I liked the idea of shaker tins to reduce smells. They are very pretty & have a clear panel so that you can see how much is in the tin.
The recipes and ideas for using the seaweeds was very good too. I have added to my eggs & mushrooms (a different one) - both delicious but not of a sea addition of that makes sense?
Anyhow - really quick. Ordered Friday received on Tues. brilliant.

Great product
Fast delivery, great packaging and product itself. My husband loves furikake and realy enjoyed you product. The only thing - he would like more salt to use it as seasoning (but apart from that GREAT!)

Hi M, thanks for your feedback. Apart from Furikake, our products are 100% seaweed - there's no added salt in there! Try your husband on kombu, it tastes more salty than the others. We also find using more seaweed increases that salt-like umami flavour too. Glad you're enjoying Mara.

Great products and quick delivery
I find the whole range of Mara products excellent. We have used them in so many different recipes and they add a real depth of flavour. If you add to that the fact that they are good for you then you can't go wrong!

Maraseaweed Dulse
I have been using Dulse to replace salt in my bread baking for some time now and wouldn't consider going back to salt !
The new applewood smoked is wonderful so far I have used it to mix with savouries but will experiment .

Bought this as a gift for my daughter because she has hyperthyroidism and I wanted to increase the amount of iodine she gets in her diet.

Hi Jacquelyn, thank you for your review and I'm so glad you're enjoying our shaker tins. I just wanted to check whether your daughter has hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism? Hyper is an overactive thyroid which produces lots of iodine, so she should be careful consuming seaweed. Hypo is an underactive thyroid which means eating plenty seaweed would be helpful. It's confusing that they sound so similar!

I have read several "foodie" reviews recently about the benefits of Seaweed and it was time to purchase and try for myself. Maraseaweed was recommended. Site was informative and easy to purchase a range of goods Delivery was very speedy and the produce used and tasted to date have been really excellent

Lovely and healthy
In the never ending search for healthy additions to our diet, I found some dried Kombu seaweed in the Fair Trade shop. Great stuff, but it came all the way from Japan. In a search for something similar in this part of the world, I found Mara. I quickly became a big fan of their products, and the Fair Trade shop is now selling it too!
