I purchased the "MAGIC JOHN 4-IN-1 CHARGING CABLE, SUPER FAST 240 W CHARGING WITH RGB LIGHT". It does not work!

I tried to contact this company through its support email however it’s a non-functioning email address. I attempted it through two separate email addresses of mine. The result was the same:

Your message wasn't delivered to
"support at magicjohn dot com" because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.

The email address they provided for Support was "support at magicjohn dot com". I did this in the few days following my order being delivered. I don’t have time for a $15 item to be immersed in all the details of checking my order date or that it has a 30 day window of return or replacement. For all intents and purposes, I don’t care if I get a refund or a response at this point from this ridiculous company. I will make sure that if and when I’m talking about this company to any family and friends, I'll refer to it as a scam.​​​

UPDATE - have now offered a replacement but only if i give a 5 star review!!

As advertised the screen protector is very easy to put on , no issues at all. But considering that a big part of their advertising is that these will not scratch I already have an almighty scratch across the screen and because it’s out of its 30 days warranty they don’t want to know!

I am already waiting 2 weeks for my package, they don't even answer your emails! It states that my package already arrived while it did not! This is a scam.

This project was really bad last time after a complaint, they paid the commission and promised a new payment cycle and according to them, my September commission would be paid in October when it reached >$500 but now it's October 31st and there hasn't been any response from the support team to tell me clearly why, and their payment cycle is really unclear. I was disappointed

I purchased the screen protector on 9/28 and installed on my new iPhone 17 once it arrived. It was easy to install and for the first time ever no air bubbles on a self install. Unfortunately when I was traveling this weekend it dropped while trying to use the QR code at the parking lot on 10/25. When I picked it up the screen was cracked. Thinking that well that was money wasted and now I have a $99 screen charge from Apple. Got home peeled off the screen and to my surprise the iPhone screen was not cracked. The magic john screen did its job. Fortunately I had a second one to reinstall and will do a better job of not dropping it so I don't have to buy a new one every month.

My phone slipped out of my pocket while i was sat down at the gym, fell onto a flat rubber mat and the screen protector cracked? Not worth the money

I’ve just updated my iPhone and wanted screen protection and a case. Magic John came up on my social media feed with a demo of their screen protector which included a demonstration of the protector being exposed to a drill without damage and then being removed and hit with a hammer without breaking.

The application method and privacy screening also appealed so I ordered a twin pack from Amazon. On receipt I applied the protector with ease, it aligned perfectly and the privacy screening was very good. All went well for a week or so until I noticed a scratch on the screen which was a little surprising based on the demo I saw but I wasn’t unduly worried. A few days later I was taking my phone out of my pocket and it slipped from my grip to the floor. I picked it up and the screen protector was smashed with 3 large cracks across the screen. The floor wasn’t even hard, but had a relatively soft floor covering. The phone didn’t hit anything on its way to the floor.

I was very surprised by this based on the video I saw so contacted Magic John customer services via email with a photo. I received no response. I emailed again a few days later. Again no response.

So my conclusion is that the video I saw was AI generated. There is no way the Magic John protector I have would survive being hit with a hammer. The application method and privacy screening are great, but if you want actual protection for your valuable phone, or any form of customer support, then give this one a wide berth.

Easy application but turned out to be incompatible with fingerprint recognition on Samsung S25 Ultra. Would not have purchased had I known.

Screen protector is good quality & easy to attach with the applicator, what a great idea & it works.
However, the material is so thick it's not compatible with biometric/fingerprint security.
Therefore having to physically type my ID numbers which I haven't had to do for a couple of years or more.
Do you have a thinner, biometric-friendly, option please?

I'm sure Magic John has great products. This review pertains to the horrible customer service I received for my purchase.
I purchased two items (case and screen protector) and upon learning it wouldn't arrive in time, I tried to cancel the order (before it was even processed). I was told I cannot cancel it and would have to request a return once I received the items. Two weeks later the items were delivered and I contacted MG via email to request the return. After two weeks and several emails and FB messages later I was told by Aly, the item was too expensive to return and I should "give it to a friend." Aly would also give me 10% off my next order. This was unacceptable and I, again, requested the return since I didn't need or want the items. After another week of silence, Aly said I would have to pay for the return shipping and the original shipping cost to return the items, effectively costing me more than what I paid for the items. It seemed that this "policy" was entirely fabricated based on the situation and to mitigate MG from paying to return the items I no longer wanted. This is unacceptable and buyers should be aware that if they purchase from MG, their online policy states "returns must be requested within 30-days," however, they will leave you in limbo and mask the fact of what the refund request will cost customers based on shipping costs. In summary, I learned my lesson and hope it will assist others in making the decision before purchasing from a company based in China that does not honor their own refund policy nor state exactly what their policy entails.

magic john you star! deserve much more than 5 stars deserves the galaxy :). WATERPROOF and SMASH PROOF I'm gonna by my daughter and anna Starwell one for Christmas plus the unbreakable charger to you do a gift set????

