Morgan was punctual, very friendly communication and made me feel totally at ease despite this being my first ever massage. She really relieved the tension in my back and shoulders. Highly recommend.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED

Tried booking a massage after purchasing an e voucher online. Total waste of time as every time I tried to book I was told that someone from my area would be in touch to arrange a booking, which never happened. My emails were ignored once I had purchased the e voucher also. My partner is due to have a c section next week and now will be unable to receive a pre natal massage as everywhere else is fully booked. 4 weeks I have tried to book a massage with massage 2 mummy and each time they have failed to respond! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we can only apologise for any inconvenience you have experienced. Thank you also for providing your contact details so we can look into this further. Many clients choose to purchase vouchers for our services as gifts so it is essential to us that the process of using those vouchers is as simple as possible. This does does not appear to have been the case when you have tried to utilise your voucher and we can only offer our apologies for that and seek to ensure this does not occur again in future.

Having checked our system, we do not appear to have received any emails from the email address you have provided. We do have a record of that email having been used to purchase a voucher and a record of the voucher being sent to that address but no further contact from that email at all.

With regards to the phone number provided we have a record of having received 2 calls from this number. The first was prior to the purchase of the voucher and the 2nd when you called to request a refund which was immediately agreed.

We note from your review that you state that you emailed on a number of occasions which is obviously concerning to us. If you could forward any emails sent previously to either support@massage2mummy.com or info@massage2mummy.com we can certainly look into this further.

As stated above I believe that a full refund has been confirmed but please do let us know if we can be of any further assistance with this or anything else.

Not what I was expecting…

Therapist was very nice however I was not told in advance I needed to provide 3-4 towels for the massage.
Therapists massage table had a stale smoke smell on it and I didn’t find the therapist very warm and friendly from arrival.
This has put me off booking again as it wasn’t quite the experience I was expecting and didn’t seem as organised and professional as I had hoped.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and I am sorry to hear that your experience was not up to our usual high standards.

There is certainly no reason why the treatment table should retain any offensive odours as our standard process is to clean and disinfect after and before every treatment. We will certainly look into this further.

With regards to towels, we do ask that 2 clean towels are made available to use at the treatment however therapists are asked to carry spares just in case. We will of course feed this back to the therapist in question.

Avoid

Really disappointed with this company, avoid them. Availablity is not as advertised on the website and turned out to be very limited. You have to pay before you can book sessions. They had no appointments I could make, they said I could have a refund but over 1 month later I am still waiting. I chase regularly and now they have stopped responding to my messages. Not sure I will ever see my money which is very upsetting.

I had a prenatal massage with Ashley…

I had a prenatal massage with Ashley Phillips today at 32 weeks pregnant. It was my first time using this service and I have to say I am so pleased with Ashley’s swift communication in the morning before my appointment. She kept me updated of where she was and time of arrival.

She was really friendly, approachable and made me feel comfortable immediately. I’ve never had a home massage before - and she was happy to observe house etiquettes like remove shoes etc.

My body felt great after and she definitely knows what she is doing as she noticed where my muscles were protruding on my upper back where I have been experiencing pain for the last 4 months. Wish I had it done sooner!

Very professional and maintained my modesty throughout.

Will be booking again to keep me loose and comfortable before baby is due!

Great service and so wonderful to not have to travel anywhere for the massage.

Great experience …

Great experience all round; booking was easy and efficient. Had a massage with Georgia three days ago and she was amazing! Professional, kind and friendly, Georgia put me at ease immediately. The massage was lovely! I am 23 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing intense upper back pain. Since my massage, I have been pain free! I will definitely book another massage with Georgia, and would strongly recommend. Great experience, thank you Georgia!

Poor customer service so won't be recommending.

I had one nice massage from a nice lady. The issue is my 1st massage was cancelled 3 times before it took place. I understand unforeseen circumstances can occur, but alternative arrangements should have been made available by the company. Following response to my feedback, I would add. It is not the responsibility of the client to inform the company that their appointment has been cancelled/rescheduled by the therapist. Perhaps the company should check in with therapists to ensure appointments have gone ahead. It is not enough to just say you were not aware that my appointment was cancelled 3 times. I was under the impression that the therapist you assigned me had informed you.
Then once the 2nd massage was booked, it was also cancelled, so as no alternative date was offered, I emailed the company for a refund. I got a response saying they'd look into it, then no further correspondence. So I had to contact them again and they offered me £40 refund, which I felt was rude and insensitive since I had never made any cancellations myself. There was no conversation or offer for compensation. They then delayed in processing the refund. I had to email yet again to chase it up and never got a response to confirm an update or offer an apology. Poor customer service so won't be recommending.

