Awful customer service. I placed an order with 4 whiskeys 3 weeks ago. I have not received any information on the status of my order. I contacted customer service 3 times and nothing happened after the first responses that they will look into it. Definitely won’t order here again

Beware: Very disappointing - won't use again.
I ordered a gift for my son-in-law's birthday and noting the '5-7 days' delivery hoped it was just to cover themselves. It wasn't - it took 7 days to arrive which is pretty poor in this day and age. Where were they sending it from? The 1990's?
I had also ticked the box for 'Gift wrap' which was £6. When it arrived, the box was just wrapped in Malts.com branded paper which was stuck together with ordinary shiny cellotape! WHAT A RIP-OFF! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so clearly a money-earning scam.

Great whiskies - but also some constructive criticism
Diageo owns some of the best distilleries in the world and makes great products. If I were to humbly offer them a suggestion, I would encourage Malts.com to logistically work out how to ship domestic UK orders within 2-3 days of an order being placed, vs. their current 10-14 business day SLA. Consumers have become accustomed to a faster level of service from virtually all of their competitors, including Edrington, Pernod, LVMH, Grant's, Remy, and so on. All of these companies would appear to have orders boxed up and ready for shipping labels before hot new releases are even offered through their respective websites.

Selection is great, shipment is vague
Selection is great, still waiting for my shipment to arrive. I placed 7 different orders on one day, 6 have arrived in good order. The last one is still missing....
Edit 03NOV : Took some time to straighten things out but the final shipment has been sent out and well received in the end. Not the first time and it takes some time, prob due to the size of the company and operation, but at the end I always received the requested items. Aplogies for not updateing ;-)
