After the initial problems with the lost delivery with Fedex and a week of waiting.
Oby called me, to confirm a replacement would be sent out.
Thanks, Oby I received the alternator the next morning after this call.
This is a true account of my experience and by no means misleading.

Disappointed in having received the incorrect item on an order which it was blamed on a third party dispatch? This was sorted several days later after having gone to the trouble time to fit? Still not happy with the result and trying to negotiate their website is impossible!

I ordered and paid for the part and Maltings Off Road sent them via FedEx. I received an Email from FedEx to say the package had been delivered, which it hadn't. I tried to get in tough with FedEx but they referred me back to Maltings Off Road. I spoke to Joe in your parts department, explained the situation and he obviously got in touch with FedEx as they Emailed me. If it hadn't been for Joe I would still be attempting to get my package. Problem solved. Package delivered to wrong address. Now safely in my hands. Thank you Joe

Hi I've ordered parts from maltings before on eBay then came across their website while searching for parts for my discovery 2 td5. I was surprised by how competitive their prices were and now that I have received my order the quality is as good if not better than some other suppliers I have used in the past.

Have used maltings a few times never had any problems always helpful and parts have arrived on time highly recommended

Quick and easy service

Very helpful with response to initial questions about the right part. However did not get in touch soon enough when one out of three parts could not be sourced. Worked out in the end after cancelling order for the out of stock part but it took three weeks for this to happen, whilst car was off the road. Communication / response when asked was good and refund provided for out of stock part very quickly. Overall good and would use again but could / should do better with communication when one part of an order is out of stock.
