This has been the most unprofessional banking experience I have ever encountered. There is a total lack of communication, consistent delays in replies, and a complete failure in customer service. Despite being assigned a Relationship Manager, they are unreachable and unresponsive. I strongly advise other business owners to look elsewhere; this institution does not respect the time or needs of professional enterprises.

Very close-minded and inconsiderate bank for a reversal of fees, which I easily ask for a different bank in the UAE, especially for a 1st time user of theirs. There are a lot of requirements to get your request initiated, like reversal of unwanted fees; however, despite complying with their terms, the bank will eventually reject your request. Please avoid this bank and go to another legit/better bank. Don't be easily persuaded by their card promotions like 1 Dhs food/item, as I did.

The whole customer care services is a failure because since last Sunday February 1st, Amazon deducted 121.00 aed from my account and I am not even a registered user in that store. I was trying to reach help center but always AI responding stupidly regarding other issues and not solving my problem. At night I received a message saying I will be contacted in 24 hrs and until today nobody has called.

I am extremely disappointed with Mashreq’s handling of my account.
For several months, I have been unable to access my own bank account, with no effective support or resolution provided. My RM is totally useless. I have been having otp issues and im told there is no other way to access my account, unless i dont receive my otp, i cant access my online banking, and i cant even change the number to receive my otp on an alternative number.
No one takes real ownership to actually fix the situation. Every interaction involves a different representative, forcing me to explain the issue from the beginning each time, with no continuity, accountability, or follow-up.
As I live overseas, I have incurred significant costs making international calls simply to try to access my own funds. Promised callbacks never happen, cases are not properly followed up, and escalations lead nowhere.
I can read by the thousands of review that a lot of customers are having the same issue, and that clearly this is a systemic issue rather than an isolateur problem.
The lack of professionalism, urgency, and customer care is alarming, especially given the real-life consequences: unpaid bills, disrupted finances, and unnecessary stress caused solely by the bank’s inaction.
Customers should never have to beg for access to their own money. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Mashreq if they value reliability, accountability, and basic banking standards.
My lawyer has advised me to raise a complaint with Sanadak and the Central Bank of the UAE regarding the unresolved matter and the poor handling of my case.

I had been using credit card for 2 years. But once I used my full credit limit which is 20k, I spent 19,900, it was underlimit by 100 before the statement generated but immediately after the statement is genrated they charged me overfee of AED 310. Which rubbish!

Locked out of my own money – unacceptable service
I am extremely disappointed with Mashreq’s handling of my account.
For weeks, I have been locked out of my own bank account with no effective support or resolution. I keep being given excuses around OTP issues and repeated KYC requirements, yet no one takes ownership to actually fix the problem. Each time I contact support, I am passed to a different person, forced to re-explain the situation from the beginning, with no continuity or accountability.

I am forced to write this review as a last resort. Our mortgage application is credit-approved, yet Mashreq’s administrative inertia is causing us to miss our property contract deadline of January 12th.
Despite having a perfect credit history and providing a significant deposit, we have been treated with total indifference. Our Relationship Officer has been consistently unresponsive, even ending the business day without giving a promised update while knowing our purchase was in jeopardy.
Furthermore, the incompetence of the processing team is staggering. We have been asked for the same documents multiple times and forced to explain the same items, specifically "fixed savings spaces", repeatedly. It is clear that files are not being reviewed properly.
Because of Mashreq, my family is now facing potential homelessness and a breach of contract with the seller. This is not how "Relationship Banking" should work. I have escalated this to senior management and will be filing a formal case with Sanadak/UAE Central Bank today.
Avoid Mashreq if you have a strict property deadline.

Really Im Very Bad Experience i deposited 2500dhm in the atm machine . i inserted two 1000 dhm notes. and one 500 dhm note. the atm returned only 1500 dhm and one 1000 dhm note got stuck inside the machine . this amount was not credited in to my bank account its was happened 26.12.2025 timing around 3.55 to 4.45 between . amost 10 days over still i didnt get.. i have low salary how i will survice here .. this 1000dhm is big money to me ..