Firstly, may I offer my sincere apologies for any inconvenience you have experienced. In the 100s of treatments we provide across the country each week it is comparatively very rare that any need to be rescheduled or cancelled but as I am sure you will appreciate circumstances can occur that make this unavoidable especially recently with the need for all of our therapists to take the maximum precautions with regards Covid testing and isolation.

With regards to your first treatment we do not appear to have any record of it being cancelled by the therapist and certainly not by ourselves. Had we been made aware we could certainly have looked to make arrangements with an alternative therapist if possible. I am very sorry if this was not made clear by the therapist.

With regards to your 2nd treatment, again we had not been made aware at the time that it had been cancelled. Our first notification of this was from yourself stating that the therapist had unfortunately asked to reschedule due to a positive Covid test and that unfortunately you would be unable to reschedule and would prefer a refund.

Per that request, the refund for this treatment was completed in full and certainly not for half the amount paid. We did not offer any refund or restitution for your first treatment as none had been requested and as per the above as far as we were aware this treatment had gone ahead as booked without difficulty.

My apologies again for any inconvenience you have experienced and please do let us know if we can be of any further help with this matter.

Just had my pregnancy massage with isabelle she was lovely. I am 37 weeks pregnant and the massage was so relaxing definitely needed, I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of having a massage. Such a great way to start my maternity leave

I booked in a massage for my wife for…

I booked in a massage for my wife for the evening of Thursday 25th November. The person booked for the appointment was a complete no show, with no phone call from the company to explain the situation. I called to log a complaint this morning, only to be told we emailed yesterday. I informed them I had received no email and then they asked me to check my junk folder. Again no email, their response was "well we sent it." After working in IT for nearly 15 years and being a grown adult, its an extremely welcome statement from a company questioning my ability to check for email, even though they cannot be bothered to call. Furthermore, they have a 14 day refund period. Absolute joke of a company

Edit: In response to the company reply, your process is to send a text message to state you have sent an email concerning the booking. Customer to then check their emails. You are aware of a email issue as your text message states "If you have not received it please let us know at info@massage2mummy.... So you are expecting customers to email in to you, stating you have sent me an email, but I haven't received you email. What is the process from here, for you to resend the email?

Its clear from all the negative reviews you have an issue with communicating to customers regarding cancellations/amended bookings.

Suggestion 1: You have customers mobile numbers to send a text in the first please. Why don't you text the information or rather call??? You have turned a 1 step process into 15 steps

Suggestion 2: Stop blaming the customer stating well we tried to communicate with you. Your process is absolutely flawed. Own up and take some action. If you feel like the service is upto standard, then there is something wrong with the company values.

With regards to this particular treatment, the reason for the last minute cancellation was that our therapist returned a positive covid test on the morning of your treatment. I hope you'll understand that this left us no choice but to cancel the treatment for your own safety.

As soon as we were made aware of this we immediately sent an email and text message to let you know confirming that we would be happy to reschedule or provide a full refund per your preference.

With regards to contact our records show that we emailed you on 4 occasions:

Friday 19th November - 9:03AM (To confirm the appointment)
Thursday 25th November - 9:08AM (To let you know about the therapist's positive test)
Friday 26th November - 9:07AM (In reply to your email of the night before)
Friday 26th November 9:08AM (Resent the email of 25th November)

In every case these emails were sent to the address provided when booking and the address from which we receive an email from you on the evening of 25th.

We do appreciate that emails can sometimes go to the junk or spam folder so in addition to emailing, we also sent a text message on 25th and 26th to ensure this contact had been received and asking you to contact us if for any reason you had not received our emails. In both cases these texts appear to have been delivered.

I am sorry you felt we should also have called however we feel most customers prefer contact in writing rather than receiving calls first thing in the morning. We will of course review this process.

I am sorry you felt that our service was not up to standard but we certainly did make every effort to make you aware of what was an unavoidable situation. Your refund will of course be processed as per your request but please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
