Threatens I won't get new emails if I don't free up space, but has no way of automatically deleting old emails. Everything has to be done manually, or input of specific addresses is needed in order to delete emails automatically. It's all a money ploy. They don't want to make it easy to force people to upgrade storage. Disgusting.

This is about Gmail Workspace Email

This is about Gmail Workspace Email. I was a happy user, spoke of high, till today. I was blocked of my IMAP usage and when contacted support they said about a super low bandwidth they've allocated to a business paid account!!! Good to charge money, but horrible in their service. I've only noticed degradation of the service over the years. Once the labels stopped working, and now IMAP is limited. Whatever the effort I take to organise and take control back of my email seem to systematically get denied. Corporates should steer clear of the services that they can't actually provide services for. Email perhaps one of those that has low margins as its been running for decades or almost a century now on the connected world, so let the small companies take care of them. Forget about having large catch-all attempts if the services levels they are suppose to keep up isn't there in their actual deliveries.

I can't give it more than 1 * because it's not fit for purpose.

I can't give it more than 1 * because I have no alternative to moving to another site.
it keeps telling me I've fed in the wrong password every time I try to log in on two accounts. I have altogether three, which is essential to to have a spare one to prove who I am. But if the same thing happens with the third password, everything will be lost for good.
It's made worse because some of it is vital research work.
If they'd charged a fee, I'd have been happy. But if they introduced one now, I wouldn't join it. In my opinion, and I'm sorry to say this, I don't thiink they're capable of running one.

How much more space can I free up

They are definitely always trying to get you to pay no matter how much space you free up. I don't see what's worth paying for now since they harassed me so much that I accidentally erased very important emails I can never get back. Good luck trying to make a buck off me now. Snh

Horrible email program

I wish this email program could be given a negative number. Google does nothing to reduce spam. When 99% of my email comes in, which is garbage, I label it spam for Googles machine learning to block. It has never blocked a single one of the dozens of spam messages I get every single day front he same spammers.

Also, the labeling of email location instead of actually moving email to a folder works horribly.

People who give this a decent rating have obviously never used a real email program.

Please help.

Uday’s Assistance Commendable, But Aftercare Lacking – Oxford Street

Subject: Feedback on Purchase and Product Advice – New Balance Oxford Street

I recently purchased the New Balance ABZORB 9060, Grey (U9060IV1), at the Oxford Street store (287–291) and was assisted by Uday Pal Trabelsi. Uday’s personal professionalism, patience, and knowledge of the product range were commendable.

However, I am concerned about the guidance provided regarding trainer suitability. It appears there was little consideration of gait assessment or individual foot needs, resulting in a recommendation that may not have been appropriate for me.

Following the purchase, I found New Balance after-sales support to be inadequate, unhelpful, and, unfortunately, seemingly intentional in its shortcomings.

While Uday performed his role professionally, this experience highlights a broader issue with product guidance and aftercare that could affect customers relying on expert advice. I hope New Balance reviews its approach to ensure future customers receive the correct support and guidance.

Beware the Hidden Annual Trap in Google Workspace – You’ll Keep Paying Even After Cancelling

I’m deeply disappointed with Google Workspace’s billing practices. I originally signed up for two Gmail accounts (CHF 12 per month each) and later increased to seven accounts for a short time. I quickly realised I didn’t need the extra ones, so I cancelled them — yet Google continues to charge me every month for all seven.

Only after contacting support did I discover that I had been placed on a yearly commitment plan without any clear warning or visible option to choose a flexible monthly plan. As a result, I’m locked into paying for unused accounts for an entire year — even though the extra ones were cancelled quickly.

This feels deceptive and unfair, especially for small businesses expecting flexibility from a modern cloud service. There should be a clear, explicit opt-in for yearly contracts, not an automatic lock-in that customers only discover after being billed.

If you’re considering Google Workspace, be extremely careful during sign-up. Double-check that you are on a flexible monthly plan if you don’t want to be stuck paying for accounts you don’t use.

For anyone seeking cheaper and more transparent alternatives, here are some good options I found after this experience:

Zoho Mail / Zoho Workplace – free or from about CHF 1/user/month

Hostinger Email Hosting – from CHF 1/user/month

IONOS Email – simple business email from around CHF 1–2/user/month

FastMail – privacy-focused, reliable, and still cheaper than Google

I hope my experience helps others avoid the same mistake. Transparency matters — especially when small business owners are trying to manage every franc carefully.

There are so many things that should be improved on this mail app, to name a few: you cannot search deleted messages, even if you’re in the deleted folder and you go on search it defaults automatically to your inbox. The archive feature is useless, as the archived messages suddenly disappear and it’s impossible to relocate them in an archived folder. No quick delete email button… and I could go on! Really wasn’t expecting such a poor mail app from Google!

If something happens to your email and you lose your phone number, and the recovery email option is selected, why not use it while the system remains stuck and sends the code to the lost phone number or Google Authentication app?

It's unbelievable, right? So for that, I'm out and giving you this bad rating.
