Terrible service

Terrible service, I ordered 2 mudguards with these on the 7th and still no delivery as of today the 15th. Will be requesting a refund as this is a joke. Ive tried to contact you multiple times but no answer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Great service

I bought a Cube Reaction 600 Electric Bike for my son. Service was great. Next day delivery. Can’t fault and my son is over the moon. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks to the MCR Team for the personal & quick service.

Cube Attain Out-Front Mount - Still Waiting......

The purchasing experience was straightforward for a Cube Attain out-front bike computer mount.

However, everything else was below standard. I was originally told 2-4 weeks for the part being received by the shop then it would be sent out via international air mail. The part was ordered in January and has yet to be received.

Now, delays happen sometimes with any product which is absolutely acceptable, but to get any updates on the product, I had to contact MCR bikes when it should have been visa-versa. There was no proactive contact from the shop.

In terms of costs, the shipping cost paid was $70 from UK to US, which seemed crazy to me for the very small part, but I'm unable to get the part in the US, so went with it under the thought that it would at least be a premium service and be shipped out on an expedited basis. Alas, no, there was/is no priority for the shipment, and it has been ongoing since 1st-April (April fools joke perhaps?), with an estimated delivery date of 22nd-April showing in the portal. To put this moan into context, last week I ordered a 3D printed seatpost mount for my Bryton radar from Poland, and it was installed on my bike in Texas at the weekend. The shipping cost was $13 and the parts will be an almost identical size.

Overall the process has been dreadful, with a lack of dialogue driving the initial frustrations, and a lack of reasonable priority on the shipment hammering the final nail into the coffin. I won't be a returning customer.

Shipping cost of $70 is our standard rate for international delivery to the US and unfortunately isn't something we're able to control. I do understand the frustration when the timeline didn't reflect what that cost implies.

Extremely Disappointing – Order Cancelled & Refund Still Not Received

On Sunday 15/02/2026 I ordered a CUBE Stereo ONE22 Pro Metalblack/Black 2025 from MCR Bikes for £1,599 and received confirmation of my order.

On 17/02/2026 I was contacted and told the bike was “no longer available in Europe” and had sold out, due to their 72-hour stock update system. I was informed that a full refund had been processed.

As of now, I have not received that refund. I have been told it may take up to two days, but at this stage I am still out of pocket.

What I find particularly concerning is that the exact same bike is currently listed on their website — now priced at £1,999.

I would be very interested in hearing an explanation as to how a bike that is supposedly sold out across Europe is now available for sale on the same website at a significantly higher price.

Cancelling a confirmed order after payment, claiming stock issues, and then relisting the item at a higher price gives a very poor impression and seriously undermines customer trust.

Based on this experience, I would not trust, recommend, or use this company again.

I will update this review if and when the refund is actually received.

Update 20/2/26: it took about 5 minutes for MCR bikes to take my payment of £1599 on Sun 15/2/26 & 5 days to refund. Really unpleasant experience with this company.

Your order was placed on Sunday 15/02/2026 and automatically confirmed, which is standard procedure. Our system then completed supplier verification, as our inventory operates on a 72-hour rotating stock update cycle across multiple European distributors. On 17/02/2026, the supplier confirmed that the specific unit available at that time was no longer in stock, and you were notified immediately. A full refund was processed on our system the same day.

Refunds are issued instantly on our side; however, the time taken for funds to appear back in your account is determined by your bank and payment provider. This process typically takes 2-3 working days, which aligns with the timeframe in which your refund was completed.

Regarding your concern about the bike listing at £1,999: the listing you saw was an older product listing, while the unit you purchased was from the discounted, updated listing. Both listings were removed from our website as soon as we were notified of no stock from Cube. The later visibility of the older listing does not relate to your order or refund.

At no point were any funds withheld, and the cancellation occurred solely due to supplier stock unavailability outside of our control.

MCR Bikes remains committed to transparent processes, prompt refunds, and providing access to a wide range of bikes through our European distributor network.

Bike Sale

My wife bought a Canyon e bike online which, despite much desk research into geometry, simply didn't work for her. After having bought another bike previously from MCRBikes, I asked them for a price to take it from us. They responded quickly and we accepted. Jake made the 140 mile slog up to us personally to collect, paid cash on departure, and was a thoroughly nice bloke as well. Good luck with the new premises - you deserve to do well.

What a pleasure it was dealing with MCR…

What a pleasure it was dealing with MCR Bikes. I purchased a Cube reaction hybrid 600 2026 E-MTB. The bike was at my door step within 48 hours from purchase. Before buying, i had called up and dealt with Olly over the phone querying him on the bike. I then spoke to Jake after placing the order asking for some guidance on Mudguards and accessories. When the bike arrived, Box looked great. It was very simple to set up. I just had to put the front wheel on with an allen key as well as the handle bars and Pedals. Will definitely be dealing with MCR again for my wife. Overall 5 stars. Cheers.

Used Bike purchase, Great Company, Great Service

Purchased a used Canyon Spectral Bike and some pedals through the MCR website, order was confirmed and shipped quickly, bike was in good condition, as described and rode well. Would recommend this company to others looking to purchase a new or used bike. Thanks Jake for your help,

YOU STOLE MY DREAMS ! you sold me a £2000 ebike with incorrect peddles that weren't marked LEFT OR RIGHT ,then had the audacity to say I should pay for your incompetence and shipping it back!. No instructions ,no help from him at all. Tried multiple times to get hold of him with no reply . Don't be "naive",just don't deal with this "sellar " at all. YOU STOLE MY DREAMS ! You took my £2000 in a second and now your "away" again. JUST DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY , not trustworthy at all.EDIT-you tried to get my review taking down 3xs! You sent what package again jake ? They weren't forced on ,it was 2 left peddles you sent ! And I wasn't "free" to send back,don't lie . So how come I bought the ECXAT same bike from another bone fide sellar and I can assure you it was night AND day in comparison . I'll put up that review now. Thanks jake sometimes you have to yank it out of someone to then tell the full true story. So watch my review up tomorrow from the other sellar! You also said in your tx YOU AT THE SHOP HAVE BOTHER PUTTING THE PEDDLES ON,SO AGAIN DON'T LIE . Look at all my reviews ,do you see a bad one ? This review contains several statements that are factually incorrect, so we will clarify the situation.

The pedals supplied with the bike are permanently engraved with clear “L” and “R” markings, in accordance with standard manufacturing requirements. We provided you with photographic evidence of these markings after you claimed they were not present.

The damage referenced occurred because the pedal was forced against the thread in the wrong direction, which will irreversibly damage the crank arm. This is not a product defect, but the result of incorrect installation. This is what happens when you force a "Left" Pedal into the "Right" Crank Arm and vice versa. This is not done easily either let me state. You must apply a lot of force for this to happen.

You later stated that you would be returning the bike. We confirmed that you were free to do so. However, no return has been received, and more than 30 days have now passed. I think this provides light on the truth of the situation.

We have retained full photographic documentation and message history relating to this matter.

MCR Bikes has supplied thousands of bikes successfully and will continue to provide accurate listings, properly supplied components, and responsive customer support.
