I bought 2 hydrogen bottles in August…

I bought 2 hydrogen bottles in August received it after December. The one I did not give for a Christmas gift worked five times and stopped working. I’ve sent a few emails no response on replacement or return shipping labels. I guess I’m out of 280 bucks when the other one quits working. I’ve been reading all these other reviews and it seems like the same thing as happening. I blame myself for not checking reviews before I even purchased this product. I had to push one star otherwise I could not post this, but it would be zero stars.

They are scammers,
They sent me a bottle that leakes then lied about fixing it and stopped responding. I had my bank retrieve the transaction as fraudulent THEN the company charged my account! Not my card I provided they found my account details and charged my account illegally 6 months later and now I’ve put through another fraud case to this company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

STAY AWAY, DO NOT ORDER, CROOKS

Ordered placed for 3 bottles Dec 1st. They say it was shipped on Dec 8th. However it appears to have gone no where since Dec 9th according the the tracking. Been 45 days. Asked for a refund and they keep putting me off saying they are looking into it for about 3 weeks now. Now no one is responding to my emails now. There is NO phone number to call them.
Found out this was actually shipped from China while their website shows a USA address. Thought I was ordering from a USA company but apparently it is a front. They do not show most of the comments on their facebook pages, I'm guessing because they are all negative. They have stolen over $300 from me. Stay away from this company. Very professional website, looks legit with USA address. But they are a scam company.

DONT BUY THIS JUNK

I had this Lumiq bottle for 2 weeks. The led lights on the controller panel died. Couple of days later it started leaking. They said they couldn't send a new base because of "warehouse problems". They told me to mail it back to the manufacturer. The address was IN CHINA! I was suppose to lie to US and China customs and say the product was less than $10 or it will never make it into China. Turns out it'sworth less than $10. BE SMART DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

Purchased Lumiq Pro Bottle

Purchased Lumiq Pro Bottle. After 18 months paint began coming off and it stopped charging altogether. Customer Service reminded me the bottle only comes with 13 months warranty.

Something potential buyers may wish to consider before buying.

I ordered the bottle on November 10

I ordered the bottle on November 10. It is now December 11. Customer service provide automated AI responses which have no updates or information related to shipping ETA. Bottle is shipped from China. Difficult to process refund when you have not received the product. Grave lack of concern shown by LUMIQ. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR COMPANY TO ANY LIVING HUMAN BEING. Still not sure when or if I will receive my order so that I can return it. Not looking forward to refund/return process.

The quality was not what was expected so i requested a return and provided the approval to do so. I sent the items back with tracking information and have not received a refund in over two months.

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money, bought the lumiq ultra bottle, ordered 25/4/25 received the order within 7-10 days 1/6/25 the bottle stopped working, lumiq did send a replacement which was subsequently lost by the courier which I reported to Sophie from lumiq who just ignores multiple emails and now I’m $140 out of pocket, avoid at all costs.

Misleading Company, Failed Delivery, No Product, No Accountability

I had a deeply frustrating experience with LumiQ and would not recommend ordering from them. They present as a North American company, but the product ships from China, a detail not made clear until after purchase.

The delivery was handled by UniUni, and after the first failed delivery attempt do to a shipping address error (but the address was correct and straightforward), the package was sent to a warehouse. UniUni told me it would be reattempted in 24-48hrs but no second attempt was ever made. I waited a couple of days with no update on tracking.

After that, I requested a refund from LumiQ. Once I did, the tracking number stopped showing any information, as if the order no longer existed. My next step, I opened a dispute with Visa because I had paid for something I never received, and neither the seller nor the courier was taking responsibility.

LumiQ’s final reply was to deny the refund, claiming that because I asked UniUni to return the package (which I did after the failed delivery and long wait), and because it’s an international shipment with multiple carriers, the item may never reach them, (which really means they refuse to accept it) and therefore, they’re not responsible.

They hide behind vague shipping policies, offer no transparency or resolution, and shift all blame to the consumer, and use intimidation (we will be countering the dispute) even though the product never reached me and the tracking vanished after I asked for a refund. A company that truly stands by its products would not operate like this.

