No minus star so force to put 1 star
No minus star so force to put 1 star. Bought tourist prepaid Sim at Changi for $50SGD. Required international roaming in Thailand. Bought on Friday, worked in Singapore. Flew to Bangkok on Sunday and it worked till Tuesday and got an SMS saying something wrong with registration and got cut off completely. So worked for 5 days only. It was a 13 or 14 day plan. Cannot contact them online. Asked to go to M1 branch to re- register. So wasted more money to buy a Thailand prepaid SIM. Should have gone with Starhub.
Don't bother with Tourist sim
Bought a tourist sim in SG, being told it would work / carry my data allowance as roaming allowance in Malaysia. The second I touched down, I got a message saying that my registration had failed (it hadn't... I'd registered - and confirmed on line that it was already registered - to dags prior. And then I was abruptly cut off.
No online chat working. No email to contact. No complaints shotline available. Not on a network anymore (thanks M1+...) so can't phone the hotline.
Feels like a con.
Ugh....
Ugh! Its genuinly all i can say about these class clowns! Never once sent me a message telling me i owed money, just cut me off, now im unable to log into the app to pay, unable to use my email because they tell me it wasnt setup, despite me emailing them proof they have my email. Im going to cancel my contract first thing tomorrow. I can only hope others do the same. Its the only way these companies will learn.
Lousy telco who leech consumer by charging extra to bill
As their customer for more than a decade. Recently my daughter got charged for some unknown service to her m1 bills. In the 1st place, how can m1 just allow third party payment into bill without authorisation!!! And they have the cheek to terminated my line due to those payment not paid!! Called cso, only waive off partial of it! Go m1 only if you want bill shock!!
I think my recent encounter with a M1…
I think my recent encounter with a M1 staff Henry Tan at Compass One is a very good one where he is willing to share with me more about the pros n cons of different mobile plans and reminded me if i am working which M1 may have a corporate plan for me.

I was billed 3 x $16 for reconnection fees and connection charges. Ended up paying over $100 for a paltry bill of $60. Total unscrupulous company who is out to made money. Deserve a zero star for that. Worst called their cso and no attempt for waive.
beware tourists - prepaid SIM - do not buy
I bought a prepaid 1 month SIM card from the convenience store but wanted to extend it as my business trip was extended.
I called Customer Service and was advised If I just top up before midnight the number would still be active and I could continue after the 1 month period.
I topped up 16SGD and then they cut me off at midnight anyway.
Pure criminal activities. Took the money and disconnected me anyway.
The first time I called up I was given a number to call for my particular type of inquiry.
I called the number the person gave me and....doesn't exist. Not even connected, I'm sure they thought that was funny.
I honestly cannot believe how unashamedly crooked and corrupt that company is or how they have any customers at all. They really are the worst advertisement for Singapore.
Hi M1
Hi M1, I have been using your telco services since its inception, and I feel that the network coverage has been going from bad to worse in recent years. I can't even have a decent 1min call today as it kept dropping (I was in a restaurant at VivoCity btw).
Also, the reception keeps going on and off when I'm travelling in the MRT, even when I'm not underground.
This kind of service is really atrocious, even as one of the main telco players in SG. I know my feedback probably won't change anything but still, just wanted to warn the public of your waning standards.
M1 -Not even worth a star
M1 -Not even worth a star. Called and waited for 40mins. Chat feature also not working. No response and keep asking stupid questions. Some plans only offered to new lines. Existing customers pay more. Doesn’t make sense. Something’s missing in corporate level. One of the worst experiences.
M1 used to be good not any more
M1 used to be good.. not any more. I live in Netherlands so kept a simple plan with M1. Upon arrival in Singapore.. called customer services for purchasing a package to topup data and call minuties.. got wrong info.. called again.. divert to website with bugs could not get anything done... round and round.. until I got to a physical shop to sign up a new plan.. been told the extra data charge will 'likely' be waived.. not the case.. can't get hold of any one.. call back not working... 150 extra dollars and a bunch of wasted time later.. I am leaving M1..
I recently had a tele-conversation with…
I recently had a tele-conversation with M1 CSO regarding a request for my oversea roaming charges. It was ignorance call charges incurred by my parent who was calling a relative in Malaysia. I had explained the issue and was told will need to seek management approval to our waiver/propose for discount to the bill request. The CSO who spoke with us, kindly acknowledge will definitely revert us the outcome within a week, however it been 2-3weeks gone by & we still did not hear any outcome. Finally, i call again and was told the request was unsuccessful. It was terribly disappointed as we had been using M1 services for more 2 decade and this is the service standard they response back to us.
On 18 Aug 24
On 18 Aug 24, visited M1 shop at Jurong Point and was served by the customer service Hui Boon.
I would like to compliment Hui Boon for her patient, professional and explained in detail of the Flexi plan, which convinced me to sign up for the package.
Once again, I thanks Hui Boon for her excellence services provided that make me change my mind to walk into other telco shops nearby.
Best Regards
Kelvin
I feel that m1 is positioned as a…
I feel that m1 is positioned as a cheaper service, with product and customer service to match. Extremely sub-par customer service and no problem-solving abilities. Do not expect any level of empathy, initiative, or intellect in their customer service if comparing with the other Singapore telcos.
Horrendous termination process
Horrendous termination process. Waited for an hour on the phone. Only to be asked to bring my elderly dad to the shop because of "protocol". Would never ever recommend. Easy to sign up, nightmare to cancel
I have worked for M1 for 4 years as a…
I have worked for M1 for 4 years as a agent for their call center and till this day I still feel undervalued, Bosses are constantly micro managing and telling me what to do, things like waiver of fees and customer subscription all have to go through the approval of team leaders, total lack of empowerment and trust for employees, only come to this job if you need experience for future jobs!
So much for bespoke plan..
Took a bespoke plan for 16.35 since august last year. Up till today I paid more that 3x than a years worth of subscription due to late fees, reconnection fees and failure to convert to this new plan.
Company run by mindless, money hungry workers who are heartless and could not understand why e bill was late in e first instance.
WILL never use M1 ever again.
Worst customer service
Worst customer service. Now than l know that I can't change my plan through phone calls.
Customer service is excellent
Customer service Manuel helped me a lot to retrieve PUK and guide me through patiently
Terrible Experience with Customer Service Agent.
my wifi is down, called the customer service and after about 2 minutes someone finally picks up, this person asks for the phone numbers related to the broadband and so I provided, he tells me that there is no such number with a broadband, turns out he typed in BOTH numbers wrongly into the system, and it is not like a single digit difference, it was the entire PHONE NUMBER, so okay sure, he then asked for the address, and I provided my 5 DIGIT postal code, and SOMEHOW HE MESSES IT UP AGAIN, not only that, he further messed up the 5 digit UNIT NUMBER?? then next he did not apologize and was rather rude, I provided the holder of the broadband's information, and he replied saying that I have not provided enough information even though I answered every single one of his questions clearly and precisely, then he further accuses us of not paying the wifi bill? is this really the standard for working at M1? is this what M1 is?
