This was 5 weeks ago, and several emails later they still will not refund my money. Please DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, THEY DONT HONOUR THEIR WORD.

Australian Government Public warning about Luxstyle

Public warning about Luxstyle

2 March 2017
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a Public Warning Notice about the alleged conduct of online retailer Lux International Sales ApS (a company based in Denmark that trades under the name LuxStyle). The ACCC received 127 complaints about LuxStyle since January 2017.

LuxStyle advertised its products on social media, directing potential customers to a website that did not display prices unless the consumer entered a mailing address and an email address. Consumers have complained that even though they did not proceed to order or purchase the goods and simply closed down the website window after viewing the price of the product, LuxStyle then posted the goods to consumers along with an invoice demanding payment and followed this up with subsequent invoices if consumers did not pay.

Consumers have reported that on some occasions where they did not pay, LuxStyle referred the matter to Australian-based debt collectors.

“The ACCC is very concerned that consumers are reporting that, in response to demands from LuxStyle, they have paid for goods that they did not order and do not want,” ACCC Deputy Chair Delia Rickard said.

“The Australian Consumer Law provides specific protection to Australian consumers. If a business sends unsolicited goods to an Australian consumer, the consumer is not required to pay for the goods, nor is the consumer required to pay to return the goods.”

“Consumers who have received goods from LuxStyle, or have been contacted by a debt collector about goods from LuxStyle, should lodge a report via the ACCC’s website at accc.gov.au,” Ms Rickard said.

The Danish Consumer Ombudsman is also conducting its own investigation into LuxStyle’s conduct, and has published information about reports from consumers in various European countries as well as Australia, New Zealand and Canada [Translation published by Consumer Protection Sweden

The Public Warning Notice has been issued because the ACCC has reasonable grounds to suspect that LuxStyle’s conduct may constitute a contravention of the Australian Consumer Law, by asserting a right to payment for unsolicited goods. It is available at: Lux International Sales ApS

Luxstyle dot whatever you want to call yourselves....

Also known as Luxstyle Benelux, Luxstyle.co.nz, etc etc.

Big scam, same experience as every other English speaking person that has written a bad review via Trustpilot under all of the Luxstyles different monikers!
I have now had a second email threatening legal action, have replied advising of the unsolicited goods and services act 1974 AGAIN.
Told them I have gone to trading standards and also in the process of seeking legal advice from a solicitor LOL
(My 'invoice' was for £75 odd)
I have told them also that they will get f@@k all payment from me, and any more emails that I recieve, I am going to ignore/delete and spam.
I really wish that there was another way all of us 'customers' could chat, and share our experiences, and also to form some sort of alliance against these scammers.. Has anybody thought of creating a Facebook page?? (I just haven't got the time to do so, but would love for somebody to do this.)
Also noticed that they have reported every single negative complaint giving the same reasons! No reference number, no order number, no full name etc etc. also, We only ship to Belgium and Netherlands etc etc .

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SEND THEM ANY PAYMENT, and as another poster put it, delete emails and bin their threatening letters and get on with your day!!

Sarah Booth. Have you looked on Luxstyle Benelux too?

Terrible terrible terrible

I saw their review on Facebook and thought I would take a closer look. since having my son, my hair has been falling out and I saw their product for eyelashes.
I started to look and had to put the products in my "cart" and put in my home address to be able to get a final price. Since it was ridiculously expensive, I did not proceed with the purchase.
Low and behold, a few days later I get an email that my "product" is ready to ship. I sent an email back right away to cancel it and suddenly they cannot because its already out. As soon as I sent the email, I get another one that its shipped, so I asked them to cancel it and they said they cannot. I call BULL on that because all they had to do was contact the delivery company to cancel the parcel.
I told them in every single email that I will NOT be paying for something that I DID NOT WANT.

They just sent me an email that I will be taken to the debt collectors because I failed to pay.. Bring it on, I have all the emails saying that I wont because I didn't want the product.

And I notice on here that they have reported every negative comment, so shows what kind of company they are.

Scammers to the highest degree.
