Locked out of my account now for no reason.
No response to my emails either to my assigned agent or their help email address.
None of the multitude of 002 numbers they rang me on work, (line busy or unobtainable).
The 'Chat' facility never worked when I had access.
So lost my money.
Think this is a scam, despite others saying it works for them? It did for me for six weeks.
It's a clever scam though, based in Doha (I think? Alarm bells?) as the site is quite impressive and allows you to buy and sell stocks & commodities easily.
They are slow to pay out, I only managed to get £170 in three payments out of the £200 I invested, the withdrawal request for £500 prompted the 'lock-out' maybe? My account was up to £2.5k+ by then.
Chalking it up to experience now, it got me into the mindset about how trading can work, so I'm now signing up to a Trustpilot rated UK based online trading platform... Wish me luck!

Finding a reliable trading platform can be daunting, but this one exceeded my expectations. I had never invested before, so was unaware of the pitfalls when dealing with companies like Mayfairplus. I was first called by the Mayfairplus 'Senior Broker', Bas van Lanschot, who used dormant funds, with profits, to open my account, even though I only wanted to invest the minimum £250. When I refused to pay more than the minimum, he then treatened me with Legal action if I didn't pay him his account deposit. Having paid, after about two weeks of softening me up, he then said that I could withdraw my funds. However, he wanted CGT on the withdrawal before approving it, and then dissapeared after I paid. I lost £10,000, because of Mayfairplus, so Please Be Warned, this man is very convincing.

Update: On the 10th of January Richard Spencer, supposedly from, Mayfairplus, phoned to help recover my losses. he and his femail assistant spent three hours harrasing me to transfer £5000 to a Monzo account, so that they could release my lost money from some Mayfairplus internal account. In the end, when I refused, they started shouting at me, and became very abusuve. It then became obvious that they were as bad as the original Mayfairplus scammers, so I pulled out immediatly.

Update 22/0i/2024:
Having made my situation clear to Mayfairplus in this review, I expected some reaction from them. When this didn't happen, I emailed them a week ago, with all my account details, and asked them to reply by email, as I didn't want to be flooded with unwanted phone calls again. So far I've not had any reply or reaction from them. Not even their standard apology! I wonder why?

The senior broker was Sam Williams of Mayfair Plus.com scammed my £201
The account was Jacob Miller. They have scammed my money and blocked my calls. Believe the are an Offshore Co. In Saudi/ Dubai.

Do not put your money in this company Mayfair Plus.com They are SCAMMERS there withdrawal is only a pretence you cannot get money out. When tried to get you money all communication from them ceased. And prior the abuse languages are not of a professional. An account manager Jacob Miller or so he said his name was told me to stop ring his fu@@king phone and you are fed with stories like his wife was in car accident they are con people. Don't think the company is UK registered. Not sure how they get away with stealing peoples money. The financial institutions should step in and closed them down

This is a scam company of Turks they will steal all your money and your ID do not fall for there very elaberate scam . Criminals should be strung up from a tree. Scumbag stole my life savings criminals evil scum.

I’ve had similar experiences to other 1 star posters here. They won’t refund your money. I have again requested transfer of my money back to my account today, from ANDREW MURRAY ( if that’s his real name). If so I’ll remove this post.

Be very careful when dealing with this company. Ideally don’t invest any money and don’t give them your name, email address and telephone number - you’ll get 15 calls a day …. I can’t understand the good reviews so I can only think they are false/fake.

Update 26/01/24, I have tried to contact this company via their website on multiple occasions in an effort to resolve this issue, it is not possible to contact them as the site keeps responding with a message to check if the data entered is correct.
In my opinion this company is certainly a scam and my opinion will not change unless they reimburse by funds invested.
On 28/12/2023 I stated I wanted to close my account and requested a withdrawal to my credit card.
The request is still "pending" and no-one will respond to my chat messages, I have sent what's app texts and other messages without any response.
This is from people who contacted me on Christmas Eve and were so keen to get me signed up they called again on 27th. I made my decision the following day to close my account and when I stated this and the reason why on the phone he hung up and I have no response since. In my opinion until I get my money returned this company is definitely a scam.

Money put into this scam is one way. You can only put money in. They have designed withdrawal process as impossible. They pester you to invest but you can't reach them. Support emails don't response. The live chat is fake and suddenly all the numbers that were calling me to invest more are now perpetually engaged. This has all the hallmarks of a fraudulent organisation. I will contact all my network to stay clear of this one.

THIS IS A SCAM - ALSO THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FALSE - I have had to report them to the Serious Fraud office and they are looking into it. They took 3k of my money and won't give it back. Steer well clear. I have alos reported them to Watchdog and the Banks

Good trading company, one thing they need to do to make us make more profits is reduce spreads and charges.

I love Mayfair Plus even though I joined then not long but customer support is the best I have seen.
