The pin code & tracking number are sent four times to the customer on both email and SMS: the day the order leaves the warehouse and again on the hour slot the following working day. The pin code has to be given to the driver to complete the delivery.
If the delivery fails due to you not being in, the driver will attempt the following working day. If the 2nd delivery fails, your parcel will be returned to us for a refund minus the postal costs as we have shipped correctly and given you all the information needed for you to be available to accept the delivery.

As the team explained on the live chat conversation with you, as per our terms and conditions that are on our website under FAQS, we are not able to cancel or amend orders. The team advised that you can reject the delivery when DPD arrives, and the parcel will be returned to us, and a refund will be given minus the shipping. I cannot see anywhere in the conversation that we advised to accept the delivery?
Looking at the order I can see it has now been returned and you have been refunded.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Parcel Marked Delivered but Photo Is Not My Property
I ordered from Mallet and unfortunately never received my parcel.
DPD now claim the order was delivered on 10 December, however until 14 December the Mallet shop app tracking still showed “DPD preparing for despatch.” I left a review on Trustpilot due to the lack of delivery, and the following morning (15 December) the tracking suddenly changed to “delivered on 10 December.”
Mallet stated they had photo proof of delivery, which they later shared. The photo does not show my home. It shows a closed white front door opening straight onto a pavement, with the parcel held at the bottom of the door. My property has a front garden with yellow slabs, and the door does not open directly onto the pavement. The door in the photo is also shut, not open.
The delivery photo conveniently shows a hand covering the parcel label, so no address details are visible. I provided photos of my own front door for comparison.
Mallet insist delivery could not have taken place without a security PIN, however I never received a PIN by email or text, so I could not have accepted the delivery.
Despite this, Mallet refused to take responsibility and relied entirely on DPD’s information. I am now £117 out of pocket for an item I never received.
The clothing may be nice, but their handling of lost or misdelivered parcels is extremely disappointing. I would not feel confident ordering again.
UPDATE
This matter was resolved via a bank chargeback, not by Mallet.
The delivery evidence provided was incorrect. The photo supplied by DPD is not my property (I provided comparison photos of my front door), the parcel label is covered, and the delivery information shows Dartford, which is not my address.
I also never received a delivery PIN by text or email, so I could not have accepted the delivery.
My bank refunded £100 immediately, with the remaining balance returned two days later, confirming that the delivery evidence was insufficient.
Based on this experience, I do not feel comfortable ordering again. Mallet think it's ok to take money when trainers were never delivered they have taken money again yesterday I now have escalate this I will not let this go I have never had this before dpd never delivered this package you are not keeping my money
