Terrible service ordered a present for…

Terrible service ordered a present for my granddaughter for her birthday never dispatched in dates shown when I complained she said she’d do everything to get it here on time so now I’ve got a distraught granddaughter who only asked for this present so now I feel I’ve let her down I’m pretty sure she is ordering the stuff off Temu or SHEIN and marking the price up as she has no control over delivery times so save yourself the bother and don’t get scammed don’t go anywhere near this place or you will be frustrated and furious like me look and read at all the reviews I’m not alone one again thanks for ruining what should have been a happy occasion came back with that weak reply below if only your orders came as quick as your replies to negative comments the 24th it entered processing which it still is on the 6th how long does a fridge magnet take 25%of your orders are negative on trust pilot not the made up ones which you can’t put on your website I’d be embarrassed by that once again thanks for ruining my granddaughters birthday

Hi,

It’s disappointing to read your review regarding the music fridge magnet you ordered and would like to correct a few points.

I run this business entirely myself, and all items are personally produced and printed by me in-house in Lincolnshire. They are not ordered from Temu, Shein, or any third party and resold.

Regarding your comments about reviews, I do not subscribe to or invite reviews on Trustpilot. Despite this, at the time of your review there were over 110 4–5★ reviews on Trustpilot which I trust you had taken the time to read. In addition to more than 500 4–5★ reviews on my website. The reviews on my website are all submitted by customers to an independent service who then publish to my website. I of course prioritise responses to reviews to ensure that prospective customers and other customers have the opportunity to read both sides.

The dispatch dates shown at checkout were estimates (not delivery guarantees), and this was communicated clearly throughout. Please note your order did not enter processing on the 24th, this was in fact the date that you placed the order not when printing commenced . I responded politely and within a reasonable timeframe to all messages and asked for the birthday date so I could try to help; this information was only provided later in the conversation after I had asked multiple times for this information to try help.

Once I was advised on the 3rd that the item was needed by the 6th, I made an immediate note of this and worked to expedite the order where possible, while continuing to process all orders fairly based on when they were received.

Excellent! Had a wiggles themed T-shirt designed and made for my little ones 2nd birthday. Arrived in time and he was over the moon. 10/10 highly recommend 😁

10/10 from start to finish

Had 6 matching pairs of pjs made by Made Personally for New Year. Everything was easy and quick. The customer service was exceptional. I had lots of questions, that were always promptly answered. I got to see and agree my design before the pjs were printed. Delivery was tracked and quick. Finally, the quality of the pjs was 10/10, lovely and soft.

Avoid unless you want to be disappointed

Bottle bought for my 3 year old grandchild faulty after 5 months use in the home. The inner flask separated from the outer casing making it impossible to open the bottle and, therefore, rendering it useless. No customer service, said it was too old to be replaced, suggested I should be able to sort it myself. Do not touch with a bargepole unless you want a very upset child!

I’m sorry to read that you were disappointed with your experience, and again, I’m genuinely sorry to hear that your granddaughter was upset.

For clarity for anyone reading this review, the bottle was delivered over 5 months before I was contacted and had been in regular use during that time. Issues caused by manufacturing faults would normally appear very early on, rather than after several months of use.

I responded promptly and politely once contacted, explained my position clearly, and offered practical advice to try and help. I did provide step-by-step suggestions to help address the issue. At no point did I suggest the bottle should be left for you to “sort yourself”; my intention was always to offer helpful guidance.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the item and the fact it’s a children’s drink bottle designed for personal, everyday use, I wasn’t able to offer a replacement or refund.

I understand this wasn’t the outcome you were hoping for, but I always aim to be fair, honest, and transparent with every customer, even when I’m unable to replace an item.

Avoid, avoid

This business it’s a complete joke! I have ordered two t-shirts for my twins in September 2025. Never received the t-shirts or refund. Customer service is terrible. The owner has a terrible attitude, it looks like a one person business. This business has to be
reported and look into it as a scam.
As I see from the customer reviews, I am not the only one. Clearly, there is enough time to reply the reviews but can’t find time to fulfil orders on time.
Terrible, terrible! Shame on you, stealing people’s money.
These are complete lies! I did contact you over WhatsApp about the order, and you said that these dates are estimates and once the order is sent I will receive an email confirmation. I have never received an email that the t-shirts are sent, not in the spam either. So don’t make yourself a victim. And you are a scam. No products no refund, no email, no reply, nothing. How can you be soo impudent, claiming you have sent the t-shirts. This is appalling!
And I will report your business as a scam website!

I've reviewed my records and can confirm that your order was dispatched within your estimated time frame shown to yourself upon purchasing. I can also see that you have never contacted me by email or WhatsApp regarding your order. Without being made aware of any delivery issue, I had no way of knowing there was a problem.