Yes it’s easy to install but…
The privacy protection is more like a tint, the screen is still visible by your neighbours. The worst part is I dropped my phone once from a chair and now there is a diagonal crack across the screen. At first, I didn’t notice the diagonal crack until I saw the screen at an angle. Because of the privacy tint the crack is clearly visible from the side, it glows. Also visible from the side, 1 million fingerprints.

UPDATE- I had a response from my review as you can see below, I also had an email conversation with Magic Johns customer service team in which they apologised and asked for photos of the various scratches and cracks which I sent over to them. They apologised again and asked how I would like to proceed I ask for a replacement on the hope that somehow this one was faulty, nearly 5 weeks later and nothing no dispatch notice of a new one being sent and nothing through my door. Not very good customer service at all!

The Magic John screen protector is far from what I expected. I thought installation would be quick and simple — just put it in the box, pull the tab, and done in 15 seconds. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The QR code didn’t work, so I had to guess the steps myself. I cleaned the screen thoroughly using the alcohol wipe and dust sticker, then installed it. A few small bubbles appeared at first, but thankfully they worked themselves out after a few days.

However, the biggest issue is the scratch resistance — or lack of it. Despite being extremely careful and never putting my phone in my pocket with keys or anything sharp, the screen protector is already covered in small scratches and even has a large one across the front after just a week of use.

On the positive side, the privacy glass works well and the touch sensitivity feels great. But overall, it’s disappointing and not what was advertised. Feels like a case of false advertising — such a shame, as it could have been a great product.

I will give a 5 star review for the products i have purchased from Magic John for:

The screen protector is perfectly alligned, no dust,no air bubbles, finger print proof, hydrophobic
The review is for 3rd gen screen protectors and the case with a magnetic ring on the back for an iphone 14 pro max
The comparison is with RhinoShield that i had before both protectors and case that were disappointing.

POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. AVOID! Ordered the 8K clear, there was a choice of three different screen protectors all promising “privacy protection”. But only one of the three offerings actually gives you privacy protection, but you won’t find that out until you’ve stuck it to your phone which offers no privacy protection. You then have to wrestle with the customer service department who will insist that you purchased the wrong one, that’s your fault! And now you must purchase another screen protector with this time privacy protection. Customer services were terrible. All they could offer me was the opportunity to buy another protector no refund offered no courtesy [we’ve got our adverts wrong] nothing! Horrendous service, I would avoid it all cost.

Wow. All I can say. I've now used these protectors on an S24, S25 and S23 Ultra and apart from one time where it didn't stick perfectly (was replaced free of charge by customer services with no quibble), these have gone on the easiest I have EVER experienced. I'm always rubbish at putting these on without bubbles and problems but their design is flawless!! I honestly can't recommend them higher.

I purchased from Magic John through their website and received two defective screen protectors. One did not cover my iPhone 15 Pro Max properly, and the other leaked light badly on my 17 Pro. I followed all instructions for installation and even sent them photos and a video as requested.
Over the course of 9 days, I emailed them 9 times. They responded once to request a video, which I sent, and then ignored every follow-up. They advertise a “money back guarantee” but have refused to honor it or even communicate.
This is not about the $60, it’s about principle. A company that floods social media and email with ads should also stand by their products and treat customers with basic respect. Instead, they hide behind silence and force customers to pursue chargebacks.
I’ve given them every chance to resolve this and have now escalated to my bank. I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing.

Update - 10.09.25: I was and still am disappointed in their service, however Im also committed to being balanced and fair. After several emails to them, they have replaced my defective screens with new ones, which I believe was the right thing to do. While I personally may not choose to purchasing more screens, they did resolve the issue in the end.

While my first order had issues (missing and defective items), I'm happy to report that the company has since resolved the problem perfectly. They reached out and sent me a new package with all the correct items.

Previously I ordered several screen protectors for iPhone 17 Pro and a case.

The package was incomplete – one full set of protectors was missing.

Doesnt fit my s25 ultra with quadlock case. Protector to big for a usual case. Phone fell twice, protector broken. Never buying again or advise anyone to buy. Very bad

I bought this product not sure if
this was a gimmick or not, nevertheless I bought it for the iPhone 17 pro max. To keep it short, this thing works like magic no more bubbles no more sitting there worrying about dust and aligning the screen protector with the phone. This product does it all for you. If you have doubts then don't.
