When you sign up they force you to do it without setting a password by doing it through Google or Apple. The problem is that you can then get locked out of your account and there is no way back in. They don’t send confirmation emails when you buy a subscription so it seems like a scam set up to trap you on subscriptions that you can’t use or cancel. Support don’t respond to emails and the discord server they mention you should contact for support is private. This is a shame as I thought the product was okay. But it’s absolutely not acceptable to charge people for a service they can’t use.

I subscribed to MagicLight to create a serious and realistic storytelling project with three consistent characters. Unfortunately, the platform could not handle this requirement. The outputs mixed different styles, changed character appearances, and didn’t follow my script, making it impossible to continue the project. This was especially important because it was for a serious contest

I contacted support and wrote to both of their support addresses, explaining the situation and requesting a refund. I received one reply offering only a proportional refund for the unused credits, but this does not solve the fact that the credits I already used produced unusable results for my project. After that first reply, they stopped responding

I am requesting a full refund, since the service did not work for the specific and serious purpose for which I subscribed.
If the company resolves this fairly, I will gladly update my rating.

The worst AI implementation for animation I've ever seen. A 1:1 image conversion that works only by sheer luck. Extremely bad AI voices and boring music. Stay away from this.

Well I paid for a plan and the I saw 6000 credits per year no renewal of credits???? No support team can't download images ...I can go on and on frustrating

Okay this app really pissed me off I paid for a pro plan it says 580 minutes of video creation absolute bs!! You get 35.5k points with the pro plan so I created a 6 minute video and to animate my video it would cost 9.900 thousand credits!!
So in all actuality I would only be able to create 20 minutes of video max not 580 this app is a straight scam its awesome to create but its gonna cost alot to create videos.

I am leaving this review as a warning to other customers.

MagicLight.ai displays PayPal as a payment option, which gave me confidence to proceed. I clicked the PayPal button, but the payment was NOT processed through PayPal. Instead, the charge went directly onto my Visa card with the descriptors above, and nothing appears in my PayPal account.

This is extremely misleading and defeats the purpose of showing PayPal as a payment method.

Problems I experienced:

No receipt or invoice issued

No billing history or subscription details in my MagicLight account

No option to cancel a subscription

The support email has not replied

The company provides almost no verifiable contact information.

MagicLight.ai’s lack of transparency and misrepresentation of PayPal checkout make this a high-risk purchase, I recommend that potential users proceed with caution.

I feel completely let down by Magic Light AI. The website claims that the Plus subscription includes “Up to 40 one-click story videos” and “Up to 420 minutes of video generation.” However, after creating only 17 minutes of video, I was suddenly blocked from generating more. It kept telling me to buy more credits or upgrade my subscription—even though I had already paid for a full 1-year plan.

This was shocking and very disappointing. I genuinely feel misled and deceived by the promises on their website. I regret my purchase and wish I had seen the honest reviews before signing up.

Based on my experience, I would never recommend this service to anyone.

Wasting money, 100 credit for per image animation...they animate the image not creating full video at once....and the result not like what i want

Got my subscription on October 30 2025 after using the free credits and was satisfied. Paid for the full year and made 4 more videos with the credit given that went way too fast with all the corrections after the video generation go wrong most of the time. So far I was ok with that. And November 2 2025 my account totally reset as I am a new member. The 8.000 credit left gone all the videos gone. And I can’t find the receipt in any email. Also, no contact or any communication to solve this problem. I am so frustrated. Hours and hours edited those videos gone. Please be careful. If my problem is not fixed I will comment in YouTube affiliate video and will write to credit bureau to have this business reviewed.

Charged for a full year without consent – no refund, no support, broken platform
This company scammed me. I clearly selected a monthly plan, but they immediately charged me for an entire year without authorization.
I emailed their support several times requesting a refund or cancellation, and nobody ever replied.
There’s no customer service, no refund policy, and no way to cancel from your account.
The platform itself barely works — it crashes, burns credits without producing videos, and now asks for more money even though I already paid for a full year.
They never explain any of this before you pay. It’s a trap, pure and simple.
I’ve used many AI tools, and this is the least transparent and most frustrating experience I’ve ever had.
Avoid this platform. They take your money and disappear.

