I wish I took photos!

They offered me £210 for my iPhone 13 as it was spotless. Not a single scratch. When they received it they offered me £90 and sent me photos of my screen chipped and covered in scratches. Definitely take dated photos before you send.

Very disappointed. Sent away a phone that was valued at £299. It was in mint condition, with the original box etc and the phone has always had a case and screen protector on it, just not required due to an upgrade. Mazuma came back and said there is over 5 scratches across the screen and casing and they can now only offer £110!!?
The phone is definitely worth more than this, so I’m going to try and go elsewhere for the sale.

short story - they claimed phone had scratches on it and reduced the offer - then increased it by £10 later (for no apparent reason). I had to accept in the end as it wasnt worth any more hassle.

Make sure you take clear photos or videos of your device without any "reflections" on the screen before sending.

I took a video of my mint condition phone, however they claim as it had reflections on it you wouldnt see any scratches - this makes no sense, scratches are more apparent on reflective images.

Yet the photos they take have reflections on them too - which goes against what they say.

They even sent one photo without reflections that showed no scratches at all - claiming you wont see them with the screen turned on...

Damaged must have been caused by them or in transit. There is no way to claim for compensation for this.

If you have a mint condition phone, go to a store in person for trade ins.

They claim the damage is from "standard wear and tear" however the device was always used with a screen protector...

The positives were, it was easy to send my phone in, and as soon as they received it I had my offer.
The negatives - the phone I sent in was in excellent condition, but they said it had 5 scratches and the case was chipped. They reduced the offer by £10. I had already read the reviews on here about these tactics, but decided to go ahead as the offer was still better than others. I wouldn’t use them again for this reason.
I see that they’re replied, and have emailed them. If they don’t want to get poor reviews then they should review their services. I think 3 stars is fair.

These guys will offer you a good price at first then half it due to minor issues that you would expect from a second hand phone eg 80% battery condition etc you will never get the advertised price that’s guaranteed.

Having used Mazuma a number of times I have always had a good experience, they received my phone this morning and payment was received this evening. If you send of a working phone described correctly they pay the price quoted, unlike another company that I've used before

Well my iPhone 14pro was completely smashed front and back, was offered £130 wasn’t expecting to get the full amount as there was a lot of damage. No haggling with price, full amount was sent within 48hours of them receiving my phone. Great service! Thank you!

Please read the terms and conditions of this company. I thought I had removed my Google account but hadn't done it properly so they offered £5 for my phone, when I rejected it they charged me £15.50 to have my phone returned.

Phone arrived with Mazuma in the morning and by the afternoon was paid. No fuss. All aspects of selling my old phone was explained well and made very easy. 100% will use again.

Very disappointed my phones were in better condition than was made out
I felt let down by giving a fair price then it changing i think deliberately
I had high hopes for a well known company but let down by underhand tactics
