Failed Lumiq Ultra

I ordered and received 2 Lumiq Ultra bottles, one grey and one blue. The first (blue) failed to operate after 10 days and I sent an email to support. They responded promptly and after reviewing my video of the issue and sent a replacement base which I received.
Unfortunately the other bottle that I bought originally (grey bottle) failed a few days after the first and I emailed Lumiq and sent another video of it. I have not had a response yet and trust that they are reviewing my complaint and will contact soon.
I'm hoping that I receive a replacement for that item too and that it continues to operate as advertised.
I'm happy to raise my review once both bottles have operated successfully for a reasonable period.

Unfortunately, Lumiq have not responded to my email about the second failed Lumiq Ultra bottle. They state in their auto response reply that they will respond in 24 hours but have not contacted me back after 5 days.
Two failed products after a only week's use doesn't give much confidence in their quality.

Lumiq hydrogen bottle

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a hydrogenating water bottle from this company for $159.90. It was defective out of the box. I was told in order to receive a refund, I had to send the bottle back at my own expense so they could make sure that it was defective, & then pay a 15% restocking fee. They also told me when sending it back to claim the value at under $10, which isn't illegal, but certainly could be considered consumer fraud. No one should have to pay a cent to return a defective product.

Cheap quality Ultra Model

Ordered 3 of the Ultra models after loosing the previous Pro model, the Ultra models are of poor quality with annoying sound affects. Contacted Luminq support within days of receiving Ultra models as the first bottle was leaking out bottom where power button was, support replied within a couple days that they would look into the issue however it was weeks later when they finally answered back that it was normal. The screen stopped working on the first bottle end of December as well. The second bottle stopped charging mid December and is not working at all and was starting to leak out of the bottom like the first bottle after multiple uses.
The thing that bothers me the most is the company LumiQ will not show my review on their site! Just stays in pending never giving others the opportunity to see real issues with the products! I wonder how many other low reviews are being hidden from their site!

Regarding the sound effects, these can be easily turned off in the settings menu if you find them bothersome. As for the droplets discharged from the bottom of the bottle, this is an intentional design feature that helps remove byproducts such as residual chlorine, ozone, and other oxidizing compounds generated during the electrolysis process. This ensures that the water produced is of the highest purity and safe for consumption.

If you have a bottle that is not charging or functioning as expected, we kindly ask for a video demonstrating the issue. Once we receive this, we’ll gladly assist with a replacement or a return for a refund, as customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Lumiq bottle quality and support

I bought Lumiq bottle last Feb 2024 with 13 months warranty. A week ago (end of Dec 2024) the bottle stopped charging.
Since 10 months passed and the bottle is still under warranty, I wrote Lumiq and explained. Then they asked me for a video showing the problem. Their answer is it's wear and tear and charging issue is not covered in the warranty, they are not going to refund or replace my bottle.
They ignored it's still under warranty and don't acknowledge or take responsibility for that issue.
They offered me $60 discount if I buy a new bottle which I rejected ofcourse.
I don't trust the company and quality won't do this mistake of buying from them again.

Incredible Upgrade

Never recieved a replacement ultra bottle. Was told to order the pro bottle, as that is the only option on the website and they would send the correct bottle. Not only have I paid for the bottle but also a replacement and I have nothing g that works.

BEWARE! Poor quality and even worst (non-existent) service/care

BEWARE!

Exact same issue as a number of people on here - the bottle died after a few weeks. I contacted Lumiq and was absolutely disgraced that they tried to blame it on the battery and immediately refused liability - stating that it's considered a consumable part of the bottle.

As if it makes sense that the battery would die during that sort of time frame. Absolutely, no care whatsoever. When I went back and challenged them they stopped replying. I couldn't believe it. Complete farce

JUNK!!!

wish i could give this company a 0 star. ordered 2 lumiq ultra they claim it gives you 8000 ppm. am a trust but verify kind of person. tried 2 different tests the blue drop and the test pen both of them showed 1400 ppm on both of the bottles which is not what i paid for. after contacting the company they told me since i opened and used the product literally for only 1 day it could not be returned. shame on me for not reading the return policy. but thank god i paid with amex so now i will dispute the charges with amex

BUYERS BEWARE

BUYERS BEWARE! I bought 3 Lumiq 2.0 bottles which is supposed to produce 4000 PPB after the 24-minute cycle. This bottle does NOT do what it claims!! They only produce 1500 PPB after the 24 minute cycle
They will NOT admit to false claims or return the bottles. This is a long review but worth reading.