Stay away from this company! It is NOT what they Hype claims. First there is absolutely NO cust. svc. They take your money and you are on your own. Secondly, this AI is so incompetent it cannot determine one character from another. I attempted to created video with just 2 characters. Magiclight AI has reversed them. I have attempted to correct, no way to do it. Don't waste your money, they don't care about their customers only the money. I'm done. I won't be giving them anymore of my money. The app is nothing like they say it is. Scam.

I have been using MagicLight AI intensively for the past two weeks, developing a professional 8-minute children’s animation project.
While the artistic potential of the platform is truly impressive, the quality and consistency issues encountered during production have been deeply frustrating and costly.

🔧 1. Major recurring problems

Hands and fingers often appear twisted or deformed, with up to seven or eight fingers per hand — even when explicitly corrected in the prompts.

Character continuity is unstable: hair, clothing, and facial features change from one scene to another, despite using the exact same description and seed.

Hair and braids are inconsistent — the character Aya sometimes has two, three, or even four braids, breaking the visual coherence of the film.

Clothing issues: Aya’s jacket and pants often show holes, distortions, or different materials across shots.

Unicorn errors: sometimes generated with two horns or misplaced anatomy, which is unacceptable for a paid AI product.

Ignored corrections: even after clearly specifying corrections (e.g. “hands with 5 natural fingers”), the system repeatedly outputs the same mistakes.

⏳ 2. Time and resources invested

Over 10,000 animation credits have been used so far in testing, regenerating, and correcting these issues — a huge investment in both time and resources.
The project required careful visual consistency across more than 15 detailed scenes, yet each generation brought new errors.

Despite this, I have been patient, reworking each scene and refining prompts to the highest level of detail, specifying hand positions, finger counts, hairstyles, outfit textures, and more — but the core inconsistencies remain.

💰 3. Value and expectations

For a plan "pro" priced at nearly $35/month, users should reasonably expect:

Consistent character models across generations;

Basic anatomical accuracy (especially hands);

Respect for specific prompt corrections;

Reliable rendering without visible texture holes or model mutations.

The artistic direction of MagicLight AI is beautiful, but the lack of reliability at this stage makes it difficult to produce professional-quality content.

📸 4. Documentation and next steps

I have collected many screenshots and short videos (well beyond 15 examples) illustrating all these issues — a non-exhaustive list of recurrent failures.
I have already contacted MagicLight support and will update this review according to their response and proposed solutions.

If the team addresses these points and provides better control over consistency (for example via “character lock” or “pose refinement”), I’ll gladly update this review to reflect that progress.
Until then, I hope my feedback helps other creators understand the current limitations and encourages the developers to improve the platform’s reliability for professional use.

Promising concept and beautiful renders, but major coherence problems prevent serious production use.

Magic Light Scammed me
I had a pro plan with Magic Light, and there were approximately 43000 credits in my account, but I was told yesterday to pay more. Today, I tried to put the 1200 script, but it created a 1.20-minute video. There was a message on the screen that if you want to write 1,500 words or more, you need to upgrade. I already have £ 43,000 credit. Why is Magic Light behaving like a scammer? If I don't have a satisfactory solution, then I will charge back through but if they solve the problem, I will update my review.

I just got my monthly top-up credit for both my account in MagicLight AI and was surprise to encounter that when I try creating story to video that I used to do last month in fact I already created 4 videos last month and I have all my character stored in the Asset 'My Characters" library. 

Yesterday I tried to continue generation video and when I provided the prompt as expected it detects 2 characters and in the casting phase I'm supposed to edit it and take it from "My Characters" in the asset and was surprise to see only 3 is displayed out of almost 10 characters I created previously so I tried several times losing credits and toggling between accounts and even use incognito mode to do it but same. So I tried creating it inside "Cast" phase and use same character prompt in my asset for my characters and it creates and display correctly but the moment I click "Apply" its gone again and not even displayed in "My Characters" so go back again lose some credits and try again for several times... I even deleted my characters and re-generate it but still dont show up during casting phase... I gave up so I cleared cache and tried it again today hoping a day of inactivity works and still frustrating enough still not working.

I have written before on different issue regarding ways to get multiple characters in a single frame but for 2 months no response so I gave up hope of response and continue using it.  I hope they can assist me on this one if not, is it possible if they just refund me my year of subscription for both my account its ok if they deduct the used months as long as I can get away with this disappointment and stress.
