I laugh at these comments in the…

I laugh at these comments in the reviews i been buying cars from manheim for 36 years when there was no simucast and the fees was $80-150 now the fees are $350 plus $50 simucast fees- to thousands of $$$ depending on the price of the car and before customer service was good now its the worst its like they send all the workers to a fuk everyone over school the auctioners pump the price up whith out having any other bidders, arbitration is programed to fuk over any small dealer only the big dealers get away with anything WHY YOU ASK ? because Manheim makes a lot of money with them they can buy 100s of vehicles and they can sell 100s too, i have been screwed by manheim 1000s of time like i sold a 2017 dodge journey on OVE and they returned the vehicle back because it had 1 bent rim not a big bent either i had to buy it back after 13 days but one ove the cars i bought had all 4 wheels bent and water damager interior and dents all around they told me that condition reports are not arbitratable lol, another story is that i bought a 2016 honda crv and 40 hours later when our mecanic checked the car and the transmission has a shutter but they are telling us that we are local we should of checked the car out right away trust me i really have 100s of storys how manheim fuks people over but just remember you are extremly small and manheim is huge they dont give a fuk about you or your company they might act like they want to do the right thing but its all an act they are trained to screw anyone over mean while the low life that sell their souls to manheim garbage pay check are getting the heat and stress from the customers that they screw over mean while the owners are living the life with not a worry lol the owners are reading my review and laughing saying "who the fuk is this peasent" well this peasent is your Mother fukn nightmare B*tch.i cant wait for a group of investers open auctions all around the states and knock manheim out

Dont go to Manheims if you want to look at a damaged vehicle

I use to go to Manheims a lot to look at possible purchases and I have bought many cars there, but NOW we are Not Allowed to view damaged vehicles that are listed for auction. Is this some kind of SCAM? Do they think they can get more money for items if they cant be inspected? Its not covid related I'm told by a lady in the office, "its the National Policy" I can however view a used car and spend as much time looking at it as I want, but a damaged car that I want to access for myself is NOT POSSIBLE. I wont be using Manheims again until they reverse this STUPID DECISION. (Go to Pickles for better service)

Does not even deserve a star

Does not even deserve a star. Staff at this auction place are rude and ruthless, and their manager is even worst. You are not allowed to inspect the vehicle, there is no change of mind policy or cooling off period. Once you register you are required to give your bank card details and these people charge you 10% deposit plus administration fee plus online deposit payment fee plus buyer fee and so on. Once they have charged you these fees the staff starts dictating you their insensitive terms and conditions to remove the vehicle from their yard straight away and as in my case I was unable to make it due to work commitments these people started charging fee on daily basis,my request to allow me just 2 days was ruthlessly ignored.
I will never ever recommend this mob to anyone.

Happy, so far

Purchased many vehicles from Manheim (online auctions in Western Australia). Normally salvage cars & motorcycles. Never had a problem. Easy payment and no problems collecting (or getting tow companies to pick up). Salvage auctions have fairly low fees, compared to normal licensed vehicles. You need to read fine print. Only licensed car I bought, I got really cheap due to engine noise, but turned out to be a simple fix (loose spark plug), and it’s been my daily for a couple of years now, and it’s probably one of the best cars I’ve had! The only gripe I have, is their very vague listings of damage (particularly on salvage cars) as photos don’t always show much, and they don’t even say if it has keys (unless you see them in photos) and if the car actually runs. If I’m really interested in a vehicle, I usually have to contact them to ask, but I always get a response. I enquired about making appointment to view cars, but the person told me I can’t go and view salvage cars. I’m a shift worker anyway, so I never have time to go and look! I end up relying on their descriptions, which rarely exist. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with their service.

Was very happy with my purchase

Was very happy with my purchase
The site Auctioneer very helpful
They helped load my extremely heavy load
And put my mind at ease.
Did have 1 glitch was the dely time of confirmation email
Tried to speak to someone in office but they were very rude an dismissive.
However the site actioneer was very helpful and easier to understand in a clear english language.
He had to understanding of great customer service.
The guy in the office I spoke to on the phone needs to re think his employment as he is not suited for customer service.
The onsite auctioneer is a very valuable asset to Manheim.

WARNING

WARNING. These types of auto auctions are pumping the prices up by their over valued MMR values. If you check their MMRs and black or kelly books you will be shocked to see the increased in values. So be careful when you bid for a car

£23000 car was filled with filler

i purchased a mercedes benz from this auction , over £23000, 2018 model , it had a full silver check and all visual defects identified ie scratches on alloys ect
so when i brought it home i realised the quarter panel
had been filled with filler and painted over ,
and the job was not a good one , it was about 25inch radius that had been filled and bodged up , and they say they do all inspections and you can buy with confidence , you dont expect a £23000 car filled with filler i have no confidence at all , how did a specialist looking for defects not notice a big part of the car filled with filler ? now they are refusing to do anything about it ,
I think the cars are not much cheaper than some garages , and you then have to take a massive risk like i did , I should have paid a £1000 or so more and buy it from a garage with a warranty against these types of things, Manheim auctions are rubbish I would not even give them 1 star rating if that was possible

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! I purchased a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta that was ran as a green light. The car was a Carvana Car. When I received the car the car wouldn’t start , so I gave it a boost. After giving it a boost , the car started but the display wouldn’t come on and the check engine light was on . I knew at this point there was a problem. I also found records in the glove compartment of many problems, electrical issues, accident. I arbitrated the car and was told that a new battery fixed the problems, of course this is absurd. I informed Michael Black, the arbitrator, that a new battery would be a temporary fix for this car. I didn’t get anywhere with him so I contacted Carvana and they agreed to make concessions but after that I have not heard anything from Manheim. Carvana informed me that Manheim was going handle the situation and take care of the issue on their behalf. I have left emails and phone messages with Manheim and haven’t gotten a response. I am surprise that Manheim hires people with this type of customer service to represent their company. Please use Adessa or a local auction, because this ridiculous and costing me time and money.

This is just a very poorly run company

This is just a very poorly run company. They tell you they are understaffed due to the "pandemic". You arent allowed to go look at vehicles in person due to this "pandemic" so you have to trust ads 100%. We have bought many vehicles through them, and in the last month we have had 6 that have been blatantly falsely advertised. Manhiem gives you such a run around and wont hold the seller responsible for their lies on what they actually sold. I wish I could use someone else!

Good luck dealing with these people because BUSINESS INTEGRITY is non existent

bought a hail damage car, only 35k kms on the clock and when received the car, it turns out the car has mechanical issue and this was not listed in the website and wasnt told to buyers during the auction. in dispute for two months and finally they said they will give me $1000 refund and thats all although they accepted that it was their fault. Honestly service integrity non existent, these people are shocking absolutely shocking, would never deal with them again ever.

I have been purchasing from Manheim…

I have been purchasing from Manheim since I was 19. I love the process and have never felt uncomfortable like as a young girl I shouldn’t be buying from the salvage auction as I have at other auctions. I love Manheim and recommend them to all.
Thanks Manheim for all the fantastic experiences I have had over the years.

Happy with my online auction car purchase

I bought a car in an online auction from Manheim Queensland. The online auction and payment process was simple, the auction fee clearly communicated and reasonable, the condition report was accurate and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful when I telephoned them. I had a positive experience and I'd use Manheim again for my next car purchase.