It's therefor very upsetting to read your claims that my business is a "scam" or that I am "stealing people's money". These statements are completely unfounded. I must stress again that you have never made contact about your order which was placed and dispatched over 3 months ago. This review comes entirely by surprise.

Once an order is handed to Royal Mail, delivery is outside of my control. I a always happy to assist if a customer raises an issue. Unfortunately, no contact was made until this review, which came as a complete surprise given the order was placed and dispatched over 3 months ago.

Your comments trying to cause defamation against myself and my business are totally unjustified and unfair given the facts you have failed to get in touch and make me aware of any situation.

Regarding your comments about reviews, I actually do not subscribe to Trustpilot and as such only reflect a very small fraction of my customers. In any case, at the time of writing, there are over 110 positive reviews which I'm sure you had an opportunity to also read. The negative represent a tiny percentage of total orders (0.05% in fact) placed in the same period.

I add again that it's incredibly unfair that you seem to just want to slander me and my business when you have not even been in touch about your order placed and dispatched in September 2025.

I remain happy to look into this matter if you wish to contact and provide further information.

Disappointed beyond words

Disappointed beyond words. I placed an order for personalised Christmas pyjamas in November. They have not arrived and it is now Christmas Eve.After making contact with the seller she said it was a printing issue and my order had been missed. She has made no effort to offer express shipping or any resolution instead stated that she is very busy. Okay don’t take on more work than you can handle! She had 12 days to make and send these pyjamas from when I contacted her. She has since not replied to any of my messages no refund has been offered. It has really put a damper on Christmas as I was a returning customer. Last year for my baby’s first Christmas I purchased pyjamas for the entire family. So only needed the bigger size for my little one this year. We now have no matching Christmas pyjamas and I can’t take the family photos of us all matching the same as last year for my child’s second Christmas!!!

I’m sorry to see that you’ve left a 1-star review. As outlined in our messages, I was clear and transparent about the processing delay and its impact on your order. All messages were responded to within a fair and reasonable timeframe (including out of hours), with none left unanswered.

As explained, the delay was not due to order volumes, and had it been possible to expedite the order or upgrade the shipping, I would have done so at no cost to you — unfortunately this wasn’t achievable, which is why it wasn’t offered. You asked for updates in case you needed to consider alternatives, and I was transparent in confirming that the order would not arrive in time, rather than leaving you waiting until the last minute (which I of course didn't want to do!). We had in fact been communicating between 15th and 19th December when and this was explained in my last message on the 19th. As such this information was therefore known well before the review was posted.

I’m aware you were a returning customer following a positive previous experience, and I do apologise again, as I have done throughout our WhatsApp correspondence.

Will definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely beautiful pajamas! I messaged with a bit of an unusual, custom pajamas request right before Christmas for my toddler's birthday just after Christmas and Made Personally managed to squeeze me in and they arrived within a week! They're such lovely quality, and they also had so many choices in base colour/pattern too. Really great communication and so helpful! Thank you so much - will definitely be ordering a personalised bottle in the future! Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

Turned out great

Turned out great! I gave a very basic description of what I would like printed and what she came up with looks really lovely! I’m very happy with my purchase. Also helped me track down the parcel during the busy Christmas period and luckily they’ve arrived in time for Christmas.

AVOID

AVOID! Ordered a tshirt on the 5th December as a Christmas present. Informed today that it won't be dispatched until 30 December. Requested a refund and was told that I only had 24 hours to cancel after placing the order. This is legally incorrect. I have instructed them to issue my refund as per UK Law, but I suspect they are a scam company so will not give me the money back. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Edit as I can’t reply to sellers message: taking 25 days to ship an order is absurd and IS NOT CLEAR AT ALL on your website, if you are not a scam company then I will be expecting my money back. Thank you

To clarify, the estimated dispatch window (30/12 – 05/01) was shown in four separate places during checkout, including directly alongside each shipping option, specifically to ensure this information is clear before placing an order. As mentioned previously, your order falls into this dispatch window only because it was placed after the Christmas cut-off. Like many small businesses, I close over Christmas to spend time with my family, and this is reflected in the dispatch dates shown at checkout.**

Hi Andrea - As per our Whatsapp messages which I responded within just a few hours - Your order was placed on 5th December and the estimated dispatch dates (30/12 – 05/01) were clearly shown on the product page, in the basket, at checkout, and again in your confirmation email. These dates applied because Christmas order cut-off had already passed, so your order fell into the next available dispatch window.

The item you purchased is personalised and made to order, and as stated in my Terms & Conditions (accepted at checkout), these items cannot be cancelled once production has begun. While the order is not yet estimated for dispatch, it has already begun processing. Personalised products are also exempt from the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

I take customer satisfaction seriously, and I also take offence at being labelled a “scam” company when I have over 100 verified 4–5 star Trustpilot reviews and more than 500 positive reviews on my website. Your order is being produced exactly as described and within the timeframe shown at purchase.