I am not a beginner to hydrogen water, me and my kids have been using a cheaper brand for about 1 year. We enjoy using these, after seeing many adds on facebook for the Lumiq 2.0 I decided to purchase 3 of them for $259. The adds and the website claim that the 2.0 produces 4000 PPB of hydrogen. My cheaper ones which I paid $50 for produce 1100 PPB of hydrogen after 6 minutes so I was excited about the upgrade.

I received the bottles 2 weeks after I ordered them and immediately set them up by following the instructions on the manual. After 24 hours they were ready for use so I ran the 24 minute cycle on all 3 bottles and then tested them with my hydrogen water tester and all 3 came in at around the 1500 PPB mark. I ran the Cycle and tested all 3 bottles multiple times and had the same results.

I messaged the company informing them that they have false claims on there adds and on the pamphlet that comes with the bottle. They responded that my tester was not accurate and I need to use the MIZ Blue drops as a testing measure. So I went out and bought the blue drops for $20 and ran the test again on all 3 bottles and now I come up with 1400 PPB, so less then my other tester.

I message the company and told them my results had even less Hydrogen and I now ask for my money back. They respond that they now want to see a video on me testing the bottle and send it to them. I responded that I should not have to do that and I want my money back, they said again that they need to see the video.

So I run the 24 minute cycle and record the testing portion only, showing 1400 PPB on the blue drops and the 1500 PPB with my other original tester. Now they respond that they now want a video of me running the full 24 minute cycle and the tests on all 3 bottles on the same video. So they want me to take an hour and a half long video and send it to them.
I inform them that I just want my money back and again they said that we need to see the hour and a half video.
I have went back and forth with this company about the video request, stating that I think it is ridiculous that a company would request a customer to do this. Obviously this is a stupid request and they have NO intensions on returning my money.

I have now contacted the BBB and hit the review boards so other consumers do not get scammed by this company.

So again, buyers beware that the product does not do as is claims and if you buy from this company you will not get your money back regardless.

They are not transparent. They do not correspond well with customers.

This is “manufactured” in China and shipped from China. They do not put that in their shipping details or manufacturing details.

They are terrible with shipping details.

I Understand many things we use every day is from China but the fact they do not list it makes this company super shady.

I hope moving forward they have more transparent practices.

BUYER BEWARE -Bottle stopped working…

BUYER BEWARE -Bottle stopped working after about 5 months. They will not replace. Told charging/battery is not covered under warranty. That is 75% of the bottle. I am told the bottle purchased in March/April is discontinued and they cant replace but offered me $60 if I buy the new $200 bottle. The can keep their $60 because I will not buy from them again if they cannot back their product.

A few tidbits that I didn't learn on the website

1. It takes 20 minutes to get a bottle up to the 3ppm level
2. It needs to be charged EVERY day when used more than a few times
3. It's very power hungry. Takes a LONG time to charge.
4. The blue light it creates is quite annoying in the evenings

I've been using mine daily for a bit over two weeks. No noticeable effects so far, but I'm optimistic.

Terrible

Terrible. Broke within a couple months. Sent a video showing it not turning on. Said I have to send it in to be checked over or buy a new part for almost half of the purchase price. Not worth the headaches.

I had my Lumiq for 10 days… It Broke, they won’t refund me.

I had my Lumiq for 10 days, bought the upgraded model, paid $200 for it. It started to leak after using it for just 10 days. They wanted pictures and videos. They told me I need to mail it to them for them to review if it’s user error. It’s not, it’s just a terrible product. I also tested its PPM, not as advertised. Buyer beware. Who knows if I will

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. After checking, we see that your LUMIQ™ ELITE bottle was delivered about 20 days ago. This model is equipped with an Automatic Self-cleaning mode, which cleans the bottle during the hydrogen generation process. There is waste water accumulating in the bottom part of the bottle that needs to be discarded about once a week, depending on usage.

In case the bottle is defective, we will gladly replace or refund it. However, you are asking for a refund without returning the bottle. As a minimum requirement, we need a short video showcasing the leakage that does not stop after draining the tank, which is the issue you are unhappy about. We are confident in our product due to having zero cases of defective LUMIQ™ ELITE bottles.

Regarding hydrogen generation, please note that due to generating very high amounts of molecular hydrogen, hydrogen testers may not show correct results. This is because they measure the ppb amount until saturation. If you want to test for hydrogen concentration accurately, please use MIZ blue drops.
