Do not use!
I feel really disappointed to be writing this review, as we have given Adam the opportunity over the last 9 days to rectify what we can only describe as a very disappointing clean, and terrible customer service following my complaints and a search for a resolution. After booking a moving in clean for an empty 3 bed property, and despite expressing the state of the property and being reassured that it was OK, when we moved in we were met with a very poor attempt at the clean. I immediately wrote to Adam to alert him to the issues that we found throughout the property with photos and videos, and I did not hear from him for 48 hours, at which point we had of course moved in and had to rectify these errors. Although the property had undergone some recent building work, the issues that I pointed out were unfortunately not directly related to this and sadly it was just obvious that things like radiators had just not been wiped, kitchen cupboards were not cleaned properly, the windows were dirty etc... As they could not fulfil the guarantee to return and fix the clean, I was seeking a partial refund as you can imagine the stress of moving in and having to take time out to fix these issues. Adam has been less than helpful, as I work a full time job I have been using email to discuss this as it is hard to speak on the phone, however he is ignoring my emails, responding to some and not others, saying emails aren't arriving or going to junk... at the same time still avoiding giving us any resolution. At one point Adam refused to speak to me, and instead wanted to speak to my partner expecting a different request, and surprisingly his email has also disappeared. It is a shame that in the last 9 days there has been no offer to rectify this situation instead Adam has continued to blame us for not advising the property was in a worse state (which I did) or justifying the poor clean as we negotiated a price reduction after receiving a lower quote (we did, however we were subsequently charged a further £56 on the day for having too many conservatory windows which we accepted and paid so overall the quote was much higher in the end) At the end of the day, a price reduction does not warrant this poor service. I appreciate there are some great reviews for this company, but the majority of poor ones really do reflect the service we have had, and the petty response that follows my review is likely to also follow suit as you can be see in most of the poor reviews - my advice in this long winded explanation, don't waste your time with Mayer Cleaning!