No order received, no updates, totally unresponsive to messages

I placed my order on the 23rd November and got the confirmation email which said that it should have been dispatched on the 28th. I emailed on the 6th December to get an update...no reply. So I sent a whatsapp message on the 10th..no reply.
I appreciate that at this time of year things take longer than usual and I'm fully prepared for this but it's a bit worrying (and frustrating) that they don't reply to any emails / whatsapp messages.
I just need to know if I'm going to receive the order in time.

Update (04/01/25): The company did reply to my message (it's a shame that it took a review on Trustpilot to make this happen). I still don't have my order and the communication remained terrible.

Reminder: I placed my order on the 23rd November, I needed the order for a birthday gift for the 16th December - the company was aware of this.

I messaged a few times all of which were ignored until I wrote the review on Trustpilot.

The gift didn't arrive by the 16th (and I wasn't made aware that I wasn't going to receive it) but I managed it by using a Christmas gift for the birthday with the plan of using the order for Christmas. I chased again on 17th December (Wednesday the week before Christmas) but message was ignored. Chased again on the 22nd (Monday of Christmas week) and was told I wouldn't receive the order until after Christmas.

I've asked for a refund as the gift is pointless now.

The whole process has been really stressful - It could have been managed better through just communicating. I get that the there might be one person trying to manage everything but, that really is your problem to sort.

Great company, quality products

Such a great company find! My 13 year old son has been obsessed with lighting McQueen since he was a toddler but because he is 6ft I struggle to find anything that fits. When I came across this website that offer adult sizes I was over the moon! I ordered an adults size small for him which just about fits him so I will definitely order this again in a bigger size in the summer when he outgrows it. The quality was superb and the jacket looks very cool. I'm so happy with this item.

Avoid this company if you don’t want to lose money

Avoid this company if you don’t want to part with your money!!!!
Shocking customer service and just rude!
I ordered my daughter PJs for her birthday on 24th September 2025 and asked for a specific date for them to arrive (albeit a little ambitious on my part) and I still haven’t received anything to date (including a refund)
I sent an email asking about my order on 11th October and received no response. I then sent a what’s app message on 16th October and from the reply was a ‘technical error’ was the reason I’d receive no update on tracking details but nothing about where my order was. The message then went on to ask if I wanted to amend the PJs to Christmas one (as I’d asked for a refund as my daughters birthday had now passed) 😳 clearly admitting the ordered hadn’t been dispatched!!!!!!
My messages were then RUDELY IGNORED for one week until the ‘owner’ replied again stating how difficult it is running a business by herself …… refused a refund yet again as the T&Cs state 24hours- yet her T&CS state nothing about accepting orders and taking payment off people and keeping the money without sending the product!!
Reporting her to trading standards as after reading reviews I am not the only person she has done this too! AVOID!!

Update- from company response
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL- LIARS!! I am actually in shock someone can actually lie about this! The last message I have received from this woman states
“ I typically cannot offer a refund, as per the terms and conditions refunds must be requested within 24 hours of ordering. I have already incurred processing costs on your order as when the order is due to begin processing this all happens automatically”
Yet now she is saying she has issued a refund to me after this same message???! Liar!!

I'm sorry to read your review. To clarify, the date you needed the order actually overlapped the estimated dispatch window shown at checkout, meaning when you ordered the dispatch was always likely to fall after the date required. Furthermore you selected the cheaper Tracked 48 delivery option which factoring in delivery time to the estimate dispatch times would have clearly put the potential delivery of your order significantly passed the date you needed the order. Unfortunately this is something you fail to mention in your review.

Despite the above, you made no request to expedite prior to or after ordering. I replied to your WhatsApp messages as quickly as reasonably possible (both same day and out of hours for some messages) and acknowledged and apologised for the fact one email had been missed prior to your WhatsApp contact. This email was certainly not ignored.

A refund was not refused — an alternative solution was offered as the order was already in production — and your refund was processed in full on 24th October. I have not had any contact with you since the 24th to advise the refund had not been received until this review was shared over a month later, otherwise this would have of course been looked into much sooner.

I also want to note that while you mentioned to me you “wish you’d read the reviews before ordering”. The vast majority of reviews for my business are positive, with over 100 rated 4–5 stars on Trustpilot (which I do not subscribe to or actively invite customers to review on) and more than 500 further on my website. Isolated situations certainly do not reflect general customer feedback which of positive experiences.

Lovely soft personalised PJs

We bought personalised pjs for our twins back in the summer from made personally. Fantastic quality pjs. They are the ONLY style my boys will now wear! They are so soft and high quality. They were sent very swiftly and the print quality is also fantastic, even after many many washes!
