we’ve ever experienced. We tried it on many occasions throughout the month wondering if hormones impacted its efficacy- nope! I haven’t smelled this bad since 4th grade when my mom pulled me aside and said it’s time to wear deodorant daily. What a waste of money. Buyer beware.
Lume Works!
I tried Lume because 'natural' deodorants do not work. I start to stink in a few hours. Lume works as advertised. For those who don't seem to understand this - deodorant is to stop smell - antiperspirant is to stop sweat. Lume is a deodorant. I have used two entire tubes of Lume with no skin issues whatsoever. I apply Lume before I get dressed. It leaves nothing on my clothing and keeps me stink free all day. I don't need to apply it everyday. Yes, you have to rub it in, even the stick works better if you rub it in, but it dries in a snap and you can dress almost immediately. Will Lume work for every single person? No. Can Lume cause skin issues in some people? Yes. That is how the world works. It isn't a failure of the product or advertisement skewing. For loads of people, Lume works as advertised and is worth the price. A tube lasts a very long so you buy it less often.
