The communication with the team was…

The communication with the team was amazing. I was able to call and receive call back very quickly the same for emails. All my questions were able to be answered within minutes and it felt like the team (especially Mr Osaze Othnie) were eager to help me. Throughout the past months my experience really has been amazing.

Terrible experience

Just to clarify, this review is for Mayfords as a whole and not Osaze, who has in fact been extremely helpful. My move in with Mayfords was a disaster. The day I moved in, the previous tenant’s things were all over the apartment, including in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom closet. The mattress had blood stains on it. When I asked Mayfords to replace the mattress and to take away the tenant’s things, they took days to do so, and I had no choice but to sleep on the floor. They said they would send someone to gather the tenant’s things, and after no-showing for two days, she provided a window from 3-5pm three days later and finally showed up at 10:30pm. They delivered a new mattress a week after I moved in, and it was the wrong size for the bed frame. They have yet to replace it with the correct size despite promising they will do so, and they still have not taken away the bloodstained mattress. Shruti the property manager is utterly unresponsive and ignores your texts and calls. The emergency line is unmanned and I have left multiple messages that have also been ignored. There are multiple plumbing issues in the apartment that need attention that Mayfords is also ignoring. All of this despite being a premier, high end apartment building. Do not waste your time with this company. Please go elsewhere.

Great professionalism from Lorenzo.

Lorenzo Alexis was extremely professional throughout our viewing and so, really upheld the company’s image. I’d even asked some questions at the viewing that he was unsure abou; but rather than passing on any random information, he assured me that he would find out as soon as he got back to the office and would let me know. He did exactly as he said, that same day.

property management

Mayfords act as managing agents for a block of flats where we own a flat. There was some delay in their responses to leasehold enquiries in conveyancing but this may have been due to a miscommunication and their efficient and effective MD has helped resolve this situation very speedily and for which I am very grateful.

Exceptional service

I recently went through the process of renting a property through Mayfords Estate Agents, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received—especially from Pablo. From start to finish, he has been absolutely exceptional.

Pablo has consistently gone above and beyond to support me. He always answered my calls, responded to my messages promptly (even outside of typical working hours), and guided me through every step of the referencing and renting process. His patience, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable.

Thanks to his dedication, I’ve now been successfully accepted to rent, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If anyone deserves recognition, it’s Pablo—whether it’s a bonus, a commission, or simply a big thank you. He truly made a difference, and I can’t recommend him or Mayfords Estate Agents enough.