LumiQ’s Reply:
"Kindly note that as you have requested UniUni to return the package, it will be returned to one of the shipping carrier's warehouses. As this is an international order, multiple shipping carriers are involved in the shipping process. For this reason, the packages that are returned to sender do not end up arriving to us. This was also mentioned in our policies. The policies have already been accepted by you before purchasing the bottles. As you have opened a dispute and did not act in accordance with the accepted policies, we will be countering the dispute."

Costs too much and breaks too easily

Overpriced and not as good as comparable products on Amazon (which use glass instead of plastic). Ships from China, so it takes 2 weeks to receive and requires a container ship trip to get it to you. Return policy is for sh*t. I tried to cancel once I figured out it was shipping from China, but they said it was too late because they had already generated a shipping label or some BS. So I had to pay $40 to ship this back to the land of Communism and environmentally apathetic pollution. Funnily enough, I put the exact information they told me to put on the customs form, but the return package was rejected at customs. I had already requested my credit card to reverse the charge for this, so I got a refund without having to wait for them to get it back to me (they were going to hold on to my money for 3 weeks until the return came back to them). A few weeks later, I ended up receiving the return package. So, after paying for the return, I ended up getting this $180 product for $40. I have no guilt over this because this company and product are crap. After using this for a few weeks now, it has already broken down (I suspect this is because the LED screen was not fully secured into its port when I took it out of the box so water probably leaked into its circuitry). The LED and the lights don't work anymore - after just a couple of weeks!

Buyer Beware…

Lumiq provides an address of Dover Delaware on their literature with no contact phone number. I received my Lumiq Ultra in late May after waiting an eternity for it to arrive here in Hawaii. It arrived and 10 days later the display on the bottom fails to illuminate. They charged my credit card back in April as soon as I purchased My order it turns out was from Shenzen China. While it worked for barely 10 days their infamous "NFT" display is garbage. Testing of the hydrogen water shows that you can barely produce 3000ppm of hydrogen and repeated cycles reach 5000ppm max. I dealt with "Sophie" regarding the lack of timeliness regarding the shipping and when it finally arrives it's dead in 10 days. It either gets replaced or I;m filing a credit card chargeback on my order and also a complaint with the Dept of Commerce and Consumer Affairs through the FTC.

Deceptive

Their Facebook ad mentions "as seen on Men's Health, GQ, Forbes, and Women's Health". I cannot find these articles and an email to Lumiq has gone unanswered. Their latest ad implies their product will improve thinning hair, with no proof.

Update: Lumiq tried to have this review removed for being "defamatory".

Update 2: Lumiq responded to my review. It's worth a read because nothing in it is sincere - they still have not responded to my email 🤷‍♂️

Popping sound

I have mixed feelings. I love the bottle and the support was very kind as well. What i do not like is how my bottle makes a popping sound after every cycle. Not sure if it is normal.

Joke

Bought a bottle and it died within 10 days of buying it. After weeks and weeks of trying to get a hold of them they finally sent a replacement generator. When the generator come it was covered in smelly water. To top it off the thing didn’t even turn on. I then left a review to which the replied they take customer service seriously. So I then tried contacting them. Again and again with no reply. Take a good look at these reviews and see other people’s experiences because it’s a shame if you waste your money.

Don’t do it

Bought there premium bottle. Literally lasted 11 days before it died completely. I’ve been drinking hydrogen water for a few years and this bottle is the worst one I have ever owned by a landslide.

The product does NOT do as claimed and…

The product does NOT do as claimed and Lumiq refuses to do returns. Even after I asked for a return several times within the 30 day return period. Now I am stuck with 3 Lumiq bottles that don't work as claimed. They are NOT a good company to deal with so I would steer clear of them.

Look at all the bad reviews of clients complaining about the same thing. There are even more complaints on the BBB site and they have an F rating with the BBB.

Learn from other peoples mistakes.... DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
