Customer Team is very helpful
I was on the phone with Theo from the customer team and he was extremely helpful to me. My application to get a lunar bank account wad stuck and he solved my issue within some minutes, so I immediately got my bank account during our call. He took time to listen and immediately understood where the issue was, then he was able to fix it right away. He also suggested to accomplish together some additional steps to get me started and all set. Apart from the original delay in processing my application, I am quite happy with the service provided. Thanks Theo for your support today, you did great!

Waiting time in the chat
I wanted to pay my taxes, but the app has a DKK 200,000 limit. I went to the chat to increase the limit, and the queue to speak to a human agent is 5 to 6 days long. A complete disaster, and not at all professional. Especially considering all the money they save by not having physical offices; why don't they hire more staff for the only point of contact they have with their customers?
The website is rubbish and doesn't help at all either. I'm considering closing my account; Revolut is far better.

Excellent Support and Successful Dispute Resolution
My flight was cancelled by the airline, and the refund process was delayed and not handled properly by the airline.
My bank stepped in and helped me successfully recover the full amount.
I really appreciate their support and effort in resolving the issue and ensuring I got my money back. Thank you.

Bad investment relationship with Saxo Trading.
I love Lunar, but their investment Platform with Saxo was a disaster for me. I started investing one month ago and after a few weeks, they decided to close my account and give me no explanation. On top of that, after waiting 2 weeks to get a resolution and missing a lot of trade opportunities, in the end, the ASK account was closed unilaterally part of the Saxo "Cleaning Accounts". When calling to Lunar support, no empathy. As a result, moving all my investments to Nordnet.

To give a bit of context: Lunar's investment platform is powered by Saxo Bank, which means that certain account decisions, including account reviews and closures, are made by Saxo directly, in accordance with their own KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements and compliance processes. These are regulatory obligations that Saxo, as a licensed investment firm, is required to follow. Unfortunately, this also means that there are decisions we as Lunar don't have direct influence over.
That said, we do take responsibility for ensuring that the communication between Lunar and Saxo works seamlessly for our customers. If that hasn't been the case here, we're sorry, and that's something we want to improve.
We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have your account closed without a clear explanation, especially during an active period of investing. That is not the experience we want for our customers.

Lunar is an easy access bank. If needed to talk about something, you will meet helpful, personal kind of service.
Some like Johanne on the line makes a customer feel comfortable.
If there is some queue on the call, just choose the call back; they are back to you rapidly. I like Lunar.

I had a great experience with Lunar, thanks especially to Annika.
I had been waiting a few days to get my account fully set up and needed it in order to start working. Annika stepped in and resolved everything incredibly quickly. She was kind, professional, efficient, and kept me informed throughout the entire process.

As most of the low rating reviews from customers, and persons that I already meet here in dk, opening an account with this bank take forever. They ask for ONE DOCUMENT at the time, not all on one go. I mean, you already know what you need from us, if is not accepted from the first time, why asking for one instead of all and then move on with another applications? They create a huge waiting time between clients because of lack in organization I believe.
I am now on waiting again after various emails and documents sent, and hoping it will not be the second month without a salary because I SIMPLY CANNOT OPEN A BASIC BANK ACCOUNT. something so basic in any other country I have lived, and so fast, but still such a complicated process here. I will deff not recommend it to any of the new commers.
