While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Avoid MaxMyer.

I returned two judo gis that were delivered back to them on March 30th. Since April 10th, I’ve been chasing a refund with no success.

They keep giving conflicting answers — saying the refund was already issued, or that it will be processed within 24 hours. However:

No money has been received in my PayPal account
They refuse to provide any transaction ID or proof of the alleged refund
They have now stopped responding to emails

Being told repeatedly that a refund has been issued, while refusing to provide a transaction number, is extremely suspicious.

I’ve opened a PayPal dispute. Based on my experience, this is not a trustworthy business.
