A really great experience from ordering to quality of produce. I will start with only moan and that is nothing to do with McDonald and sons. The courier service dpd is diabolical I am hoping it’s more to do with the inept driver rather than the courier company. The food was top quality of particular note was the larne sausage and tatie scones. We have ordered our second box already and so look forward to its arrival.

This company just seems incapable of packing meat properly so that it arrives at the right temperature. I have had packages from other butchers which have taken longer to arrive but the ice packs are still frozen and the meat cold. Not so here, I have complained direct, had replacement orders but, while some are still acceptably cold, I have never had an order that truly fulfilled health criteria. I will not order again having just fed my dogs best sirloin steak yet again. Maybe some properly insulated, sealed bags would help. Lovely man on the phone but his packing department leaves a lot to be desired. Would have been 1 star if not for the telephone manner. Sorry.

Ohh the Lorne sausage are amazing. i will always go back for more.

Absolutely delicious food. i’m scottish but live in england. I forgot how much i missed Lorne sausage and oh my goodness the steak pies! What can i say, the meat just melted in my mouth!

Hi guys thankyou so so much for my delivery i was like a wee girl in a candy shop 😋. Can't find any proper food in England such a shame as where i live there is a part that's called mini Scotland. Can I just say it would be great if you had an option to build your own box with different items at a set price and if you ever want to expand to Doncaster i would happily run it for you 😁😁😁. Well done on my delivery and the wee message on the box was an added welcome gesture definitely 5 stars 🌟

Just received my first order and i'm sure it's not going to be my last! If everything tastes as good as it looks, and i'm sure it will, i'm in for a real treat. Ordering could'nt be easier. Well packed and boxed with ice packs for delivery. Arrived still cold. Considering how hot it is at the moment i think that's brilliant! I live on my own so being able to make a purchase like this is great. I can stock freezer ready for winter months when going out is tricky. I highly recommend MacDonald & Son. (Pat)

Placed my first order recently as I was craving some fruit pudding, ended up ordering a few other items also and so glad I did. Everything arrived well packaged and chilled.
The blaggis pies were BEAUTIFUL! Fruit pudding was top quality & full of flavour.

Just had my second delivery of all our favourite foods & again I ordered during the heatwave, was worried the first time with the heat & it being delivered to London,but the box was still so cold with ice packs & meat was perfect! Again today it arrived and stone cold again. Thank you brilliant service.
