Had an issue with MacBook Pro (2015) model. They were able to assess the battery and replace it. Not just that but they saw the issue was beyond the MacBook battery and was with the charging port. On top of that they gave me a new charger as my battery still wasn’t charging due to my charger. All this to say, reallllly top notch company. I would recommend highlyyyy

Our macbook had severe liquid damage and was not powering on, after finding MacBookfix I booked it in to see if it was repairable. After having the MacBook a couple of days they called me and advised it was not repairable. It was not really explained why and they went on to advise they could buy the MacBook from me for £65. As this was an £1800 MacBook, I didn’t accept this and requested it to be returned. I then requested further information regarding the problem and received some images and a video of the MacBook with the back casing off (still not really telling me why exactly it couldn’t be repaired). After some further research, I decided to try another repair firm who fortunately have been able to repair the MacBook. The logic board was badly damaged but they did say there was a good chance it could be fixed, and they did. A key thing to note is the company who have since repaired the MacBook advised the logic board didn’t look as if it had been taken out of the machine for assessment by this company, which concerns me. I draw 2 conclusions from this, either macbookfix didn’t have the expertise to fix/repair the logic board and didn’t want to say this or they knew it could be repaired and wanted to retain a high value item which they could switch out a new logic board and make a good profit. I would like to think it is not the latter but I am not sure. Overall, they were pleasant to deal with and communicated well (timeframes etc.) throughout the time the MacBook was with them, but knowing what I know now, I personally wouldn’t use this company for a liquid damage repair.

I never usually write reviews but I thought this service warranted a comment as it was so efficient. I posted my laptop for screen repair on Friday and it was returned to me by Tuesday. I was a little nervous sending off my laptop but could track the status. Thought the whole service was excellent.

Used MacbookFix in March 2026 for a MacBook Air screen repair, which cost £270. A few months later, the screen cracked while simply opening the lid — no drop, no impact, no mishandling of any kind.

I raised a warranty claim, which was initially declined on the basis of "physical damage." I pushed back, explaining that a screen cracking under normal everyday use is indicative of a faulty part or installation issue — not accidental damage — and referenced the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

To their credit, the matter has now been passed to a manager for review, so I will update this review once that process is complete.

The repair itself seemed fine at the time, and the communication has been prompt. However, I'd encourage anyone using this company to be aware that warranty claims may not be straightforward if something goes wrong.

I don't normally write reviews - But the service from start to finish with this company has been excellent from start to finish.
I booked in my MAC as I couldn't use it due to a screen issue. I received a QR code took to the post office, they confirmed receipt of the MAC communicated throughout the repair process, and returned.
I find nowadays there are allot of promises that rarely follow through, but they did with this company. They saved be having to buy a new MAC. 100% satisfied Thank You.

I had a macbook pro M1 13 inch and its battery had died, needed replacing. Tried many quotes from different websites, found macbookfix's quote as the best suited. Posted the device to them, received back within 5 days of repair. I was informed about the repair throughout and upon receiving the device, it works as if it was brand new. Very happy with their service, highly recommended!!

My MacBook Pro had the "Flexgate" screen issue. I took it to the Apple Store first, but they told me it couldn't be fixed because parts were no longer available.

Thankfully, I found MacBook Fix. They were incredibly professional and managed to repair my display quickly. The price was very reasonable. If you have an older Mac that Apple won't touch, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

I would strongly advise anyone to think very carefully before using this company.

My experience has been extremely poor from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward screen repair turned into a month-long ordeal with constant delays, unclear communication, and inconsistent information.

Initially, I was told the repair would be completed quickly. This then changed to a much longer wait due to lack of stock, which was not communicated upfront. After requesting a refund and return of my device, it was sent back in a worse condition than when I originally provided it, leaving it unusable.

Following further back-and-forth, I was effectively forced to return the laptop again just to get it into a usable state. While the screen has now been replaced, the device has come back with additional physical damage to the chassis, including visible scuffing and signs of impact that were not present before.

Throughout this process:

* Communication was inconsistent and often reactive rather than proactive
* Timelines were repeatedly missed or changed
* I had to chase for updates and resolution
* The handling of the device raised serious concerns

This has cost me significant time, disruption to my work, and unnecessary stress.

In the end, the only way to get a working device was to continue engaging with them after multiple failures, which should not be the case for a paid repair service.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I have a MacBook Air M1 2020, this unfortunately developed a screen fault, no cracks, chips, damage or knocks it just stopped running the display. It worked fine with a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse. Nothing would reverse this problem. I booked it in with Apple at Lakeside, had a technical expert plug it in to a diagnostic device and screen and then told me it has an internal display fault and would need a complete replacement. A very expensive way forward and not worth it. I scoured the internet and found macbookfix I gave them a call and spoke to Riffy and he was extremely helpful and was able to offer a great service to resolve my issue. Exactly as described on their website I logged in and booked my machine in for repair. There’s other companies offering similar services but they did not offer the package offered by macbookfix.co.uk. I sent it in as advised and received it back as promised in first class condition. My MacBook Air is in an absolute mint condition and came back the same way. Not a scratch, chip or ding in perfect condition. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with this company. Its first class, professional and highly skilled. Well done and thank you all for a stellar experience.

Dropped off my Macbook Pro to repair my broken screen. Turnaround was fast, but after an hours use after it had been returned, I noticed some lines on the screen, and contacted them right away, and the staff was super apologetic, and I went back to drop it off at the shop. When returned a few days later, it was as good as new.
