Slow service …

I ordered the same amount of euros from Lumon and another company at the same time on 2/4. The rate from Lumon was slightly better but the money from the other company was in my Portugal account the same day whilst Lumon money didn’t arrive until 7/4. Not very good service.

Fast and efficient

I made a transfer of USD to Lumon who made the exchange to ukp & transferred to my uk bank.
All worked well & William McCreavy looked after me very well.
I deducted a star because Lumon’s phone system needs changing. Every time I tried to get through there was too much waiting and aggravation before I managed to get through to Will or had to leave messages.
I recommend this company for efficiency and there is a considerable saving to be made by not letting the big banks make the exchange.

Reasons for lower assessment than usual.

I have made a lower assessment than usual as I had to wait a long time to have my call answered and then I didn't get a call back for hours. I understand that you were very busy when I called but I felt that the person answering the phone should have owned my call and checked that I had received my call back , and if she found I had not, called me and explained that you were very busy. I have used your service for 15 years and this is the first time I have had this experience. I hope that you will agree that my suggestion will improve your customer service at busy times.
