Misquoted and poor service
Used Man and Van app for a delivery, but had a really poor experience with David. He quoted a price, I booked and paid, then he contacted me asking for more money as he'd underpriced it. Fair enough, mistakes happen, but it put me in a tricky spot.
When I asked him to cancel, he did but said 'no response from customer' which isn't true. Got reassigned to another driver who also can't do it for the original price. Bit frustrating, would've appreciated more transparency from the start.
To add to it, I'm now in limbo as I've cancelled the job and am waiting for Man and Van to check if I qualify for a refund under their terms and conditions, so I can't even book another service elsewhere. Pretty disappointing experience overall.
