Excellent service from a company that is destined to become a player in the industry.

I made an initial order and it was delivered next day as promised by the company. Excellent service and reasonable charges for delivery.

The item did not match the description - so much so that I complained. My complaint was dealt with rapidly, efficiently and politely by Jodie who organised a partial refund. The issue was caused by a change of supplier, not reflected on the website. In spite of this hiccup I will be ordering again and am satisfied with quality of goods and the professionalism of the staff.

This is a wholesale company that also deals with the general public. They have a full range of products. Good to know if you like good Italian food.

I have been using Marco’s for about 5 years now. Generally I buy stuff for pizza, now they stock kimbo coffee as well.

Some people can’t read as it states order by a specific cut off for next day delivery.
You then get tracking of where your delivery is so you can go about your day and not miss your delivery.

You can’t hold a company like this accountable for missing tea bags in a sealed bag.

Also people need to read the information if something is in the “clearance” section it is there for one of a few possible reasons, excess stock, past its best before date, packaging damaged or end of line. And probabl A few other reasons.

The quality of the produce is good.
On the odd occasion something may not be quite right I have informed them and they have fixed the problem.

Great products from Italy at good prices

The delivery was quick. Food amazing. Fabulous selection. And delivery driver Antonio took it straight into my kitchen.
Really helpful and lovely man.

I'm surprised about the negative reviews. I got exactly what I ordered and it was all in good condition. Delivery was free and the next day. There was an estimated delivery time the night before and it was possible to track it right to the door. The delivery guy was nice and friendly, jolly even. I do think the website could be improved though and it would be great if they did more fresh food, especially deli counter type food.

I have shopped with Marco Alimentari on a monthly bases for almost 2 years and they have been faultless with their services be it from office enquiries to deliveries. Transactions are smooth and invoice discrepancies, which have been rare, were promptly resolved. May I point out, Antonio who delivers in my area in Canterbury, has been exceptional with the deliveries, professional, very friendly and helpful, a perfect ambassador to Marco Alimentari.

Everything perfect!

I ordered 1100 PG tips tea bags. When arrived I’ve counted them, 20 tea bags missing.
I have contacted them phone number given, they told me write an email. I did and waiting 2 weeks there is no reply. When I phoned second time, instead of apologies they been very rude, not helpful at all.
Worst customer care and service I have ever experienced.

I needed 24 Easter Colombe and was let down by my usual Italian online shop so I found the colombe I wanted that were even cheaper.
The delivery was impeccable.

I've now used Marco Alimentari on two occasions. They have a great range of quality Italian products. I've found them helpful when phoning with product enquiries and delivery has been complete and on-time for both orders. Antonio was very efficient and friendly and checked my order when delivering. I would recommend this company.

I ordered some products, such as panettone and pandoro from Marco alimentari, and 3 items where missing.
Part of the order arrived the 13th Dec, on which the 3 items ordered and paid for where not delivered.
I got in touch with theyre customer service phone number, and they told me because they didn't recieve delivery, my order was going to be re-delivered by the 23rd Dec.
Nothing arrived , and just today, the 27th Dec I recieved a notification saying they are delivering today between 1400- 1500.
The 3 missing items where presents for X'mas.
They have not even apologised or got in touch with me at all, explaining by offering a refund or a discount.
Rubbish service and customer care

Sent the wrong item and were then no help at all. A shame as they used to be excellent.

They sold some dessert peschette out of date!!! The product description was not clear.After my complaint they changed the product description.
I am not ordering anymore. Hard to say but they were unprofessional.

I made an order to be deliver on Friday, at 17:40 the driver gave a call and said he going to take Moore than 2 hours to be on my address and I said he could leave it for Monday because its too late, today is Tuesday and I haven't received my delivery and no one contact me back, I gave them a call and the lady said to me there is nothing they can do and I have to wait another day, its very frustrating I'll receive my product after 6 days as they promised, we are a food manufacturer and I have to run and found the products to avoid to send our staffs home.

I am a regular and happy client. Good value for money and generally good experience on deliveries, etc. When something goes wrong (e.g. delayed delivery, etc.) things get a bit tricky as the B2C customer support seems quite basic - but not a huge deal.
It happened to me that the actual weight of the goods delivered was slightly lower than what was advertised on the website, but the price was not adjusted accordingly.

I've used marcoalimentari twice now, and in both occasions I've been very happy with the service, hence the full 5*. First delivery part of the order was damaged in transit, however, they issued a refund straight away and also issued a small voucher as a gesture despite nothing was asked. Products are fresh and delivered next day with a notification of the delivery time early in the morning. Products are fairly priced considering are imports. Delivery guy also very cheery, which is a bonus. Only bit is their web site, which is a bit slow, especially when checking out. After trying several online deli shops for a number of years, this one is so far the best. I hope it stays like this!

Fantastic service. The price beat competitors undoubtedly. The quality of their products superb. Very good delivery charge price and such quick delivery in itself. I definitely will be ordering more in the future. Especially that they supply my favourite type of Gorgonzola

I have been making fairly big orders about every 6 months to stock up with essential for an Italian living abroad, such as guanciale and cheese - you can't easily find some of these products, not even at Waitrose or Ocado.
The quality is stellar at a very reasonable price, deli shops appear expensive and often they are, but if you buy some of the products in bulk you might end up saving a little even, but anyway it's the quality that matters to me.

I have been in the UK for over a decade now so I tried most if not all the major online Italian "delicatessen" shops and I think this is the best one, so I've settled with them for the last couple years.

Every time an order arrives from Marco is like Christmas in my house!
