Bunch of dishonest sellers selling fake…

Bunch of dishonest sellers selling fake damaged items with written descriptions that do not tell the truth. Refund policy is impossible to use and even if seller keeps the items and fills out a return slip at the auction pickup, you will never get you money from Max Sold and I am now out over $460.00 plus the gas wasted driving to get the miss represented items, and the hours wasted on the phone and email with Max Sold staff trying with no luck to get a refund.

Don’t Do It!

Basically, if they take $300 % , you will end up owing them…much better for buyers, than sellers…especially if the bid is low but, you, the seller, will end up getting some items removed but, the end result for you is near nothing or you owe them, which is ridiculous …have a weekend yard sale and be in charge of what & where you want to sell items…the price line for their »effort » , is not worth the time financially or mentally…and the end result is not pleasant

In today's environment I hope you can just be a non-bias business

In today's environment I, along with many other people, would hope Maxsold would remain non-political, non-woke in what they feel is needed to be displayed on their website and in the display of their name. Many people just want to use the site for purchasing items and don't want an agenda pushed on them. It's a sure way to lose users. Just be a business, not a partisan agitator. Thanks

Poor service

Poor service. The instructions on their website for the pick up at this auction directs you to pull down large driveway, to load items, then pull down and turn around at the end to pull out. Which if they followed their instructions would have been great. Instead they blocked the driveway entrance with cones, the woman with maxsold shirt direct you to park on the street, which is a no Parking & no Standing zone on one side of the driveway and a NJ transit bus stop. Then you have to walk down the long drive and have to make numerous trips back an forth to get the stuff to your car. Meanwhile the large, wide drive down to the pick up location is empty! They scheduled people 1 minute apart, it was a large auction probably over 300 lots, with lots of items per lot, so it was like a zoo picking up with so many people. A big mess, WITH NO ONE FROM MAXSOLD DIRECTING, they just stood around, one Neighbor came out to ask me what was going on because a car pulled in behind mine blocking his driveway. Poor, totally disorganized. To think that seller paid at least 1250 plus 30% commission to have that mess going on. I wonder if anyone got a parking ticket? If they did, since maxsold told people to park there, would they pay it? I doubt it.

Webster Storage Unit sale 4/22/23t defect that "it did not say perfect?"

Rude... the employee that was running the drive up check in was so rude and confused(over burdoned) she "YELLED" at me. There were only pickup signs, no signs to tell process for checking in, they were 45 minutes late from my assigned check in, 10:24-30am pick up time, I was REPRIMANDED for not following protocol when there wasn't anyone to check in with or signs of protocol...I just did what the person in the car infront of me did. PARK, JUMP OUT, THEN GO TO THE PURCHASE TABLE. Then was "yelled at for driving dangerously"???? BECAUSE I WAS FINDING SAFE PARKING???? PEOPLE in the car BEHIND ME WANTED THRU TO THEIR STORAGE UNIT, not be in line, the only place I could go was up the road in between units. I did not know there was a "CUE" line.
Then my item was incorrectly described; no mention that there where chips in an expensive pair of Roseville Candlesticks. There were wrapped in a small tape sealed box. I unwrapped them to check their condition and told
MS. RUDE, that was running the sale. "There are chips" , I told her that the description did not include chips she said "IT DID NOT SAY PERFECT???!!!!
She did impatiently let me know I could reject purchase and could get a refund. [ How about my time involved traveling, at my expense 40 mile to pick up, and time following the auction for a week??? ]
RUDE. RUDE .RUDE
I KEPT THE PURCHASE AS EVIDENCE.
She then yelled at me as I was going to my car, " I am going to report you for driving dangerously at this sale, you will be blocked from future bidding..."
This is the 3rd time this similar situation has occured at sales in the Webster, New York area with damaged good not included in sales descriptions. Not the yelling at me.
This was the worst. So how have you been treated???

Before covid, Maxsold was great...enjoyed and looked forward to buying from them.
Will you help me and this employee of yours to have better sales? She needs more help to hold these sales. I remember her from before and she was very effencient and organized.
I am very unhappy and hurt by her abuse. It was all a misunderstanding because of pressure.
MY THOUGHTS FOR THE FUTURE OF BUYING THRU MAXSOLD,
SOULD I CHANCE WASTEING MY TIME AND MONEY???

As a first time seller

As a first time seller, MaxSold was everything I hoped it would be. Easy to sell. Had a great time watching 2 bidders double the price of a trundle bed at the end!

I have been a long time repeat buyer

I have been a long time repeat buyer, turned into seller in more recent months. I chose Maxsold to sell on because my previous experience as a buyer. The online chat staff has always been extremally helpful, kind and i have had a pleasant experience overall. However.... I just completed my second auction and sadly, I will no longer be using Maxsold as a seller. I am in shock about the about just how much was taken.. If you're going or look to have an auction. do research and look for a different company to go through.

Maxsold really knows their stuff

Maxsold support was / is the greatest be it by phone, emails or live chat.

Maxsold tells people to ensure they bring Help & a proper Vehicle to remove item. This was a really big issue on our auction today. Honestly if we wouldn't have helps people with the bigger furniture item, these items would still be here, for pickup at a later date. People please, please please bring help and the proper vehicle to remove your items!

Terrible service, no follow up and poor result

Poor advertising. Nobody gets back to me. No advice on sales. Poor result. Terrible customer service. I've been a customer for years and often been disappointed in the service. They make an high commission but I get nothing in return (maybe they check a box?). I do all the work and they make thousands of dollars off of me. I will now sell my items elsewhere.
